Marketing communication of TŠ Astra Praha
Pastorková, Jana ; Zamazalová, Marcela (advisor) ; Toman, Miloš (referee)
The subject of my diploma thesis is the marketing communication of Astra Praha dancing school. The main purpose was to create the right communication mix in order to stabilize current situation and enable further development of the company. The main subject consists of various parts which are: mapping of theoretic basis focused on marketing of services, marketing analysis of Prague dancing schools' market, analysis of Astra Praha dancing school as well as analysis of elements of marketing mix being used by the company. The thesis is based as well on my personal experience as a tutor in Astra Praha dancing school (more then ten years). This was fundamental when proceeding detail analysis of customer behavior and process analysis in the school. I have also the opportunity to research in praxis of Astra Praha dancing school as well as other dancing schools across Czech Republic the theoretic basis. This contributed to even better understanding of strengths and weaknesses of Astra Praha dancing school and its position on the market. Astra Praha dancing school was not using any kind of electronic database at the time. Therefore it was necessary to gather all relevant data and build a new customer care / marketing database. Some other suggestions and ideas stated in my thesis were also discussed and implemented before the finalization of this work. I chose the marketing communication for a topic of this thesis because I think it is the weakest point of the company's strategy. Therefore it represents serious thread to its next development and success and I hope this work could provide some strategic recommendation. Nevertheless, the most important benefit of this work seems to be the instant change of Astra Praha director's perception of the marketing management and its link to the overall company's management.

Distributed Behavior Protocol Checker
Poch, Tomáš ; Adámek, Jiří (referee) ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor)
Growth of the computability power in the last years enabled practical use of model checking of software systems. However the state space explosion is still a burning problem that limits usage of this technique to the relatively small tasks. One of the approaches that significantly decrease state space of the task is Behavior Protocol [1]. Behavior protocol is regular language that describes behavior of software component so that component implementation details are hidden during checking of whole application - what is reduced to the checking whether behavior protocols of used components are compliant. However even checking of behavior protocols compliance faces the exponential growth of number of states. Distributed state space traversing together with 'on the fly' state space generation [2] can be used to improve both time and space requirements.

Teaching geometry at primary school using tablet.
VACÍŘOVÁ, Lenka
The master's thesis deals with the use of tablet PCs in geometry lessons. The master's thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is focused on applications for iPad tablets themselves. It is preoccupied with the ways the stated applications are beneficial for pupils, with their major functions, and with their suitability for teaching. Besides, the thesis deals with projects that enable schools to obtain tablet PCs as equipment. The second part includes worksheets designed in applications suitable for teaching and curriculum on the first stage of primary schools. It also deals with their use in teaching itself. In conclusion, the findings that have emerged from the process of the worksheets verification with pupils are presented.

The Role of Heterogeneous Households in the DSGE model: Application to the Czech Republic
Palas, Michal ; Bobková, Božena (advisor) ; Kukačka, Jiří (referee)
In this thesis, we study the role of non-Ricardian households in an open economy dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model calibrated for the Czech Republic. We show that the presence of non-Ricardian households induces a short-term raise in aggregate consumption in response to a government spending shock. The combination of price and wage rigidities, habit formation, and the open economy design enables a low share of non-Ricardian consumers to be sufficient to predict the positive comovement of government spending and aggregate consumption. We estimate the sensitivity of consumption to changes in disposable income in the Czech Republic, and our results suggest that a significant share of income goes to non- Ricardian households. If the nominal-wage stickiness is assumed, the inclusion of non- Ricardian households does not considerably alter the determinacy of the model, and an interest rate rule satisfying the Taylor principle is sufficient to get a unique stable solution. The overall performance of the model is studied through the analysis of impulse responses to various shocks.

Himr, Daniel ; Kozubková, Milada (referee) ; Šklíba, Jan (referee) ; Abaid, Emhemmed (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
Thesis deals about solution of non-steady flow in hydraulic systems, which have one dominant component of velocity. Such systems can be arbitrarily structured and they are not limited by number of elements. Computation is based on Lax-Wendroff method and enables considering of variable sound peed as function of static pressure and properties of pipe material. It means, that hydraulic system can be very various. Numerical method is described in detail and description is also focused on sensitivity of method for time step and length step. It can be very imported for evaluation of numerical viscosity, which is compared with second viscosity of fluid. Hammer is working title of software, which was developed on the basis of written numerical procedures. This software enables fast computation of flow in pipe-line systems.

Application for Data Acquisition and Processing from OBDII Interface
Kabelka, Michal ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is focused on obtaining data from a car via the OBDII interface. A successive analysis of the measured values, car sensors, control systems and communication principles between them is done. Basic principles for creating Android mobile applications have been also summarized here. However, the main focus is on designing an application which uses a microcontroller ELM327 to communicate with the electronic systems of a real car. The application shows the obtained data in a form that enables the driver to improve his/her driving habits in terms of fuel economy. The application also demonstrates communication with a car outside of the OBDII standard, in this scenario, by controlling a built-in radio in the car.

Electrospinning of Modified Biopolymers for Medical Applications
Kultivované buňky lidského papilárního adenokacinomu plic prokázaly dobrou adhezi a proliferaci k povrchu nanovláken.

Ecology of Calamagrostis epigejos (L.) Roth
Vachová, Pavla ; Hejcman, Michal (advisor)
Ecology of expansion species is still a hot topic. The antropogenic landscape gradually occurred since the Neolithic . The result has been a change in the structure of plant communities and the successful expansion of species such as Calamagrostis epigejos. C. epigejos is expansive, perennial, long-stemmed, rhizomatous grass. Its important characteristic are very large ecological amplitude, high biomass production and a ability adjust habitat conditions. Experiments and studies that are included in dissertation, have the following basic objectives: (1) Investigate the expansion of C. epigejos in plant community. (2) Investigate the theoretical degree of stability of this phytocenosis. (3) Determine the response of C. epigejos to nutrients availability. (4) Test of possibility eliminating of C. epigejos. (5) Suggest a practical use of C. epigeos. Primarily, we monitored the reaction of interest species to management (aplication of N, P, K nutrients, mowing in various combinations). We were interested in its behavior in the plant community. It founded field and pot experiment. Results of field experiment were also used to calculate the theoretical measure of the stability of individual variants. Further research has been directed at eliminating C. epigejos using wireworms (Elateridae larvae species). The study which uses C epigejos for monitoring of deposition of heavy metals, has shown that aspects of the global expansion of the grass are not always negative.
