Post-critical multi-modal vibration of a continuous inverse pendulum type system
Náprstek, Jiří ; Fischer, Cyril
Auto-parametric effects are processes endangering structures during a seismic attack. Tall structures exposed to a strong vertical component of an earthquake excitation nearby the epicenter can collapse due to auto-parametric resonance effect. Vertical and horizontal response components being independent in the linear regime get into a complex interaction due to non-linear terms in post-critical regime. Two generally different types of the post-critical regimes are presented: (i) post-critical state with possible recovery; (ii) exponentially rising horizontal response leading to a collapse. A special attention is paid to processes of transition from semi-trivial to post-critical state in case of time limited excitation period as it concerns the seismic processes. Solution method combining analytical and numerical approaches is developed and used. Its applicability and shortcomings are commented. A few hints for engineering applications are given.

Determination of acidity constants of cytosine and uracil derivatives by capillary zone electrophoresis
Geffertová, Denisa ; Zusková, Iva (referee) ; Kašička, Václav (advisor)
5 ABSTRACT Capillary zone electrophoresis was applied to determination of acid-base dissociation constants (pKa) of ionogenic groups of newly synthesized 5-azacytosine and 6-chlorouracil derivatives. Cytosine derivatives show strong antiviral activity and they contain one basic amino group and one acidic hydrogenphosphonate group. Uracil derivative is potential antineoplastic and it involves one acidic enol form of NH-CO group. The pKa of these ionogenic groups were determined by nonlinear regression analysis of effective mobilities dependence on pH. The pKa of 6-chlorouracil was also determined by linear regression analysis of the dependence of inverse value of effective mobility on the activity of H+ ions. Effective mobilities were measured by capillary zone electrophoresis performed in the series of BGEs in a broad pH range (2.0-10.5), at constant ionic strength (25 mM) and standard temperature (25 řC). Thermodynamic pKa of amino group was estimated to be in the range 2.69-3.19; pKa of hydrogenphosphonate group achieved values from 6.80 to 7.07. Thermodynamic acidity constant of enol form of NH-CO group determined by linear regression analysis was equal to 5.71 and by nonlinear regression analysis it was equal to 5.90. SUBJECT WORDS: analytical chemistry, capillary electrophoresis, separation methods...

The graduation thesis was elaborated on TOP Dům company and it is separated into two basic parts analytic and proposed. The company analysis was directed especially on marketing. There are showed problems that have been necessity corrected. I propose a solution of these problems in the second part. There are showed a strong points of company and a potencial utilization of market at the deficiency elimination of firm and threats that may it influence on.

Solidarity and equivalence in the Czech pension system
Staňková, Markéta ; Krebs, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Vybíralová, Ivana (referee)
My diploma thesis deals with problems of pension insurance, which is characterized by strong income redistribution and low pension equivalence. The aim of my thesis is complex analysis of contemporary state of Czech pension system from the point of view of solidarity and equivalence principle application and to propose solution reinforcing equivalence principle. In the theoretical part of the theses I first define terms solidarity and equivalence, then introduce types of pension plans, possibilities of their financing and describe current pension system. Analytical part points to excessive solidarity of Czech pension system. Analysis covers both mandatory basic pension insurance (reduction limits, non-contributory periods), and additional pension insurance with state contributions. Analysis contains comparison with selected states. Thesis conclusion leads in proposal of adequate problem solution. Study employs methods of systemic analysis, comparison, and synthesis.

Marketing strategy of Ahold Company in the Czech Republic
Hubáček, David ; Halík, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Beneš, Martin (referee)
The main purpose of my bachelor's work is to suggest a marketing strategy for Ahold Company in the Czech Republic. The selection of this work is quite prosaic. It is difficult to retain and attract new customers in today's modern and hectic times. Whether it is due to their higher demands or because of a very strong competition. In the introductory part of my bachelor's work I will shortly summarize the theoretical background, which I then apply directly to Ahold Company in the Czech Republic The second part will be analytical and I will introduce the Ahold Company and I will put the individual analysis into effect. I set up a SWOT analysis from these analyses and I will suggest some opportunities for selected company. In the conclusion I sum up the results of my analysis and consider whether or not and in which way the proposed opportunities could inspire Ahold Company.

Reflections of totalitarian regimes in Poland and Czechoslovakia after 1989.
Lunter, Jakub ; Kosek, Jan (advisor) ; Mucha, Ivan (referee)
Reflexia totalitných režimov v Poľsku a Československu po roku 1989 Coming to term with totalitarian past in Poland and Czechoslovakia after the year 1989 The aim of the thesis is to compare the process of redistribution of justice (coming to term with communist past) in Poland and Czechoslovakia (with the emphasis on the Czech part of previous federal state) after the fall of authoritarian regime. In order to be able to understand all the circumstances and the discrepancies of these two transitions, the thesis analytically compares the way how transition was proceeded in both countries using Huntington typology of transition. Based on Huntington and transitional justice theories, Poland went through slow transition since new elites had to negotiate every piece of an agreement, which took many years for Poland to transform into democratic country with all basic aspects of liberal democracy. While in Czech republic, transition took merely two weeks which is considered to be "hectic" type of transition. Based on the thesis, hectic transition had an influence on quick legislative changes enacting administrative lustration, while Polish progressive transition (and therefore strong necessity to cooperate for longer period of time with communist leaders) caused delay of administrative lustration. Hectic...

To modelling of phenomenons of internal dynamics of systems with strong non-analytical nonlinearities
Škuderová, Alena
The creation of model of two spur gears with elastic supports so, in order that to waht mostly approximate real fact, was the aim of this work. This model considers the influence of motion in bearings not only at direction of line of mesh, but and at al direction, the damping and periodically variable stiffness into the gear mesh, frictional forces, possibly eccentricity of gears or manufacturing inaccuracy of teeth profile and influences of impacts, caused by existence of backlash.

Determination of active substances in lubricant gel using gas chromatography.
Ryšavá, Pavlína ; Matysová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Šatínský, Dalibor (referee)
This thesis deals with the topic The determination of content substances in lubrication gel by method of gas chromatography and with lubrication gel Tea Tree Fantasy, which includes natural substance of tea tree oil. Tea tree oil has strong antiseptic, antimycotic and antifungal effects, and the terpinene-4-ol is its important germicidal component. This thesis is divided into eight chapters; its main part consists of chapters 3 - 6. The third chapter deals with the theoretical part, where the gas chromatography is described. This method is suitable for determination of terpinene-4-ol in lubrication gel. This chapter also deals with the validation of analytical method and with individual parameters and contains the characteristics of lubrication gel, tea tree oil and terpinene-4- ol. In the fourth chapter, there are worked out the search of used methods. The fifth chapter deals with the experimental part; all chemicals, instruments and conditions of isolation are written down there. The sixth chapter describes results and discussion from the development of analytical method, from the system suitability test and from the validation. The main goal of this thesis is the validation of gas chromatography method for the determination terpinene-4-ol in lubrication gel.

Economic Aspects of Education at Language Schools in the Czech Republic
Dvořáková, Miroslava ; Šrédl, Karel (advisor) ; Hana, Hana (referee)
The Master´s thesis is focused on financial sources invested in education at language schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part gathers data associated with the topic and is based primarily on the specialized literature. From the characterization of linguistic companies, it is obvious that this type can be described as a non-formal type of education. According to the international classification it belongs to the post-secondary non-tertiary education. Information obtained in the theoretical part will be important for the analytical part of the thesis. The practical section describes mostly language schools, analyses their offer of linguistic classes for public in detail. Both economic and non-economic criteria will be analysed and compared. The conclusion of the thesis presents evaluation of the previous parts. It is clear that the competition in the particular market is strong, and therefore it is necessary for every company to strive for some kind of competitive advantage. Regarding the choice of a suitable linguistic course from the point of view of a student, we suggest several factors that one should consider. Generally, it has been proven that investment in any kind of education is always considered a good investment.

Enantioseparations of drugs and catalysts by partial-filling affinity capillary electrophoresis using helquats as chiral selectors
Růžička, Martin ; Koval, Dušan ; Vávra, Jan ; Reyes Gutierrez, Paul Eduardo ; Teplý, Filip ; Kašička, Václav
Noncovalent molecular interactions between helquats, a new class of dicationic helical extended diquats and selected commonly used negatively charged chiral drugs and catalysts have been investigated using partial-filling affinity capillary electrophoresis (PF-ACE). Three types of interactions of analytes with helquats were observed: (1) medium strong enantioselective interactions, (2) medium strong non-enantioselective interactions and (3) no or very weak non-enantioselective interactions.
