Kolaříková, Ivana ; Dvořák, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Hůla, Zdenek (referee)
The theme of the thesis is how products or forms found in nature are viewed and interpreted in both natural and social contexts. The natural context sees the various forms individually, as well as intertwined with surrounding forms, composing scenery, vistas, and the environment, including microcosms. It illustrates that their appearance - structure, shape and attributes - are the result of activities of various natural processes and elements. The thesis focuses on stone as a lifeless product of nature and wood (tree) as a living product of nature. It also points to the importance of products of nature in human life and their reflection in art. The practical part of the thesis analyzes a cycle of oil paintings that capture varying sceneries of stone and wood, inspired by nature's cycle of creation and destruction. The thesis also proposes some approaches, and possible aplications, of the theme of nature in art education.

Dvorská, Petra ; Hejlová, Denisa (referee) ; Vojtěchovská, Martina (advisor)
My thesis titled "The Origin and Evolution of Media Agencies in the Czech Republic" discusses the emergence and gradual formation of organisations specialised in media planning and the purchase of advertising space in the media. It focuses in particular on the 1990-2000 period; however, it also mentions the development of these agencies before 1989 as well as the current and future trends. To better understand the formation of these organizations, the thesis also briefly describes the basic developmental characteristics of the media market in the Czech Republic after 1989. The work also contains the definition of a media agency, the explanation of its nature and its position in the "media chain", i.e. the description of the role media agencies perform in relation to advertisers, advertising agencies, media representatives, the media and audience. It also mentions the impact of media agencies on the operation of the media and their share in creation of media tools and research. Because there is no supporting material available so far, the work is mostly based on the statements of the founders of the agencies and direct participants.

The Communist Party seized political power after the putsch in February 1948 in Czechoslovakia. Communists divested their political opponents also with an assistance of political trials. During the period in the year 1968 in Czechoslovakia, which is usually called "The Prague Spring", when a censorship was suspended (in March 1968), arose a public discussion about this political trials, their victims and instigators and law rehabilitations. Media contributed to this discussion very much. In three printed media which I probed ("Reporter", "Student" and "Nova mysl") went through the trial with "Slansky a company" at most. Not only the victims, but also through the widows of executed and politically responsible men. A method of creation this trial, his historical context and role of soviet advisors was examined in details too. After a military occupation by The Soviet Union and "friendly armies" on 21 SI August and a restoration of censorship in September 1968, the discussion was practically closed. Actor and HIs Fear
Roleček, Vít ; OTČENÁŠEK, Štěpán (advisor) ; SALZMANNOVÁ, Eva (referee)
In my master thesis, I am trying to name the origins and signals of an actor`s fear. I have came from my own existing stage experiences previously and whilst studying classical acting at the Dramatic Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, and also from my first experiences with differing professional groups from theatres from around the Czech Republic. My thesis is supported by professional literature, with which one I have read during my studies at the Academy, and it is inspired by talks and by consultation with people who are active in an artistic field. In my work I reflect my mental prosesses, states and blocks, not only during stage creations, but also in my personal life. I think that a fear can rule an actor and cause stage fright. This is why I have decided to choose this subject for my thesis.
