Temporary foster care in the current system of substitute family care
KOSINOVÁ, Michaela
This thesis discusses all forms of foster care. It defines legal regulations for all forms of fostering and their respective differences. In particular, it deals with a new form of foster care {--} temporary fostering. It is also aimed to visualize the mediation process of foster care that must be completed by fostering applicants. The objective of this thesis is to find out how temporary foster care is used in the present fostering system. It identifies a number of applicants for this type of foster care as well as it maps the views of fostering officers at the Regional Authorities in the Czech Republic regarding the issue of temporary foster care. For this purpose, we applied an interrogation method using a question form. A set of fostering officers of the Regional Authorities in the Czech Republic was created. These officers were approached via e-mail. The results show that most of the fostering officers see temporary foster care as a necessary institute in the Czech Republic. The majority of them, however, suspect that its current concept brings a number of obstacles that entail low interest for this form of foster care. The survey identified that 4 applicants for temporary foster care were registered by the Regional Authorities as of December 31, 2008.

This thesis focuses on enterprise VoIP telephony network security. Introduces brief comparison of old analog and digital voice networks and IP telephone networks with special focus on VoIP system security. The goal of the thesis is to identify the risks of implementation and operation of VoIP technologies in enterprise environment and so thesis brings some conclusion how to minimalize or avoid these risks. First two chapters briefly introduce the development of telephony technologies with differentiation of enterprise telephone network from public telephone networks. Further it describes individual technologies, digitalization of voice, processing the signal and VoIP protocols and components. Third chapter focuses on infrastructure of telephony networks with special interest for architecture of IP telephony and ways of establishing call processing. It describes data flows for further security risk analysis, which this technology came with. Fifth chapter is about enterprise security standards in common and is trying to describe information security management system (ISMS) adopting VoIP technology. Individual security threats and risks are described in sixth chapter, along with known methods how to avoid them. Final parts of thesis concludes of two real situation studies of threats and risks of VoIP technologies implemented in environment of small commercial enterprise and medium size enterprise, in this example represented by University of economics. These chapters conclude theoretical problems shown on practical examples.

Blank Bill
Koncer, Nikola ; Patěk, Daniel (advisor) ; Čech, Petr (referee)
Incomplete instrument is an institution in practice quite often used, but which raises a number of issues stemming mainly from its fragmentary legislation. The aim of my work is primarily to explore related issues, to confront conflicting views of theorists, to deal with the mismatch between theory and conclusions of the courts and in a case I find such to add my own opinion in a contentious area. The result should be a comprehensive presentation of incomplete instrument including the benefits and risks which this certainly interesting institute holds. Admissibility of incomplete instrument has been controversial issue for a long time. Especially the business practice established the existence of deeds that are not rightful Bills of Exchange or other securities as they don't contain all the particulars required by law, yet give its owner confidence that, if effort is made, they can be transformed into the proper Bills of Exchange. These documents are called Incomplete instruments. If we search for the essence of incomplete instrument, then it can be relatively easily determined even from its very name of which can be seen that this is a deed containing white spaces intended for later additions. Incomplete instrument is a precursor of future Bills. It is a deliberate deed issued in incomplete form,...

Personality of common vole (\kur{Microtus arvalis}): behaviour in new environment
ROUBOVÁ, Veronika
This thesis is focused on intraindividual variations. 96 common voles have been searched in Open-field test. I measured total duration, frequency and latency of behavioral components. Following analysis of datas discovered behavioral differences between voles. I assessed some individuals either as extremely shy or extremely bold but most individuals can be clasified between this extreme values.

Respiratory physiotherapy - part of a comprehensive treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients
Vargová, Zuzana ; Smolíková, Libuše (advisor) ; Slováčková, Lenka (referee)
Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a progressive muscular disease. This serious disease attacks not only the musculoskeletal system, but also the respiratory system. Respiratory system is one of the most influenced systems. The risks of respiratory problems increase with deteriorating condition of the patient due to muscle weakness. This work is focused on treatment of respiratory system. The aim of treatment is early prevention and solving of complications. These complications include not only scoliosis and cardial problems, but mainly inefficient cough, night hypoventilation, irregular night breathing and failure of respiratory system even during the day. The aim of the respiratory physiotherapy is to keep the right functionality of lungs for the longest time and to choose the correct method of the rehabilitation following the patient's condition deteriorating. Interventions suitable for the patients with the DMD are techniques that leads to increasing lung volume, manual and mechanical techniques of assisted coughing, and noninvasive ventilation. NIV is one of the preferred methods of treating nowadays. Another method is continual invasive ventilation and ventilation with tracheostomy. This treatment includes keeping hygiene of the airways, which is the basis for their throughput. The work also includes...

Demographic characteristics of new social-spacial formations in Czechia
Brabec, Tomáš ; Kocourková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Fialová, Ludmila (referee)
In our bachelor thesis we will deal with the demographic characteristics of small territorial units. We will use the concept of the new socio-spatial formations (NSPF), a concept which is relatively new and still little used. NSSF are specific localities where segregated or separated populations with similar economic level and lifestyle are concentrated. NSSF may be divided into three basic types - localities with a strong concentration of social, socially weak population and foreigners. The main goal is to highlight the fact that residents in these formations differ in demographic characteristics and demographic behavior from the rest of the Czech Republic, and between different types of NSSF. Separated and segregated population in the NSSF has a younger age structure. There are differences between types of NSSF in the level of fertility. While the socially weak population with a highly above average levels of fertility in areas of strong social and fecundity of foreigners is rather small. The work also deals with the debate about the causes of differences in demographic behavior. We work with the second demographic transition theory and the theory of risk society.

The biochemical parameters of wine and their changes during ageing
Vacková, Tereza ; Hudeček, Jiří (advisor) ; Hodek, Petr (referee)
3. Abstract Wines marketed under the same brandname and designation may differ in color and other characteristic, as they may come from different batches. These differences may reflect different concentrations of individual components in wine, reflecting, for example, different compositions of individual cupages. We used the reagent set "Malá vinařská laboratoř" (supplied by the BS Vinařské závody, Velké Bílovice, ČR) to determine principal parameters of two samples of a white wine with the same brandname, differing in color. For comparison, one sample of red wine was studied with the same methods. After opening the wine, we followed the changes of selected parameters during ageing, for 14 days (keeping the wine in a cold place), and also in a short-term experiment under elevated temperature. Our laboratory data were complemented by a more detailed analysis of phenolics and other antioxidants, performed in a specialised laboratory (Mendel Agricultural University, Brno, ČR).

Angiogenesis in cerebral ischemia border zone
Nulíčková, Radka ; Otáhal, Jakub (advisor) ; Brime, Tufikameni (referee)
Title of work: Angiogenesis in the border zones of cerebral ischemia The aims of work: The aim of this diploma thesis was to determinate the parameter of the angiogenesis after focal brain ischemia induced by photothrombosis in P7 rat pups. This thesis should answer the question, if there is some difference in vascular density according to the distance from the lesion and if there is some diference between the vascular density in normal brain and the brain with the lesion. Materials and Methods: Cerebral ischemia was induced in P7 rat pups with photothombic method. Intravenous administration of bengal rose dye was followed by illumination of beam of green laser over the cortex for 5 minutes at 0,5s on/off cycles. Bengal rose dye is potent photosensitive substance and the ilumination resulted in agregation of trombocytes and thrombosis. Cerebral ischemia evolved due to the thrombosis. After two months, the animals were overdosed with urethane and transcardially perfused. Then thein brain were cryoprotected and then cut into 50µm slices and prepaired for histological staining. The stained slices were the investigated under mikroskope. The microvessels in the cortex were counted and the density was estimated by stereological method. Results: Two brain with ischemic lesion and two control brain were...

Psychosocial Aspects of Huntington's Disease
Uhrová, Tereza ; Roth, Jan (advisor) ; Zvolský, Petr (referee) ; Benetin, Ján (referee)
Huntington's disease (HD) is an autosomal dominant inherited neuro-psychiatric disease with usual onset in the middle age. The mutation, located on the short shoulder of chromosome 4, is an expansion of a nucleotide triplet, containing cytosine, adenine, guanine (CAG), with critical limit of 40+ repetitions. The principal symptoms include motor symptoms (chorea, dystonia, disorders of voluntary movements), progressive cognitive deterioration and neuropsychiatric symptoms (behaviour disorders, affective symptoms and so on). The clinical diagnosis is confirmed by a genetic test, which may also be carried out presymptomatically in offsprings of the diseased person. The objective of the 1st study consisted in the characterization of differences in psychiatric examination and neuropsychological testing among the people at risk (PAR), in whom it was recommended to delay the test, and people at risk, who were recommended to continue in the so-called predictive protocol. The total of 52 people have been examined (32 females, 20 males). In addition to the common psychiatric examination we have also administered the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ-A), self-rating scale of general psychopathology (SCL- 90), three short cognitive tests - Trail making test, test of Verbal fluency and...
