Determination of heparine by SIA with spectrofluorimetric detection
Bár, Ladislav ; Rychlovský, Petr (advisor) ; Nesměrák, Karel (referee)
This thesis was focused on a determination of heparin using sequential injection analysis with spectrofluorimetric and spectrophotometric detection. The principle of determination was based on the interaction of heparin with phenothiazine dye. A decrease of fluorescence intensity of dye in its emission maximum was detected. In the case of spectrophotometric detection a decrease of the absorbance of dye was measured. Azure A, azure B and methylene blue were used as representantive selection of phenothiazine dyes. The determination was performed on a laboratory made SIA apparatus, for which a control software in LabVIEW 7.1 graphical programming was created. Two types of flow configuration for spectrofluorimetric detection were implemented. Type 1: For deionized water as a carrier stream with a injection of heparin and dye zones there were found the following optimal conditions: cdye = 1×10-5 mol dm-3 ; vflow = 2500 µl min-1 ; reaction coil length of 0 cm; injected volume of dye 150 µl and injected volume of sample 150 µl. Dynamic range of calibration curves with an exponential course for the individual dyes in the range of LOQ - 1200, eventually up 1500 IU dm-3 were detected. Limits of detection between 7.6 - 39.1 and the limits of quantification between 58.8 - 124.5 IU dm-3 were found. Type 2: For...

Practical aspects of universal protocol for wrong site surgery prevention in Czech Republic
Hoplíček, Jan ; Marx, David (advisor)
During my studies at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine with the passing of my semesters and internships in clinical workplaces are increasingly inclined to surgical fields. Each medichappens in the course of study the question of who will choose the field for his and he will continue to pursue in clinical practice. So as I chose. I decided to start the surgical disciplines. When I was in the classroom in recent years met with the theme of prevention of harm to patientsin surgery, I began to interest in this issue. The motive for me personally was quiteinterested to find out how can prevent the coming to my practice because of my mistakeswas shorter than I would have liked. by I started about the possibility of prevention of damage to the patient's interest in surgery, I answer a number of issues that would certainly meet later in my upcomingpractice. selection of Master work on this topic is a logical result of my interest in this issue.

The Practice of Sky Burials in Tibet
Brzoňová, Monika ; Komárek, Stanislav (advisor) ; Berounský, Daniel (referee)
Sky burial is a common funeral practice in Tibet. A human corpse is cut into small pieces and placed on a mountaintop (called durtro), exposing it to the elements and animals - especially to birds of prey. In Tibetan the practice is known as jhator (Tibetan bya gtor), which literally means "giving alms to the gods". As the name implies, jhator is considered an act of generosity: the deceased and his/her surviving relatives are providing food to sustain living beings. Because the majority of Tibetans adhere to Buddhism, which teaches reincarnation, generosity and compassion for all beings are important virtues or paramita in Buddhism. So the function of the sky burial is simply the disposal of the remains. In much of Tibet the ground is too hard and rocky to dig a grave, and with fuel and timber scarce, a sky burial is often more practical than cremation. This graduation theses enlarge about this ritual in all his connotation, i.e. historical, religious, culturology and philosophical meanings. It also enlighten about Tibetan approach to the death and funeral services in Tibet. The primal problem is the phenomena of sky burial and it's course, sense and other overlaps (like astrology, medicine, ethics, enviromentalism, iconography and so on).

In vitro phytoextraction of non-steroidal antirheumatics
Houdková, Barbora ; Břichnáčová Habartová, Věra (referee) ; Smrček, Stanislav (advisor)
The most important question in the environmental research is presently the occurrence of the residues of pharmaceutical substances in ecosystem. These residues of drugs and their metabolites are entering our ecosystem by sewage water and lot of them are considered to be endocrine disruptors. The rhizofiltration is a possible method for the removal of this contamination. This work has researched the posibility of the phytoextraction of massively used non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) like diclofenac, naproxen and ibuprofen by Helianthus annus, Zea mays and Pisum sativum plants. The course of the phytoextraction of these substance in in vitro sterile model was compared to the extraction of their mixtures and we proved the reciprocal influence of these substance to the root systém. The presence of diclofenac or ibuprofen in Helianthus annuus plants increased the extraction of naproxen from the cultivation medium, whereas ibuprofen and diclofenac mutually decreased the phytoextraction efficiency. The experiments with Zea mays showed inhibitive trends whereas the experiments with Pisum sativum showed no influence in extraction of the mixture in comparison to the trials with only one substance. The mutual influence of the extraction efficiency of the solution with more substance is probably...

At the same time this work is trying to highlight the latest changes that have occurred in connection with transposition of the Directive Nr. 2007/36/EC of 11 July 2007 "on the exercise of certain rights of shareholders in listed companies" in our legal system. The structure of this work is conceived from the perspective of the course of the General Meeting, where individual chapters are arranged chronologically. The only exceptions are the last two chapters dealing with the rights of shareholders in General Meeting and the decision of the sole shareholder in the scope of the General Meeting. Although the first of these chapters relates to the previous, I consider it necessary, to summarize the rights of shareholders at a General Meeting within a single chapter, and to provide a comprehensive picture of the rights that are given to the...

Web Analytics: Identification of new trends
Slavík, Michal ; Kliegr, Tomáš (advisor) ; Nekvasil, Marek (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to identify the main trends in the field of tools used to analyse web traffic. The necessary theoretical background is extracted from relevant literature and field research is chosen to gain knowledge of practitioners. Following trends have been identified: a growth in demand for Web Analytics software, an increasing interest in Web Analytics courses, an enlargment of measuring Web 2.0 and social networks, use of semantic information as the most fruitful section of academic research. The thesis also presents the main techniques of Web Usage Mining: association rules, sequential patterns, and clustering. A section about query categorization is also included. According to the field research, practitioners express most interest in clustering. The first two chapters present Web Analytics in general and introduce the main aspects of current applications. The third chapter covers theoretical research, the fifth one presents results of the field research. The fourth chapter raises the point that terminology of Web Analytics is not unified.

Šimpachová, Iveta ; Šotolová, Jovanka (advisor) ; Brunel, Aude (referee)
The Master's thesis provides an analytic overview of translated dramatic texts from French to Czech after 1989. It focuses on the proportional representation of contemporary plays as well as on translators' work. The first part of the thesis gives a brief idea of contemporary French dramatic art and points out different expectations of French theatre spectators and readers in comparaison with the Czech ones. Subsequently, the specificity of drama translation and the role of translator in drama translation process is clarified according to existing theories. The main part focuses on analysis of list of the Czech translations created between 1990 and 2015 that are available to the public. As expected, drama publishing shows marginal and decreasing tendency and the majority of published authors are represented by classics. In general, contemporary texts prevail among theatre agency translations, most of which are represented by comedy plays. However individual efforts and projects help to broaden the image of French contemporary drama. Individual interviews with translators and publishers enrich the analysis with experience from professional practice. Key words: contemporary French drama, drama translation, dramatic text, role of translator, sociology of translation, translation production, drama...
