Responsibility ethic in the family care
TOMKOVÁ, Hana
Also in the ancient Rome people knew that a family is the fundamental unit of society. It seems to lose family importance, also family care of the oldest relatives. Sooner the coexistence of two or three generations was common but today the specialists talk about the family deflection and about the emphasis on the individuality of the each family member. The aim of this Bachelor work is to answer the guestion how much the economics influence or reduce family care of the old, ill and disabled people. In this work the analysis of data method, the technique of secondary data analysis and the quantitative analysis with the questionnaires were adopted. The investigation proceeded by sixty employees in the Rest home in Radkova Lhota. The hypothesis was that each employee has a senior at home and take care of him / her or will take care of the senior in the future. From the result of this investigation ensued that people are mostly able to take care of an old family member even at the expense of an employment but they wouldn´t dispense with the state allowance. Now I compare a few information about the age groups. The most of the informants in the age of 18 to 25 live together with his/her potential senior in one house or a flat. They would take care of the senior themselves or with a help of their family. They didn´t deal with the question of allowance. On the other hand the generation in the age of 45 to 54 live without the senior one or more kilometres far-away. These people would take care of the senior only with a help of family members and they think that the allowance is complying. So the answer of this Bachelor work is: There is a posibility how to take care of senior when people can expect a help of family members. This is true that the community develop, the family care will not become extinct despote of the previous policy endeavour. We will hark back to it because we are the people.

Autoemisní katody pro elektronové mikroskopy
Delong, Armin ; Kolařík, V.
Field emission emitters have significantly improved the coherence of electron guns in electron microscopes and allowed to reach atomic-scale resolution in the case of crystal imaging. Even now, thirty years after the first application of field emission emitters, one can hardly say that the development of electron emitters has been finalized

V syntetické kapitole porovnám získaná data a vyvodím závěry položených hypotéz. Dále nastíním důvody akcelerující úrovně výdajů na zdravotní péči v USA a porovnám řadu ekonomických i medicínských ukazatelů s průměry zemí OECD. V závěru práce shrnu zjištěné výsledky a pokusím se nastínit optimální výši výdajů vzhledem k úrovni zdravotního stavu populace.

The study of mitochondrial biogenesis during fetal development
Pejznochová, Martina ; Zeman, Jiří (advisor) ; Hyánek, Josef (referee) ; Brdička, Radim (referee)
Postnatal adaptation of neonate to extrauterine life is among others dependent on effective mitochondrial biogenesis during fetal development. Therefore the study of mitochondrial biogenesis on molecular and biochemical level may improve the care of very premature neonates, especially critically ill premature neonates. This thesis has been worked out in The laboratory for study of mitochondrial disorders (Department of Pediatrics, 1st faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague). The thesis is based on molecular genetic analyses, which are focus on characterization of expression of gene involved in mitochondrial biogenesis including gene of oxidative phosphorylation system (OXPHOS) and on changes in mtDNA content during human fetal development. The results than enable : Efective analysis of the mRNA expression level by quantitative real-time PCR method in fetal tissues. Analysis of the changes in the mtDNA content in different fetal tissues To understand and to explain the tissue-specific differences in expression of the OXPHOS genes and of the genes involved in mtDNA transcription and in regulation of mtDNA content during second trimester of gestation.

Chemical constituents of stems and leaves of Vaccinium myrtillus
Hybelbauerová, Simona ; Koutek, Bohumír (advisor) ; Klinot, Jiří (referee) ; Potáček, Milan (referee) ; Šmidrkal, Jan (referee)
1. Introduction The study of natural compounds is a tÍaditional part of organic chemistry with rich history. The development of the isolation methods like chromatography and spectral methods enables studying of these compounds in viable organisms more in detail. The new techniques for very fast assesment ofbiological activity allow targeted searching for biological active compounds. The extract from plants is only roughly sepaÍated and the biological activity is meassured often against many viruses, microorganisms and types of cancer. The fractions with interesting results are searched further until the compounds responsible for the biological activity are found. Because of the high content of anthocyanines and flavonoids in fruits of Vaccinium myrtillus, there is a big interest in the study ofthese compounds and study of their effect on human health. The extracts not only from the fruits but also from the leaves are part of folk medicine and classic health care in treatment of the inflammatory diseases. The biological activity ofthe extracts is caused not only by flavonoids but also by isoprenoid compounds such as oleanolic acid, which is often talked about without any scientific proof. Publications involving natural compounds are usually only about one type of compounds - anthocyanines, flavonoids,...

The estimated development of demand for senior care in the Czech Republic
Chýlová, Markéta ; Kučera, Tomáš (referee) ; Burcin, Boris (advisor)
This diploma thesis presents an estimation of the population of dependents aged 65 years and older and of nursing home residents of the same age group up to the year 2035. Dependency is defined according to the social services law of 2006 as the entitlement to a cash allowance designated for social care. Data on beneficiaries of the cash allowance were employed to estimate the future population of dependents and nursing home users. Three variants of calculations were made. They differ in the assumption about the development of dependency in the future. A sample survey was carried out to find out the age and gender structure of the nursing home population and information gained was also used to estimate the future number of nursing homes' users. The initial chapters are devoted to demographic ageing, the system of social services and the most commonly used social services by seniors. One chapter presents important features that influence demand for social services (health status, marital status, educational level and informal care). Another chapter analyses data on cash allowances provided by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
