Michal Kulich Ph.D. Abstract: The thesis deals with the theory of matrix algrebra, which is applicable in probability and statistics. The aim of the thesis is to summarize it in a clear and understandable way, so that the student familiar with the basics of matrix theory can expand his knowledge and use it in further studies. Therefore, the thesis contains many definitions and proved theorems, and examples to help understanding the theory. Applications are mentioned. It also provides references for further reading. The thesis begins with a brief summary of basic definitions and results in matrix algebra, which are covered in the usual courses on linear algebra. Subsequent chapters are specific, inter alia, for probability and statistics - in particular, they focus on special types of matrices and their properties, important matrix decompositions, functions of matrices and matrix difierentiation. Keywords: matrix algebra, statistics, idempotent matrix, spectral decomposition, Kronecker product

Swimming for disabled children in České Budějovice and in Jihlava
TRINGLOVÁ, Lenka
Abstract The bachelor thesis, which is called {\clqq}Swimming for children with disability in České Budějovice town and in Jihlava town`` is aimed to a swimming realization for the children with disability in the civic associations named KONTAKT without barriers (hereinafter only: KONTAKT wB) and Vodomílek Sport Club (hereiafter only: Vodomílek SC). The theoretical part characterizes an impact of the water surroundings, the importance and the use of swimming for the children with disability. Furthermore the hydrotherapy, the hydro-kinesiological therapy, the suckling swimming and the swimming classification are specified in that part. The aim of my work has been to find out, how the swimming for the children with disability in both the already mentioned associations is realized. The aim was reached by means of a structured conversation to parents and to the children from KONTAKT wB and from Vodomílek SC, and also by means of semi-structured conversations to specialists of the given sphere. Furthermore the research was completed by watching of the children with disability during their swimming lesson. Comparison of the theoretical part and the practical part show the swimming itself enables the children with disability their multilateral development and it increases their self-activity. It also contributes to their socialization and to their resocialization. It teaches the human being to get to know himself, his body and his possibilities. Furthermore it increases his fitness and his organism resistance. It is proved the swimming lesson realization in both associations corresponds to the parents´ideas of the children with disability. The swimming itself is mainly realized by volunteers, who have to be empathetic, persevering and firm. That can also be practised by the parents themselves last but not least. It is clear from the results that the way of the swimming realization in KONTAKT wB and in Vodomílek SC is not the same. The common feature is their individual approach to the children as well as their typical swimming lesson configuration. The difference rests in the teaching method, which both the associations purvey. KONTAKT wB proceeds according to their own methodical line, Vodomílek SC combines various teaching methods. Results of that research will be used as the better understanding of the swimming purpose for the children with disability and will help promote that sports activity. The theoretical part and the research can be used as the knowledge summary related to problems of the children with disability. It can be used by parents, volunteers, swimming coaches and others, who want or need to get more detailed pieces of information related to that theme.

Diminutives and Augmentatives in Contemporary Romanian Language and their Stylistic Use
Míka, Kryštof ; Balanescu, Eleonora Olivia (advisor) ; Valentová, Libuše (referee)
1 Summary The thesis entitled Diminutives and Augmentatives in Contemporary Romanian Language and their Stylistic Use is focused on determining a classification which could describe every stylistic function of expressive words. The method I chose was to analyze three stylistic areas, create lists of expressive words with context and evaluate the results. From the beginning, it was evident that there were many connections between diminutives, augmentatives on one part and pejoratives on the other. That is a reason why I extended this thesis to cover also pejorative words. Firstly, I would like to describe the structure of this study. I decided to divide it into two parts. The first one is theoretical (1.0), and its aim is to synthesize information about suffix derivation and about diminutives, augmentatives and pejoratives in the Romanian language. In different linguistic studies, we find different classifications of observed suffixes and also their different quantities. Having reviewed these linguistic studies, I chose one which I found the best organized and, based on my own analysis, I also added some observations regarding the theory (2.4.5). Basically, there are two more suffixes which should be classified as diminutive (-ež, -uşă) and two as augmentative (-ime, - andru). Next theoretical topic to...

Heritage with special accent to inheritance titles
Tesařová, Lenka ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor) ; Radvanová, Senta (referee) ; Salač, Josef (referee)
1 Abstract At the beginning of my work, I explained and defined a term and function of inheritance (in Czech: dědictví); in this respect I would like to highlight a general understanding of the inheritance under the Civil Code of 1811. Under this Civil Code, the inheritance was understood as an exclusive right to take possession of whole probate estate (in Czech: pozůstalost) or its part determined in its relation to the whole part. Inheritance law was right in rem, which took effect against to everyone who wanted to usurp the probate estate (to disturb the heirs (in Czech: dědic) in exercising or execution of the particular right). A general interpretation and introduction to the inheritance rights under the current legislation is also described in the above-mentioned part of my work. Further, this part of my work contains a brief description of the principles on which the inheritance law is created. These principles were already defined by Emanuel Tilsch. In general, the inheritance law is a summary of all legal rules which govern the transfer of rights and obligations of the death (in Czech: zemřelý) to his/her legal successor (the inheritance law in the objective meaning). Usually, the inheritance law is connected with the death of an individual (when the death is proved by the death certificate or a...

Spinoza's Ethics
Kukla, Karel ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Blažková, Miloslava (referee)
Spinoza's Ethics Karel Kukla Spinoza's Ethics is practical instruction to a change of ethical thinking. It is a true reflexive Metod. We cannot think a compassion if we don't understand it. Author challenges us to the change of ethical thinking and refers to Spinoza's Ethics, which he introduces to a contemporary reader in an intuitive fashion. Summary of this ethical interpretation as follows: Everything is a part of our body, expressions are necessarily part of the whole. Atribute of thinking has essential role. It enables our intellect to comprehend these expressions and resign in a sense of active ability to reduce our lusts and affects. The third intuitive degree of comprehension directed to God comes out of honest resignation of intellectual comprehension. It comes out of honest self-understanding. Spinoza's Ethics is such a deep and breath-taking exploration of our human heart. It contains appealing ethical reference. It calls for unity and understanding. It leads people out of slavery. Out of thought captivity which is to think or believe we are free. Out of the real slavery he sets us free from the bond of uncontrollable lusts and confused ideas. The question is whether or not we are interested in it. Spinoza's Ethics means a practical life under way of eternity.
