This diploma thesis is focused on the environmental management system (EMS). The company can benefit from this system, eg. competition advantage and image increase. The aim of my work is to describe and evaluate two systems of environmental management in Logica CEE company - one is already set up in the Czech Republic and the second one is being established in Slovakia recently. I would like to determine the benefits and impacts of these systems. In practical part of the diploma thesis I describe the complex system implementation and its certification and re-certification.

Impact of tax policy on the economy

The topic of my thesis is the impact of tax policy on the economy. My aim is to show the influence of different tax policies on the macroeconomic indicators. The 1st part of the thesis describes 2 different tax systems currently used in Europe. Second part deals with tax competition and harmonization, the topic is looked at from both practical and theoretical points of view. There is a description of the established laws, those aiming at tax harmonization. The theoretical part deals with positive and negative approaches to these particular points at issue. The current tax situation in Europe is depicted in this part showing tax laws both those already coordinated and those that are in the process of stagnation. The third part is analysis of tax policy impact on the economic growth, economic standard and employment figures. Taken into account are various approaches to taxation and their impact on macroeconomics indicators.

Deferred tax in Czech Republic

This Bachelor Paper describes the deferred tax topic in the Czech Republic. It explains the deferred tax category, the theoretical fundamentals of its establishment, the methodology and the possible approaches to its calculation. The Paper determines subjects obligatory to apply this item in the Czech Republic. It also describes the accounting treatments and the system of reporting. The last part focuses on each of the temporary differences that results in the deferred tax. The Paper contains a variety of practical examples that help to understand this complex topic.

Individual Fundraising with a Focus on One of its Methods - Donors Club.

This master's thesis is concerned with individual fundraising as implemented in the Czech non-profit organizations as well as with the limits and difficulties it faces in the Czech context. It focuses on the specific fundraising methods and their effectivity with respect to an individual as the target group. The donors club, which is introduced as a complex and consistent care of donors, is one of the means of individual fundraising. It also provides the case studies of those organizations where donors clubs are operated.

The impact of the cartographic method on students' map skills level

The presented diploma thesis focuses on the map skills' problematic, which is currently becoming widespread in the Czech research environment. In contrast to the previous empirical studies, this thesis is devoted to the thematic map skills and their level of development among students of grammar schools and geographically oriented branches of university studies. Due to the significant differences between used cartographic methods of visualization on thematic maps the main aim of this diploma thesis is to identify and explain used cartographic method's influence on the level of these important skills. To achieve this aim, it was necessary to focus on different parts of the curriculum (intended, implemented, learned) and to use several scientific methods because this topic hasn't been well established yet and therefore only few theoretical and empirical studies dealt with this specific issue. Firstly, the review of literature focused on thematic cartography, map skills and on identifying their level of development among students was done. The cooperation of the civil sector and the public sphere in the selected area - ORP Železný Brod

The aim of this thesis is to find out if there is cooperation between civil sector and public sector in chosen locality - Železný Brod. It is target on poverty and social exclusion. This cooperation will be assessed from the perspective of chosen respondents. The theoretical part describes some models of cooperation, situation in Czech Republic, importance of nonprofit organizations focused on social services and health care. Empirical part deals with methods and techniques of data collections, data analysis techniques. Next there is justification of location and target group. In the part Results, there are presented the results of analysis examined localities and respondents' statements. There is also answer the research questions. Analysis of men and woman´s position in selected sectors of the national economy

This thesis is closely focused on gender issues in terms of employment in sectors of national economy in the Czech Republic and the Moravian-Silesian Region. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and definitions relating to gender, national economy and time series. In this work the progress of women and mens employment is monitored in Agriculture, forestry and fishing, Public administration and defense, as well as in the sector of Health and social care and Education. Predictions are made by using selected methods from the field of time series. The analysis is done on the basis of available data from the Czech Statistical Office in the period from 1993 to 2015. The final section focuses on the proposals and recommendations for future development.

Utilisation of the financial resources of European structural funds by municipality.

This thesis deals with problems of European structural funds, especially it is focused on utilisation of the financial resources of the European Social Fund from 2004 to 2006. The first part of the thesis is a theoretical view of the economics on the regional policy. Following part is a description of the structural funds system and then there is an evaluation of the effectivity of the structural funds on the base of one soft project, which was realized in the Prague by non-profit organization established by Magistrate of Prague. In conclusion I discuss advantages and disadvantages of the European structural funds.

The thesis analyzes media's ability to establish their chosen issues and thus affect the relevance of the political groups, leading to better outcomes of selected politicians in elections The thesis is based on the assumption of rational ignorance and the assumption of voters choosing between political parties that have a real chance to be elected. The hypothesis is that the very relevance of a political group is determined by media. Empirical research is based on the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic in 2013.

The role of the Labour office applying of active employment policy

This diploma thesis focuses on the role of the Labour Office in the implementation of active labour market policies. The theoretical part analyses the existing legislation and related legal regulations pertaining to the state employment policy. Next, the thesis examines the Labour Office, the European Social Fund and the individual active labour market policies. The practical part deals with the active labour market policies implemented by the Labour Offices in the Central Bohemian Region. In particular, it concentrates on the community service and suggests the best possible solution to the problem. The thesis assesses the funding of individual active labour market policies in the Central Bohemian Region in terms of efficiency. A quantitative research method using evaluation of a questionnaire survey was carried out in order to determine the success rate of monitoring when establishing cooperation between Labour Offices and employers. The conclusion of the thesis assesses the obtained results.
