The Rise of Protest Parties in Southern Europe

This thesis analyzes the rise of populist parties in southern Europe - italian Five Star Movement, greek SYRIZA and spanish Podemos. The aim is to define the key factors, that contributed to the perception of these protest political formations as political alternatives. The thesis chronologically follows development of examined political parties. Further it defines their strategy in terms of levels of protests and programme. Finally it outlines probable transformations of party systems, which is caused by the rise of protest parties.

Methodology of investigation of juvenile crime

Methods of investigation of crimes committed by juvenile (abstract) The purpose of my thesis is to describe and analyse juvenile delinquency and its methods of investigation. The reason why I chose this theme is that the juvenile delinquency is an up-to- date subject. Causes of a crime, ways of its commission and its prevention are frequent issues of general and expert public as well. The thesis is composed of eight chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of methods of investigation of crimes committed by juvenile. Chapter One is introductory and defines the term methods of investigation itself and its components. Chapter Two is subdivided into four parts. The first part defines the term juvenile. Part Two deals with main kinds of crimes committed by juvenile and compares statistical data. The following part of Chapter Two describes ways of committing crimes. The last part of Chapter One focuses on causes of crime and illustrates them. Chapter Three is concerned with specific clues and specific investigative situations. Chapter Four outlines specialities of object of investigation, specialities of suggestion of investigation and specialities of early stage of investigation. This paper focuses on pension systems in East Asia region. Demographic and economic background is presented besides the basic classification and the recommended structure of a pension system. Development of Chinese, Japanese, South Korean and Singaporean pension systems is then described in detail. Challenges ahead these four countries is outlined in the context of further pension reforms. Finally, pension systems of selected countries are compared with each other.

Methods for construction of zero-coupon yield curve from the Czech coupon bond market

The zero coupon yield curve is one of the most fundamental tools in finance and is essential in the pricing of various fixed-income securities. Zero coupon rates are not observable in the market for a range of maturities. Therefore, an estimation methodology is required to derive the zero coupon yield curves from observable data. If we deal with approximations of empirical data to create yield curves it is necessary to choose suitable mathematical functions. We discuss the following methods: the methods based on cubic spline functions, methods employing linear combination of the Fourier or exponential basis functions and the parametric model of Nelson and Siegel. The current mathematical apparatus employed for this kind of approximation is outlined. In order to find parameters of the models we employ the least squares minimization of computed and observed prices. The theoretical background is applied to an estimation of the zero-coupon yield curves derived from the Czech coupon bond market. Application of proper smoothing functions and weights of bonds is crucial if we want to select a method which performs best according to given criteria. The best performance is obtained for Bspline models with smoothing.

Nyni je rada na shrnuti hlavnich poznatku z vyzkumu, na zohledneni sirsiho kontextu a na naertnuti otazek pro budouci studium. Methods of hedging currency risks with application to small and medium enterprise

The bachelor thesis is primary focused on methods and possibilities of hedging currency risks, whereas in the second part this risks are specificated to currency risks of small and medium enterprises. The thesis follows theoretical separation of foreign exchange exposures to transaction exposure and economic exposure. The translation exposure is not mentioned, because is irrelevant in sector of small and medium enterprises. The thesis contains the outline of possible hedging methods of transaction exposure (external, internal methods) and economic exposure. Analysed subjects in second part are two czech companies from sector of SME, which were established in 1995 and are exporting to foreign countries. The first company deals with firewood, produces and completes clapboard's roof, the second produces blankets, pillows and fillings for sofas. The analysis targets the historical process of competitiveness in background of czech crown's appreciation, exactly to economic exposure. The companies are not hedging their transaction exposures. Finally, the thesis evaluates actual situation of foreign currency exposure and suggests possible solutions, e.g. establishing a new office in abroad.

Mimosmluvní užití autorského díla 71 Limitations and exceptions to copyright protection The purpose of my thesis is to outline the main limitations and exceptions to copyright protection that exist under the czech copyright law, international law and european law. The reason for my research is that limitations and exceptions are the most important legal instrument for reconciling copyright with the individual and collective interests of the general public. The thesis is composed of six chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of exceptions to authors' rights. Chapter One is introductory and describes copyright in general. The chapter two and three defines the most important international conventions and community legislation. Next chapter is dealing with limitations and exceptions to copyright protection that exist under czech copyright act. This chapter is subdivided into six parts. Part one describe the three-step test, which is a main condition of limitations and exceptions. Part is about making author's work public. Part three describes system for author`s work for which the period of duration of economic rights has expired and only the author's moral rights remain. v teto pn3ci jsme se pokusili za pomoci kulturologickych instrumentu nahlednout fenomen sportu v soudobe zapadni spolecnosti. Nas zajem smeroval ale spise k zachyceni a charakteristice zrcadleni tohoto fenomenu v kultui'e nez k uchopeni fenomenu sameho. Vychazeli jsme z pi'edpokladu, i.e nejvetSi cast recipientU se se sportem setkava v podobe kulturniho textu, jenz vznika distribuci sportu masovymi medii. Tento kulturni text jsme posleze podrobili blizsi analyze a nastinili jsme nektere moznosti jeho interpretace. Musime konstatovat, ~e v ceskych podminkach - na rozdil od zapadnich zemi - jde pravdepodobne 0 zatim specificky a ojedinely pokus. I u nas Ize zajiste nalezt celou i'adu nejruznejsich publikaci 0 sportu, vcetne praci odbornych. Zpravidla se tyto prace ale zamei'uji na zakladni sociologicke zkoumani, muzeme nalezt nespocet del ze sportovni historie a bylo by mozne jmenovat i pokusy 0 aplikaci filosofie na fundament sportu, jimz je minena zejmena specificka telesna cinnost. Pokud jde 0 zrcadleni, resp. vliv sportu na kulturu, byva kladen duraz na idealni podobu sportu: tedy sport coby mediator uslechtilych myslenek, zasad fair play apod.
