Analysis of handball coaches' activities in selected area

6 ABSTRACT Title: Analysis of handball coaches' activities in selected area. Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to determine wether the activities of coaches in handball teams, divisions under the Regional North-Moravian Handball Association (OSSH), are in accordance with the recommendations issued by the Czech Handball Federation (CSH). Methods: For the entire research project was chosen the epirically analytical method. With respect to the geografically large area, we considered interrogation method which can be used to collect both quantitative and qualitative research data. All collected data were summarized by entering inno tables and graphs. In the verification of hypotheses the data was evaluated by using basic statistical methods, the arithmetic mean, absolute frequency and relative frequency. Results: The thesis was intended to result in recommendation for coaches' education and development in the mentioned region. With reference to the research results in this thesis the recommendation will not related to impetus for only participation in the trainings. As we found out, the passing of the education and training activities themselves is not a problem. The recommendation will be predominantly related to the change of approach. The role of Romany teaching assistants in the education of Roma children

Romové tvoří početně nej významnější etnickou menšinu v České republice. Podle expertních odhadů žije na území České republiky 200 - 300 tisíc Romů (cca 2-3 % celkového počtu obyvatel). Současný stav, ve kterém se romská menšina nachází, plně odpovídá obecně přijímaným definicím sociálního vyloučení. Romská minorita je ve větší míře než většinová společnost v ČR vystavena dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti, nízkému vzdělání a kvalifikaci, špatnému zdravotnímu stavu, neuspokojivému bydlení, diskriminaci, rasismu, životu ve velmi znevýhodněných oblastech. Jde o "začarovaný kruh" vzájemně propojených a na sobě závislých problémů sociální povahy. Klíčovými oblastmi, které vedou ke stavu sociálního vyloučení Romů, jsou nízká úroveň vzdělanosti, s ní související situace na trhu práce a ztížený přístup ke kvalitnímu bydlení. V následujícím textu se zaměřím na oblast vzdělávání, konkrétně na problematiku rovných příležitostí ve vzdělávání a zavádění integračních nástrojů. Detailně se budu věnovat jednomu příkladu "dobré" praxe, který přispívá ke zvyšování šancí romských dětí na úspěšné zvládnutí základního systému vzdělávání, získání vyšší úrovně vzdělání a následného uplatnění na trhu práce. Opportunities and limits in psychologist's work with behaviorally disturbed adolescents in institutions

My thesis refers to the broad issue of education in institution. It focuses on adolescents with dystropy. It tries to reveal what is possible concerning the role of psychologist in istitution and in the same time what is limiting psycholodist's work. My thesis has analyzed the data of clients, psychologists a other cooperating professions. It lays stress on the work with clients and in the same time on the own role of the psychologist. My thesis used qualitative characters and data processing model concerning the explorational methods. The data were colected using questionnaire filled in by clients, psychologists and other cooperating proffesions - all of different institutions. Those data were analyzed and were integrated with half - structured interview. My aim was to make a broader insight to the issue of education in institution. I did a final review of empirical - picked up evidence at the very end of my thesis and in its discussion. I tried to call the attantion to some questionable points concerning education adolescent clients.

Role of media in international politics and conflicts

Bachelor thesis "Role of the media in international politics and conflicts" pursues position and influence of media in either international and common politics, impact of political events on the media themselves and mutual interaction of media and politics. Further follows war conflicts and their processing and submission throughout different types of media. The thesis also addresses influence of media on development in war areas, and within the study specializes on concrete territories in which so far gained theoretic knowledge is utilized to comprehend the particular situation, application of the knowledge on the particular conflict including obtaining new theoretical skills through critical evaluation of praxis in the problem area. The thesis addresses media phenomenon as itself, basic history of each kind of media, outlines common dilemma of relation politics - society, political communication and marketing role of the media (impact on voters through medial campaign or propaganda). The basic question of the thesis is how strong is medial impact within political events including armed conflicts, and whether modem (even post-modern) vision of media as a world superpower really complies with empirical praxis of present time.

Cause Related Marketing in the Czech Republic

This bachelor's thesis concerns with an issue of perception and influence of Cause Related Marketing on young generation in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part the key principles and forms of the partnerships between the businesses and non-profit organisations or causes are explained. In this part there is also a detailed case study from abroad. In the practical part the author evaluates two Czech CRM projects and shows the results of own research of attitudes of young Czech consumers to CRM and also tries to find differences in perception according to sex and place of living.

The reasons of a frequent failure in promoting kaizen to Czech employees

This diploma thesis deals with problems which often occur during implementation of kaizen philosophy into economic practice in Czech environment. Many Czech companies that adopted this philosophy do not reach such good results, compared to companies in Japan. Czech employee's do not accept it in good way. Thus the target of this thesis is to find out possible causes of this unfavourable situation. In theoetical parts, kaizen phiosophy and other related factors such as organizational culture are described. Furthermore, most frequent kaizen practice and its most important effects are described well as a brief history of it in Japan, USA, and Czech. Real implementations of kaizen in three companies in Czech Republic are analyzed in empirical part of this thesis. Most important points of this part are qualitative research (interviews with employees of these three companies) and quantitative research (questionares were filled by employees in one of these firms). The outputs of the thesis are general as well as specific suggestions for these three companies.

New trends in Czech obstetrics and opinion differences between pregnant women

In this graduation theses are monitored changes in obstetric profession during centuries and mainly in last few decades. Perception of childbirth change and what was once normal is today alternative and vice versa. Childbirth has unique position in medicine and we have to take it not only as matter of physiology but also as matter of sociology. At Childbirth, its hazards and its workminelike finis his regard with social optics. Determination and perception of childbirth is mainly different in view of two "competing conceptions" ( medically led childbirth, natural childbirth ).This graduation theses is oriented at perception and opinions of pregnant women. Theirs opinions are analyzed and processed with qualitative analysis. In last few years, "different" childbirth than classical is more and more in subconsciousness of women. Even when women more often choose medically led childbirth, some of them start to thing about different, alternative possibilities. Their opinion is, that woman shall have right to choose and more or less undertake responsibility over this decision.Women wanna be more involved in decisions about their bodies, childbirths. The Quality in Social Services

The thesis deals with the evaluation of the quality of social services, particularly services Sheltered Housing. For this evaluation of quality were selected four non-profit organizations focused on service housing in the region of South Bohemia. In this thesis we determined comparative areas according to the criteria of qualitative standards of social welfare, in accordance with those standards organizations are compared mutually and evaluated. For comparison of those organizations, focusing on social services, I have used the benchmarking method. The aim of the thesis is,on the basis of the lesson learned in comparing those organizations, identify potential improvements of provided social welfare and processing specific proposals and recommendations. These recommendations, can be used by those organizations to improve and enhance the quality of social services.

Is the spectrum of other available social services sufficient for the unemployed in the town of České Budějovice and the environs?

Fenomén nezaměstnanosti je problémem společnosti. Jedním z typů řešení tohoto jevu a zmírňování jeho negativních dopadů jsou sociální služby poskytované občanům. Odborné sociální poradenství může být vhodným typem sociálních služeb, které se nezaměstnanosti věnuje. Tématu občanského poradenství se věnuji od roku 2001, kdy jsem začala pracovat v Občanské poradně Remedium Praha. Po návratu do Jihočeského kraje v roce 2005 jsem začala pracovat jako projektová manažerka v Jihočeské rozvojové o.p.s., ve které jsem chtěla uplatnit nasbírané zkušenosti. Vzhledem k tomu, že v Českých Budějovicích doposud chyběla občanská poradna, kterou považuji za velmi užitečnou službu občanům a také proto, že vedení Jihočeské rozvojové o.p.s. nabízelo možnost zavedení této služby na základě výsledků komunitního plánu města, rozhodli jsme se pro zřízení této služby. Podmínkou pro realizaci byly finanční prostředky, které byly získány prostřednictvím grantové žádosti z programu PHARE. V současné době je občanská poradna plně funkční pro klienty. Ve spolupráci s partnerskou organizací Remedium Praha o.s. se podařilo zavést jednotlivé standardy kvality sociálních služeb do praxe a poradna je připravena stát se členem Asociace občanských poraden. Statistical comparison of bank products in selected banks

The thesis analyzes current and saving accounts, term deposits, and consumer loans of seven Czech retail banks, which includes three established and four niche competitors. The statistical development is elucidated with a time series analysis, revealing a sharp contrast of traditional and niche competitors' growth. In addition, the thesis includes a questionnaire which improves understanding of customers´ bank and bank product preferences, providing a sound basis for further qualitative examination. Finally, after evaluation of overall results, recommendations were proposed to the banks as well as their clients.
