Islamic fundamentalism and its role in the contemporary world

This theses presents the differences between islamic fundamentalism and its offshoots - islamism and extremism and maintains the so-called three-level scheme. Which says that the fundamentalism is foundation of all movement, the second stage consists of islamism, which seeks to enforce Islamic law in the world and the last stage is extremism. The theses also discusses the comparison of information that provide selected media about concrete acts connected with islamic fundamentalism.

The Cost analysis of the modern way of Punishing

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to compare the cost effectiveness of an imprisonment and a fine. Firstly, the thesis explores the theoretical view of economics, economic calculation, and the view of criminology and penology. Further, the thesis quantifies costs of the most important factors: the cost of realization of punishment, the cost of limitation of economic activity of individuals, the cost of change of health, and a cost of effect on prevention and protection. Lastly, the thesis gives suggestion on convinience of various types of punishment for different types of offences.

The principles doctrine by Philolaus of Croton and pythagoreanism in 5. cent. B.C.

This work devotes itself to the principles doctrine by Philolaus of Croton and to the doctrine by Pythagoreans who are mentioned in Aristotle's treatises. The object of this work is to examine the principles doctrine by Philolaus of Croton and to point out what kind of principles he described and the status they had in the context of cosmological doctrines of other presocratic philosophers. The objective of this research refferies to Pythagorean principles doctrine. The fragments Philolaus of Croton constitute essential opposites to limiters and unlimiteds principles, these opposites constitute order of nature. The element of their unification is a principle of the cosmic harmony. Numbers in this principles doctrine represent particular part of cosmological investigation with their help the knowledge determinates things in the world and the cosmos as whole. The distinction of partial points of Pythagorean principles doctrine in Aristotle's reports establishes a number as an essential cosmological principle. His relationship to the principle of number to the whole cosmos and to everything in it is determined by the help of Pythagorean number combinatory, which is established on the basis of likeness between qualities of phenomenal things and a number figures. The bachelor thesis targets the area of the innovations and the innovative policy. It defines these terms. The example of the state, on which the thesis shows the different kinds of support and describes the innovative policy, is France. The thesis analyses the recent posture of the innovative policy of the state, it analyses the influence on its whole economic development, its balance of trade and payments and compares the support of the research and the development with the world.

The bachelor thesis deals with direct selling as an effective channel for offering goods and services to customers. It defines the term direct selling and its types. Further, it describes the advantages of direct selling for customers, for distributors and for companies that conduct this type of offer. It also mentions various organisations that associate direct sellers all over the world. The practical part of this bachelor thesis informs about the result of a research, which was carried out in co-operation with a company Lux (CZ) s.r.o. The research analyses its distributors and customers.

The work is divided into four chapters. The first one is dedicated to the phenomenon of globalization as whole. The explanation of this term, what it causes, trends and influence on the world economy. The second chapter aims at the automotive industry, then at the influence of globalization in this branch of industry and contemporary trends. The third chapter examines the influence of globalization on the Czech automotive industry both from public and private points of view. The last part narrates about the global economic crisis, about its influence on the worlds and Czech automotive industry and the risks and problems coming with it.

The purpose of the thesis is to analyze the importance of leasing in the frame of international business, compare its role in different economies and present its possible future evolution as a method of assets acquiring also with respect to the impacts of the economic crisis. In the thesis, the leasing is presented from different aspects and its historical evolution is mentioned. In the practical part of the work, evolution on leasing markets in selected geographical areas is described on basis of which the role of leasing in international business in different parts of the world is analyzed.

This diploma thesis focuses on free content licenses used on internet and on extending of options which provides the classical copyright protection. It compares various kinds of licenses, their advantages in actual usage and at the same time disadvantages of specific licenses when using for particular works. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the usage of specific licenses which are used for freely provided content and possibly to extend the version of these licenses to such, which would better reflex to the needs of current trends. Another objective is to evaluate current state of the use of licences on the Czech internet and to compare it to the world trends.
