Optimum currency area - reality in eurozone
Hanousek, Karel ; Žamberský, Pavel (advisor) ; Machytka, Daniel (referee)
My bachelor paper deals with a question, if the European monetary union follows the Optimum Currency Theory's criteria and forms an optimum area. I tried to assess, whether benefits of forming this integration in Europe outweigh costs or not. First part of this paper describes evaluation of this theory. Not only did I mention most widely known criteria such as Mundell's, Mckinnon's, Kenen's, but I also mentioned some others, which were defined during last few decades. In the second part, I analysed data and tried to find out to what degree the criteria are fulfilled. On the basis of this analysis I can say, that the European optimum union does not form an optimum currency area.

Nutrition problem usage for horse feed ration production
Králová, Eliška ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (advisor) ; Šindelářová, Irena (referee)
Concern of this bachelor's thesis is to optimize the contents of the daily feed ration for horses, which must meet their nutritional requirements. The first chapter is devoted to the theory of decision problems using linear programming. In the list of typical linear problems there is a closer specification of the nutritional problem, description of its use and a brief mention of its history. Next part deals with horse nutrition, which includes the requirements of the nutrient content of daily ration and the information about basic feed. Then the practical assignment is defined, which is essential for formulating economical and mathematical model, solved using Solver tool in Microsoft Excel. After interpreting the results, the model is extended with new constraints and recalculated. Outcome of this work is the optimal solution for two models that meet the intended objective -- to help the breeder with creating a nutritionally balanced feed ration for horses and minimizing the costs.

Theory and Practice of Management of Personal Finances in the Czech Republic
Spilka, Jan ; Votava, Libor (advisor) ; Zámečník, Petr (referee)
The topic of this thesis is personal and family finance. At the time of extensive government austerity measures, uncertainty of countries' future, or even international companies, and on the other side the ever bigger influence of advertisement and consumer culture, its importance grows with each year. The main goal of this thesis is to confirm or disprove the hypothesis that presumes the following: although people think they are handling their personal finance right, they often make typical wrong decisions. Part of the theory is a survey dealing with financial literacy of Czechs that support a theory that they have considerable gaps in managing their finances. Further on, the thesis engages in possibilities on how to eliminate these gaps. Doing this, the author perceives the family, or individual, as a parallel to a company, while their finances management makes parallel to the company's accounting. It also briefly deals with why these mistakes are present, using behavioral economics as a tool for explanation. The theoretical part presents possibilities and products that are to find at a usual economy subject on the market to those willing to evaluate their finances. The practical part is looking for answer to question what the most frequent mistakes are. The author then chooses the one he considers the most significant, namely the absence of planning. It then tries to prove, that elimination of this mistake leads to considerable improvements and optimization in managing finances.

BANK REGULATION FOCUSED ON ENTRY TO THE MARKET
Marková, Lenka ; Mach, Petr (advisor) ; Chytilová, Helena (referee)
Nowadays, the banking is considered one of the most regulated branches of economy. So I decided to write about this kind of regulation. Because this topic is very waste, I will focus primarily on barriers to entry -- the licensing. First of all I will describe the theory of the banking regulation, its objectives and system. And then I will clear out the problematic of licensing in Czech conditions. That means, I will explain how fulfill the requirements so bank obtain this license. Without license the subject can't be considered as a bank. Then will follow the arguments that explain why the entry to this segment is so guarded and regulated. We have to consider also the opposite side of this problematic, because there are opponents of the bank regulation. They criticize the current state in the banking. Their opinions point out the imperfections of the bank regulation and its possible consequences. They will be explained in the rest of the paper.

Dáňová, Lucie ; Hůrka, Petr (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
Liability in Labour Law Summary Liability represents one of basic legal institutes which applies in most branches of law, including labour law. However, employment relations have several distinctive features which are also reflected in the conception of lability. Since the consequences of violation of law can substantially affect the position of violator, it is necessary to be aware of one's duties and a possible occurrence of lability. The aim of my thesis is to analyze liability in labour law according to the legislation in force. Liability in labour law is not only a theoretical concept but it also has practical impacts on both subjects of employment relation, therefore it is desirable to have knowledge of this institute. Since liability denotes one of the most complicated institutes in law it is, at first, essential to explain the concept of liability in general. Legal theory construes liability in several different ways and it is interesting to mention opinions of various theorists. The next chapter characterises the concept of liability in labour law and describes its main features. The following chapter deals with division of liability in labour law into several kinds from different points of view. The thesis focuses on liability for damage because of its importance in labour law itself. Chapter five...

This succinct legal form of the law of the marital property does not cover all situations in which the spouses could found themselves during their life together entirely. However the legal form of the Civil code in this matters is supplemented by the extensive judicial practices of the courts and by the juristic theory, which enhance it substantially. As a theme of my thesis I chose the contracting modification of the community of property of spouses. Directly according to the topic it is evident that I concentrated my thesis on the possibility of modifications of the community of property of spouses in a different way from the regulations of the Civil Code. The element of this thesis is an analysis and characterization of the fundamental institutes of the community of property of spouses. In my opinion there is not possible to describe...

Hodáková, Ľubica ; Munzi, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (referee)
The aim of the work was to analyze franchising from economic point of view. The content of theoretical part of the work is basic franchising terminology, historical analysis of franchising as the distribution model and entrepreneur method and subsequently the work is focused on micro economical and macro economical analysis of franchising. One of the theoretical aims of the work was to clarify relationship of franchising and others distribution models. Franchising is interesting issue from legal point of view as well, because franchising contract is not contained in commercial code as a special contractual type. Analysis of legal aspects of franchising was limited by the scope of the work. In practical part of the work was the aim to express positive effects of franchising on credit-crunch, development of small and medium-scale enterprises and development of municipalities in connection with "agency theory" and other aspects. The work presumes future development of franchising with respect to actual global financial crisis.

Pavlíček, Vojtěch ; Pikhart, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Strejček, Ivo (referee)
This paper attempts to define the impact of the oil price shocks on the economy. In the theory paper examines the general impact of the changes in the oil prices on the economy and the possibility of the central bank to respond to these changes, which proves to be quite difficult due to the time lag in the effectiveness of monetary policy. The practical part includes, inter alia, the development of the oil shocks of the 70s, with a focus on the latest crisis of 2014 the economy of the United States and Venezuela. In the US case is detected dual impact. Despite the negative impact on the individual segments of the economy, however, it can be argued that the low price of oil for the US is positive stimulus. On the contrary, the Venezuelan economy is experiencing within the low prices as export economy clearly negative shock, which uncovered nonfunctional economic system.
