The history, the present and the perspectives of development of Moravian-Silesian Scientific Library in Ostrava

Moravskoslezská vědecká knihovna uspokojuje informační potřeby svých uživatelů prostřednictvím kvalitních profesionálních služeb na bázi informačních technologií. Magisterská práce popisuje historii knihoven a knihovnictví v Severomoravském kraji, kde knihovnictví mělo v oblasti kulturně výchovné práce rozhodující význam. Soustředí se na vznik a vývoj vědecké knihovny v Ostravě, na její postupnou automatizaci, která se s rozvojem informačních technologií stala nedílnou součástí všech oblastí knihovny. V této práci je popsán fond knihovny, jsou zde uvedeny roční přírůstky i celkový stav fondu knihovny. Magisterská práce popisuje také regionální funkce knihovny a analyzuje široké spektrum služeb, které knihovna nabízí a tím přispívá k vzdělávání a vzdělanosti obyvatel Moravskoslezského kraje. Závěr práce je věnován budoucnosti knihovny. Je zde popsána soutěž o návrh architektonického řešení nové knihovny a prostorové řešení novostavby, které umožní zefektivnění práce vědecké instituce. Cílem práce je popsat jak historii, tak současný stav knihovny a zamyslet se nad perspektivami vývoje, které by vedly ke zkvalitnění služeb této významné vědecké instituce.

The Gospel of Mark and an anthic tragedy

This essay (Mark`s gospel and antique tragedy) concerns the stylistic quality of Mark`s gospel. First it generally compares antique genres with Mark`s gospel and briefly enumerates the correspondences and the divergences. It will come to the conclusion that Mark`s gospel has the most common elements with a greek tragedy. That for at first it compares religious and sociological function of a tragedy and gospel. When some of these functions will have found, the essay will concentrate on requirements of tragedy production, especially these included in Aris totel`s Poetic. In the analysis of Mark`s Prolog of gospel we are going to show also the other dramatic functions and narativ strategies, which are typical for Mark. In the framework of modern literary critique the essey continues with analysis of narativ function of characters and other dramatic tools. Czech baroque coronations

The Bohemian coronations in the baroque period certainly ranked among the most significant politi cal events in the entire Habsburg monarchy in the 17th and 18th centuries. In my study, I tried to compare the coronations of Ferdinand III. (1627), of his two sons Ferdinand IV. (1646) and Leopold I. (1656) and of Leopolďs son Charles Vl. (1723). I discussed four spheres, in which we can see these events. The first one was the political sphere: after the battle on the White Mountain, Bohemia became a hereditary monarchy, so it was never more necessary for Habsburgs to deal with the Bohemian estates, when the son of the King should be coronated. But the vote of the new king was only one limitation of the King's power, another limitations, which originated from the early modem political philosophy, continued further in the baroque period. There was no responsibility to the estates, but King was responsible to the God and to this effect he took an oath during the coronation mass before the unction. When the archbishop of Prague as a consecrator was pouring the holy oil with balsam ( chrisma) on the head of the King, he received the Goď s Grace like the jewish kings of the Old Testament (David, Salomon). Silverlight technology and its practical use

This diploma thesis brings a look at the relatively new technology Microsoft Silverlight, which is a new platform for developing Rich Internet Applications (RIA). It contains features and principles of Silverlight technology in a context of several other technologies. As a part of this work, there is a practical project developed in Microsoft Silverlight 2.0, which is used as a demonstration of described principals and techniques in a theoretical part. The goal of this work is to provide the best possible and complete description of Silverlight's features, advantages, but also limitations. In the thesis there can be also found comparisons with related technology Microsoft Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) and also with other competitors on a RIA market.

Semiotic construction of the media image of the Czechoslovak Radio and function as part of the show in exalted moments of history our republic (May 1945, August 1968, November 1989). The model of the show during periods exalted was created especially during the Prague Uprising in May 1945 and was repeated for the entry of troops "friends" in August 1968. One can still find older signs before the Second world war, and to a smaller extent even later, during the first days of the Velvet Revolution in November 1989. But then Czechoslovak Radio no longer preached freedom, on the contrary, she remained loyal to the totalitarian regime power and it has long concealed what was really happening. Operation "VISTULA": Its presentation in the People's Republic of Polanď s propaganda and contemporary interpretation

This thesis deals with expulsions of (ethnic) Ukrainians from their homeland in post- war Poland in 1944-1947 and the presentation of these in communist Poland's propaganda. It also analyses different interpretations of these events after the political changes in Central and Eastern Europe at the end of the 1980s. Post-war changes of Poland's eastern boarder, where the Soviet Union could keep the territories it had occupied in 1939, led to a situation where only 0,5 to 0,7 million Ukrainians out of a pre-war population of 5 million remained in their original homeland in Poland's south-eastern region. After the end of World War II, the Ukrainian insurgent army (UPA) continued fighting for Ukrainian independence against the governments on both sides of the new border, which they felt transected Ukrainian territory. The Polish pro-soviet communist government, which had only very little support in Polish society, made use of extreme nationalism, anti-German and also anti- Ukrainian sentiments in order to gain legitimacy. The Polish and Ukrainian societies regarded each other as enemies since pre-war times and especially after WW II, when around 20 thousand Ukrainians and more than 90 thousand Poles were murdered in mutual killings. Objective of this thesis is to describe the municipal authority. Town Dobříš is used town as an example. First, I define municipality, its force and competence. I describe particular rights of municipality citizens. Further, I characterize local authority, its structure, acts and I introduce specific example of council act -- municipal ordinance of binding force of town Dobříš. Similarly I describe local board, its structure, acts and council committee. I delimitate position of mayor and vice mayors. I characterize municipal office including unions and secretary. I describe particular forms of municipalities cooperation.

Cílem mé práce bylo definovat a popsat oddělení treasury ve firmě, jeho organizační strukturu, hlavní činnosti a funkce, jako je cash management a risk management a definovat jednotlivé prostředky, které napomáhají k dosažení cílů risk a cash managementu. Jelikož je s činností řady firem spojeno široké spektrum rizik, která mohou mít podstatný vliv na její hospodářskou situaci, je pro firmy nezbytné zavést systém řízení rizik do jejich podnikových procesů. Stejně tak je pro firmy nezbytné efektivně řídit hotovost neboli likviditu, která nastavuje správnou úroveň pracovního kapitálu a napomáhá tak k úspěšnému řízení rizik.
