The authenticity of children´s stage performance
Jurkasová, Jana ; VALENTA, Josef (advisor) ; ULRYCHOVÁ, Irina (referee)
My thesis is based on the subject of the impact of theatrical studies and stage performance on young people. In the first part of my thesis I will cover the theory around the genuine and natural ability in young people to perform. The second part of my thesis begins with the details of my research, followed by a description of the preparatory work carried out with my pupils involved in performing, along with audience members and a selection of teachers involved in the field of theatre studies and education. Within my thesis I have tried to capture the journey taken by pupils from my initial meeting within them through to and including their performance. I have also attempted to capture and evidence the moments during their journey where creativity and energy have been very apparent. In addition I have also highlighted what in my view may be some of the prerequisites to enable creativity and expression to take place. I will also evidence the different perspectives of this study and provide comparison within this.

Beautiful Goddess: Contemporary Feminine Spirituality in the example of the female tantric groups
Veselá, Helena ; Nešpor, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Zdeněk (referee)
This thesis elaborates the results of the research I carried out wtihin the year 2009 in a paid course of female tantric initiation. The theme of the thesis was inspired by my previous interest in the Goddess movement. As this movement is not yet concretized in the Czech republic, I have chosen participating in a closed women's group which is very close to it due to a specific combination of religion, philosophy and psychology. My goal was to find out what form the women's spirituality has in the Czech environment and what kind of women are drawn to it. While the first part of the thesis deals with the universal characteristics of the current eclectic spirituality generally described as the New Age movement, the second part is devoted to the research itself. I come to the conclusion that the symbol of the Goddess, the key idea of the thesis, is not perceived only as a religious concept but also as a medium by means of which women define their needs and problems resulting from their femininity. By this particular case, I advert to the very psychotherapeutic dimension of women's spirituality. Keywords: New Age, tantra, The Goddess, body, spirituality, femininity, self-realization, strength, motherhood

Müller, Vojtěch ; Havlová, Radka (advisor) ; Knotková, Vladimíra (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to capture the Middle East conflict from a new perspective. In this regard, the conflict analysis works with two new factors: lack of water resources in the region and the effect this situation has on the regional actors to initiate an open war conflict. As an introduction to the topic, the first chapter discusses water resources in the context of international relations. The general findings of the first chapter are then applied to the specific situation in the Middle East region. In particular, the second chapter depicts the role of water resources throughout Arab-Israeli conflicts that later serves as a basis for the analysis of the conflicts at the end of the chapter. Finally, the last chapter seeks to pinpoint some actual conditions and technological capabilities that could secure the efficient and regular supply of water resources in the region.

Sittová, Gabriela ; Ulrychová, Irina (advisor) ; Martínková, Nina (referee)
This bachelor work deals with the staging process with a group of teenage girls. It describes the group, gives its characteristics and qualifications, which was the initial point for the choice of the topic and the literary material. The literary model for our work was found in the fairy tale ?Království krasavic? (Kingdom of beauties) by Karel Šiktanc. This work offers also a dramaturgic analysis of the text, whose original structure, however, went through some crucial interventions while working on its dramatizing. Therefore, the final script can be considered more like an authorial work based on the Šiktanc?s fairy tale. The creation of the scenario is taken down in this work too. It has been creating in conjunction with the girls of the drama group as well as the first idea of the stage key, the stage means, etc. The work also describes step by step how the appearance of the characters, stage, costumes, masks, accouterments and music has developed from the very beginning up to the first releas of the performance under the title Království ?Černé růže? (Kingdom of the Black Rose) and its reflection.

Because failing of incumbent political elites can be regarded as the main factor for election success of the opposition, this topic is given substantial attention. The source of information published in this paper are written records of the civil initiative Černošice, nedejme se!, the gathering of independent candidates Věci černošické, and the data published by the Czech Institute for Statistics. The facts given are also based on interviews with politically active local citizens and public enquiry. According to this enquiry none of the addressed citizens were satisfied with the way in which the local authorities executed their public duties. Most of the stated opinions proved that the time period that has passed since election 2010 is too short to judge whether an improvement in municipal leadership occured. Nevertheless, all enquired people agree that information accessibility has improved. The election success of the Věci černošické can be also ascribed to creating a new way of communication with citizens by the means of printed monthly news distributed to all households and by establishing information websites.
