Institute "Debtor-in-possession financing" in insolvency proceedings
Zahradníková, Lenka ; Schönfeld, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Smrčka, Luboš (referee)
The Master's Thesis is focused on the problem of securing an operational cash flow for maintaining entrepreneurship activities of organizations that enter into insolvency proceedings because of their insolvency or excessive indebtedness. This issue is addressed by the insolvency law through a new institute of debtor-in-possession financing which is a part of the main purpose of this law to assist companies that have a certain economic potential to create value added in the future prospect. The issue is with obtaining such post-petition financing because there is not many banking or non-banking institutions that would provide this high-risk financing. From the above-mentioned reason, an idea has been developed with the cooperation of Česká Spořitelna a.s. to create a new credit product provided by the banking institution for the Czech financial market. The assessment of rationality, effectiveness, and recoverability, as well as the proposal of standards and requirements for completion of contracts and their structure about debtor-in-possession financing are compiled in the Master's Thesis.

Institutions of the EU - development, transformation, difficulty
Pavlík, Jaroslav ; Jeníček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Tunkrová, Věra (referee)
This diploma thesis seeks to summarize the institutional development taken by the European Union so far (with a particular view to the changes brought about by the Treaty of Lisbon), and, based on this, to provide an assessment of the direction into which the European Union is headed at the beginning of this decade. Within this context, my thesis attempts to outline the various alternative scenarios for the future development of the EU's institutional framework; the likely candidates, to put it simply, are, on the one hand, even deeper integration in the form of a fiscal and political union, or, conversely, the abandonment of the idea of closer cooperation. Since the beginnings of the 1950s, the European Communities and, later, the European Union have been developing towards ever-increasing integration. Even today, one observes obvious tendencies towards intensifying this integration. However, this does not allow for the unambiguous conclusion that the European Union must result in the creation of a fiscal and political union. It is perfectly conceivable that the elected political representatives of individual member states may assume the opposite view, and that tendencies will prevail within the European Union towards a more informal collaboration among separate countries. The present work also attempts a comparison of the views held by politicians, political scientists, analysts, and intellectuals. One finds that even these authors do not arrive at clear-cut conclusions, nor should one expect them to be able to make such conclusions. This thesis draws attention to a number of contradictory aspects - chiefly among them the violation of the Maastricht criteria, and the obvious breach of Article 125 of the Treaty of Lisbon, which prohibits mutual financial assistance.

JÍLKOVÁ, Veronika
Medical workers, patients and family members are three groups, which often meet in demanding and critical situations, which they tend to experience in different ways. That is why the inforamtion leak may occur and also the basic conditions are not met (and this applies not only to clients, but also to specialists). Nurses should be opened to communication with family members and regularly offer them the exchange of informations. If the family comes with new ideas, we should be able to find a way to transform them into our profession. We should be able to counsel the family on where to get help or additional informations, or coordinate them. The cooperation between medical workers and family members creates the sanctuary of peace, where the patient and his family feel much better then they used to in the times, when profesionals used to be too much authoritative The subject of my bachelors work is the cooperation between nurses, family members and clients hospitalizated on the ward of internal medicine. Visual Design of Presentations: B.Baronová Alter ego, V. Klimáček Mária Sabína
Fonová, Klára ; Tománek, Alois (advisor) ; Žižka, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to confront processes of searching for the right presentation means of staging two contemporary drama pieces (Viliam Klimáček: Mária Sabína, Barbora Baronová: Alter ego). Both of the plays involve simmilar themes: namely a theme of two women, that are in principle two parts of one being, the theme of desire for a man and unfulfilled love. Both plays have mysterious atmosphere full of magic and uncanny visions. The means of visual conception were considerably determinated by the character of particular places where the performances took place: exterior atrium or intimate space of a small theatre. The process of searching for a final shape of presentations is described in this work, as well as non-realized ideas and conceptions. It compares different approach of both directors to cooperation with a scenographer. First one, less experienced in working with a scene, set a task for a stage designer and was expecting the solution. The other director was on oposit very much involved in searching for visual means. I tried to find both, positives and negatives, of those different ways of approach.

Kolínková, Tereza ; Cebe, Jan (advisor) ; Suk, Pavel (referee)
This bachelor degree thesis "Collaborating journalists in the Netherlands during and after World War II" deals with Dutch journalists and press from the beginning of the occupation in 1940 until the end of the process of press cleansing in 1950. The Dutch press was prepared to collaborate with the German occupation authorities at the beginning of the war. Journalists who decided for active cooperation were given high positions in war press organizations. A certain degree of collaboration was forced onto the majority of the journalists through mandatory membership in the Association of Dutch journalists in summer 1940, and later in the autumn of 1941 also in the Press guild of the Dutch cultural chamber. Collaboration was also encouraged by the newly founded Department of public enlightenment and arts which was striving to enforce ideas of national socialism. Almost all journalists continued to practice their profession for reasons of existence Already in 1943 the Dutch government in London exile started preparing the postwar process of society cleansing from collaborators. Zedníková, Martina ; Stará, Jana (advisor) ; Linková, Marie (referee)
My diploma paper is focused on perceiving the issue o f m arking and verbal evaluation at the prim ary schools by teachers, pupils and parents. In the theoretical part I investigated the ideas o f theorists. I concentrated on the concepts o f evaluation and assessm ent, the types and functions o f evaluation and verbal evaluation and marking. I carried out a theoretical analysis o f the advantages and disadvantages o f the exam ined forms of evaluation. The aim o f the practical part was to research and consequently estim ate the current situation, particularly to w hat extent are theorist's opinions related to / different from the school practice. I would like to em phasize that, according to my opinion, two most im portant conclusions come out of my research. None of the discussed w ays of evaluation is more convenient - the best w ould be to com bine and utilize both of them. The parents play indispensable role in the evaluation process. Their cooperation w ith the children and the school helps to shape the evaluation in the w ay that the assessm ent is created by both - the teachers and the pupils. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Do the developed countries invest more in education?
Dlabáčková, Dorota ; Urbánek, Václav (advisor) ; Kubík, Rudolf (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the concepts of human capital and investment in human capital in macroeconomic terms. In the first part, this concept is mapped by a few definitions. Then I describe the history, the emergence of the first ideas connected with human capital, main leaders and their key ideas. Investments in human capital, i.e. simply in education, is presented in the concretion. The resulting comparison is performed on the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) states. The analysis compares the investment in education and economic maturity of theindividual states. Investments in education are intended by expenditure (private and public) on education as a percentage of GDP. In the thesis, economic maturity is defined by several macroeconomic indicators, i.e. Gross Domestic Product levels(real GDP growth, GDP per capita), long-term unemployment and health care.
