New Regionalism and the North American region

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the phenomenon of the new regionalism and economic integration in North America and to evaluate the effects of the integration on economies of member countries. The thesis is divided into four chapters starting with the theoretical principles of regionalism and continuing with the approach of North America countries to this issue.
Social and economic aspects of integrating disabled children into mainstream schools

This thesis is devoted to integrating disabled children into mainstream schools. The paper focuses on the integration in secondary education. The first part deals with the theoretical knowledge of issues relating to disability, integration, ensuring the integration of the legislative and not a social and financial demands the integration of those affected physically-tion of pupils in mainstream schools. The practical part is devoted to statistical monitoring of individuals with disabilities with a focus on disability. Closer stripped statistics give high school students with physical disabilities. Following are the results of the research in the field of integration in secondary education with a focus on a brief characterization of the integration of pupils in selected schools.
EU Integration policy and its impact on the integration of third country nationals in the Czech republic

Recently, the immigrants integration and integration policy belong to much discussed topics and enjoy a great interest especially of the economically developed countries, which EU Member States, including the Czech Republic, are undoubtedly among. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the impact of EU integration policy on the integration of third country nationals in the Czech Republic. This thesis focuses on the EU legislative framework which was presented to its Member states, in this case to the Czech Republic, EU funds invested in integration processes of third countries nationals and its use in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the work targets the integration form of the country and projects which have been created for this purpose. The analysis of these processes shows that EU determines the direction which CZ should follow in its immigrants integration. How and which methods will CZ choose, however, depends solely on the country itself.
EU Structural Funds Utilization in Czech republic

This graduation thesis focuses on regional and structural policy of European Union and its utilization in Czech Republic. The thesis explains the impact of integration theories on the different stages of development of regional policy in its present form and gives a comprehensive view on the issue of raising financial support from European Union. It also explains where the money for these grants comes and how Czech Republic stands in acquiring them. At the end thesis brings an example of a company that became a successful recipient of funding from EU. First part of graduation thesis is focused on the theoretical evolution of European integration and the related evolution of regional policy of EU. The evolution of regional policy is monitored especially in Czech republic, where the thesis describes single budget periods of EU and the volume of money gained from grants and money spent on them. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the evolution of macroeconomic indicators of Czech republic and their effects on EU regional policy.
Economic Integration of Balkan Countries: Current Situation and Perspectives

The thesis concerns the economic integration of Western Balkan countries. It aims to describe development of the integration, it's current situation and possible perspectives. The thesis is divided into three chapters. First chapter refers to territorial trade structure of Western Balkan countries which is very important for undestanding the integration itself. Second chapter deals with the development and current situation of the economic integration. We can study the integration from two points of view. Firstly, it's possible to study the integration of the countries within the Western Balkan region and secondly, their integration to the EU. This aspect of economic integration is studied in the third chapter. It focuses on Croatia and Macedonia.
Realization of the EU Internal Market

The aim of the work is to explain integration activities in the western Europe, describe steps heading to creation of a Common Market and then an Internal Market being the core part of the European economic integration. The work deals with realization of the EU Internal Market after 1993 according to official documents of the EU that can be divided into separate complex strategies of the EU, strategies and action plans for the Internal Market and the reports evaluating the success made and remaining imperfections. Consequently, the work assesses the current situation in the Internal Market and analyses its objectives according to published EU documents.
Economic Integration in North America

Purpose of this thesis is to provide clear and comprehensive overview of development of economic integration processes on the American continent. Key to this theme are the North American Free Trade Area (NAFTA) and the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA). Bachelor thesis focuses on the gradual development of economic cooperation, evaluate the economic impact on participating countries and further deals with barriers to integration processes. At the conclusion are outlined the possible future scenarios for future development.
The economic integration of the Arab states

This thesis will deal with an economic integration of the states in the Arab region considering facts which can influence the integration, e. g. religion, culture, politics, oil. The second part will be focused on the history of the economic cooperation, it means a development of commerce, commercial routes in the region, arab countries as a part of the Silk road, how trans-saharan trade worked, the conditions for business in antiquity and medieval times (to which level the business depended on the directives of a ruler, autonomy in the merchant towns, eastern guilds, enforceability of law etc.). The next chapter is focused on modern subregional groups (Gulf Cooperation Council, Union du Maghreb arabe) and the Arab League, which presents regional integration groupment. I will try to compare the arab integration with prof. Frey's concept FOCJ. The end of the thesis deals an international cooperation of the arab region with the other regions.
