Tools for PHP CMS extension development
Schmied, Martin ; Hazucha, Andrej (advisor) ; Mittner, Jan (referee)
This thesis seeks to improve the development process of open source content management system extensions with particular focus on functional extensions of Joomla CMS. It starts by analyzing current open source CMS market to conclude that most of it is dominated by systems implemented in the PHP programming language. Standard tools used throughout the PHP development process are then analyzed to show that fully-featured integrated development environments are not used as often as with compiled languages. It's shown, however, that modern open source IDEs can deliver performance gains even when used for development in a scripting language. The focus is then shifted from general purpose PHP development to the specifics of CMS extension development. Three major open source systems (WordPress, Drupal and Joomla) are presented with focus on their extensibility. It's demonstrated that some features of Joomla's module system, which are not present in the other systems in comparison, are making it much harder to establish an efficient development workflow that would take full advantage of an IDE. Two recommended workflows for Joomla extension development are then presented while pointing out their disadvantages. Based on this analysis, a new development workflow is designed incorporating yet-to-be-developed functional extensions of Eclipse IDE to solve the problems. The Eclipse platform is then described, pointing out some key technologies used to implement these functional extensions. Finally, major components of the implementation are described.

Nop, Michal ; Tichý, Luboš (advisor) ; Král, Richard (referee)
E-procurement in the Member States of the European Union This paper aims to systemise data of e-procurement with regard to the legal rules in the Member States of the Eumpean Union, eSpecially in the Czech Republic. The objective of this thesis is to provide a comparison of the situation in public procurement across and within the Member States. In the EU, there were adopted new Procurement Directives, 2004/ l 7/EC and 2004/18/EC, in April 2004. Member States were required to implement the new legal framework by 31 January 2006, but slippages were not excluded. Early adoption of the new e-procurement provisions is essential to avoid barriers to and distortion of competition. The Directives provide a coherent framework for conducting procurement electronically in an Open, transparent and non-discriminatory way, establish rules for tendering electronically and fix the conditions for modern purchasing techniques based on electronic means of communication. The implementation of Directives' provisions on a dynamic purchasing system and e-auctions is optional. However, most of the Member States have introduced these procurement procedures. If not all Member States implemented electronic procedures, the differences between them could cause problems. Such a situation is not favourable for the deveIOpment of the...

Villalobos, Manuel ; Franková, Martina (advisor) ; Damohorský, Milan (referee)
ENGLISH SUMMARY This thesis, called "Environmental Principles and Their Application in International, European Community and Czech Law", discusses five selected environmental principles. This work only contains a narrow selection of fundamental environmental principles, considering the relatively large number of conservation principles that have been formulated to date. It deals with principles that we can find, either explicitly or implicitly, at all the named levels of law (i.e. International, European Community and Czech) on a regular basis and that are well established in legal theory at the same time. In the opening part of the thesis (i.e. second chapter) the matter has been explored from the legally-theoretical point of view. The introduction is dedicated to a general interpretation of the concept of "principle" as well as its definition purely within the legal field. Legal principles are defined here as leading ideas of law presenting essential values which are the general objectives of legal regulations. Fundamental attributes common to all legal principles can also be found in this part, as well as clarification of the principles' significance for law. In order to understand them better, the author also concentrates on the typology of principles. The purpose of the first part is to acquaint the...

Finding of students´ motivation
KŮSOVÁ, Markéta
This disertation includes two parts. In the first part, terms that are frequently used in the subject of motivation at school, are specified. In the second part of this disertation the development and characteristics of the On-line motivation questionnaire by Boekaerts are introduced. We agree with Boekaerts that the best way, how to establish the feelings of students, is to give them familiar activities and ask them to give information about their cognitions and feelings during their work on the task. The studies support the conclusion that the On-line motivation questionnaire is an experience-sampling method that can reliably find out students´ cognitions and feelings in relation to specific learning task, without disturbing the student´s attention to the task. The On-line motivation questionnaire can open new ways how to study motivation in the classroom. This questionnaire can play a significant role in gaining information about the various reasons, why the students do not want to invest effort to the task in the classroom. The On-line motivation questionnaire can also provide information about the effects that influence the student´s feelings, their engagement in the task and wellbeing in the classroom. According to submission, the czech version of the On-line motivation questionnaire is ready for testing in our conditions

Jirmanová, Miroslava ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Dolanská Bányaiová, Lucie (referee) ; Zavadilová, Marta (referee)
Since the late 20th century there has been an increase migration in of people due to the development of new technologies, easier ways of travel and the opening of national borders. People travel abroad for jobs, studies, or exploring new countries. During these travels some of them find life partners abroad, settle down there, conclude marriages and establish families. It often happens that such marriages end in divorce. If children are born in such a wedlock questions arise as to who will take care of them, who will pay maintenance etc. In some cases a parent decides to solve a conflict situation in such a way that he/she moves with the child without consent of the other parent to another place within the country or he/she decides to move to another country, usually to the country of his/her origin. He/she wants to settle there with the child and to legalize staying there. Such removal where national borders are crossed is considered to be international child abduction. The basic document dealing with the issue of international child abductions is the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction (hereinafter the Hague Convention) adopted on 25 October 1980 and currently acceded to by 87 states. The Hague Convention establishes rules according to which cases of...

Right of establishment in international private law
Štaňko, Andrej ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Brodec, Jan (referee)
Right of establishment in International Private Law Private companies act in the international context more intensively than any time before. There are many ways how to act on the international market. One solution is to establish a branch or a representation office instead of establishing a brand new company. The right to act in the international context using branch companies and transfer of seat is known as the freedom of establishment. The thesis covers main issues concerning the freedom of establishment and also discusses the case law issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union. The comparative view of the seat and incorporation principles is used in the thesis. With a greater detail to the Czech law, the issue of the foreign companies' recognition is discussed. The Czech law recognizes foreign companies even in the form in which it is no longer possible to establish new company in the Czech Republic. In this regard basic elements of the bare trust are discussed. The case law of the the Court of Justice of the European Communities opened Europe's corporate space and allowed the competition between the national jurisdictions to begin. Author compares situation arised on the European market with the situation in the US. As an evidence of the distinction between different US states'...
