Rhymomat
Vytisková, Zuzana ; Bojar, Ondřej (advisor) ; Spousta, Miroslav (referee)
This thesis studies the possibilities of transformation of standard Czech text to a rhymmed form including design and implementation of a program for this transformation. The program uses the following oportunities: substitution of a word by its synonym, insertion of a word and ommitting of a world. The tesis also proposes an automatic measure for selecting the best rhymmed version and a comparison of this metric with human judgement. The first part of this thesis describes literal-theoretic concepts and their representation. The key algorithm of rhymming in three phases is described in the next chapter. These three phases are progressively solving rhymming, keeping the number of syllabls in a verse and distribution of word stresses in a verse, which allows both syllabic and syllabotonic approach, optionally with rhymming or without it. The thesis continues by a description of the metric and its experimental certification including a discussion of possible extensions of methods of the transformation. The work contains a programming and user documentation for the implemented program too.

The aim of this work was to identify the most frequent proofs of psychosomatic loads of nurses in the operating theatre. The aim was fulfilled. Two hypotheses were set. Hypothesis number 1 confirms that the most frequent proof of somatic load of the nurses in the operating theatre is backache problem. Hypothesis number 2 confirms that the most frequent proof of psychic load of nurses in the operating theatre is stress. The results also show that the theme of somatic and psychic load of peri-operative nurses is an up-to-date topic which is necessary to inform about. Procházka, Jakub ; Soukup, Ladislav (referee) ; Kindl, Vladimír (advisor)
Conclusion Reception and adoption of the Austria-Hungary legal order was agreed on by the politicians of the newly formed Czechoslovakia, which meant that the legal system of its state predecessor was used. The important reason for adopting this procedure and not forming a brand new legal order from the start was ensuring legal continuity, which was essential for the new state. The process could not take several years, but the system had to operate and come into force almost immediately. Only subsequently new legal regulations were to be formed and added to the adopted legal system and these regulations were supposed to reflect the situation in the state and society. After formation of the new state, it was necessary to immediately deal with the situations, which were created by adopting certain legal regulations, in which some institutions were mentioned, but these did not exist yet in the newly formed state. It concerned mainly the Supreme Court, which was established by the law 5/1918 Col. and Supreme Administrative Court established by the law 3/1918 Col. Adoption of the legal order was accompanied by adoption of the judiciary system, which smoothly followed the former organisation of the system of courts and continued with its work. The basic of the system remained District Courts, which were...

Research workers started to investigate traffic flows already in thirtieth years of twentieth century. But it is true that in these times was minimal the number of vehicles on roads. However, at the end of fifties this number started to increase. So according to this it was necessary to find sophistry tools to their monitoring. More engineers interested in the theory of traffic flow and they started to describe interactions between vehicles through new theories and models. Nowadays, this work continues, because the number of vehicles on roads is still increasing. A Search for Common Ground - Disparity With & Within the Arab League
Crisp, Daniel ; Riegl, Martin (advisor) ; Hrishabh, Sandilya (referee)
The Arab League is an International Organization that is not unifying the Arab Community. There are many reasons for this. It has many incongruences in what is necessary to have a unified and successful regional body. Some are infrastructural, some are cultural, some are behavioral, and some are a combination. Most notably the lack of commonality is a key issue especially in the face of a proclaimed Arab identity. That problem is further exacerbated by the polemic rather than academic nature of discourse on Arabism, Islam and the region. Another key problem faced in the region is the multitude of wars. The many wars have created instability, chaos, and an inability to move forward in the region often due to their cyclical nature. There is nothing uniting the region as a whole, although arab and islamic movements have tried. Nationalism has prevailed as the cohesive unit in the region. In that regard, the nation is the only structure in place to deal with the many crises that the region continues to face. There is no umma and what is more there is no concrete arab identity, it is only based on history. Though there are societal customs and institutions inherited from that history, one of which is the emphasis on honor over acquisition (though not absolute in the region). This makes the pursuit of a union of...

Strana 63 z 64 End of Treatment Decision Making Legal Aspects (Summary) Thesis is focused on end of treatment decision making and its legal aspects. Author tries to explain some of the most important terms used in medical law conceptions in Czech Republic. inion. The first chapter is mostly about general definitions, such as what is medical law what im- pact it has in Czech legal system and how it is r procedure in this efore author tries to find such definition in decisions of the Highest Court of Czech Republic and literature. While thinking about this topic, it is necessary to keep in mind problems with pro- fessional guidelines. The second chapter continues with general definitions. But in this case, the whole chapter is only about one term, which is considered to be crucial. The explanation of treatment itself is necessary for defining the very moment of beginning and ending of treatment. Author uses civil law to find subjects and object of this legal relation and then tries to use them to demon- strate differences between treatment and other civil legal relations. The third chapter follows the moment of beginning of treatment. If we want to examine end of treatment decision making, we must know when it ends. And for its end we have to know when, how and why it begins. This chapter compares Czech legal...

"Non-sociology": Bruno Latour's conception of modernity
Mareš, Jakub ; Šubrt, Jiří (advisor) ; Pauza, Miroslav (referee)
This thesis called "»Non-sociology«: Bruno Latour's Conception of Modernity" is a theoretical writing concerned with description of the conception of modernity of the French sociologist, philosopher and anthropologist Bruno Latour. This description is put into broader context of Latour's work and serves as a basis for asking questions and raising challenges to the social theory, politics and ethics. Because Latour's conception of modernity isn't compatible with the idea of society as an aggregate of human actors and stresses the importance of so called nonhuman actors, special attention is devoted to Latour's interest in sciences and technologies, where these non-human actors originate. These non-human actors have significant roles and functions in sstabilization of social relations and dominance. Thus, the concepts Latour and his colleagues use to integrate nonhumans into social theory are introduced, most notably the actor-network theory. Finally, modernity is presented as a self-describing semantics, which relies on two distinct aggregates of Society and Nature without giving proper notice to the continuous and progressively growing mixing of human and nonhuman entities. An alternative, under the concept of collective, is introduced.
