Sy CAN - psychological maltreatment
Ptaková, Magdalena ; Procházková, Jana (advisor) ; Goldmann, Petr (referee)
The topic of my diploma thesis is the Syndrome CAN - psychological maltreatment. The issue of psychological maltreatment is a very difficult and complex, yet there are embarrassment in the theoretical background and its concept is relatively rambling in literature. Therefore I am dealing with the definition and classification of psychological maltreatment. At first, I am applying myself to the definitions and classifications by authors of foreign and Czech literature. Then I am focusing on the concept of psychological maltreatment perceived by teachers, social workers and psychologists. At the same time I am trying to reveal the teachers', social workers' and psychologists' experience in the psychological maltreatment and their attitude to its solution. Afterwards, I am comparing the concept of psychological maltreatment perceived by authors in the literature and concept of psychological maltreatment perceived by the questioned ones. Moreover, I am shortly analyzing a few case reports of psychological maltreatment which I was able to obtain from the authorized experts in the field of psychology. In those case reports, I am focusing only on the concept of psychological maltreatment in the expert opinions. In order to find out how the teachers, social workers and psychologists understand and take their views...

Autonomy of Man and the Narrative Understanding of Bioethics
Šípová, Karolína ; Ovečka, Libor (advisor) ; Lorman, Jaroslav (referee)
My work is a critical view of a modern principle of personal autonomy and an idea of autonomous man, which stems from philosophy of liberalism. The practice of personal autonomy in bioetics, which takes over the features of this political concept and does not comprise a metaphysical question about a man seems to empty a concept of humanity. My work tries to turn attentation to this problem and show the difficulties of personal autonomy when presented from the secular point of view. I want to offer then the concept of narrative ethics as a vision of supplementing the concept of modern principal bioetics.

Business Intelligence solution for petrol stations' network
Ouhel, Radek ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Jašek, Pavel (referee)
The main idea of this thesis is to find an optimal Business Intelligence solution for monitoring and analysis of petrol stations, which would be provided as a complementary product to the current production system, and would aim to contribute both to the business of the customer, and provider of this software. Main goal is to design the solution, as well as to develop consequent marketing strategy, all the while taking many factors into consideration. These factors are e.g. status of current production system, competitive environment, customer requirements and many others. In order to fulfill the goal, extensive research of relevant literature and academic publications has been performed. Main areas of interest in this research were marketing strategy development methodologies, licensing and pricing policies, IT project management methodologies and Business Intelligence theory. Thesis also uses a lot of company's internal information, such as the data structure and quality of the database, or prevailing needs and requests of current customers. Contribution is the sole demonstration of combining various internal and external factors, taking into account whilst designing the solution. The thesis demonstrates, that Business Intelligence in its broader definition, may for certain groups of customers result in an original and non-conventional solution. Non-conventional both from the perspective of features and components, as well as the tools and development environments used to implement it. Thesis begins by researching given sources. The research is followed by the theoretical part, describing general Business Intelligence principles relevant to the topic. Fourth chapter foreshadows the current status-quo, informing about features and architecture of current production system, data sources and also about a current business strategy of the company providing Europos software. Current status-quo in relation to the external environment is described in the next chapter, where competitive and market analyses are conducted. The sixth chapter sums up the facts from previous chapters, and transforms them into concrete customer requirements regarding the form and content of future solution. Based on those requirements, conceptual design of the solution is made in chapter seven, which also includes the solution's increment delimitation. Chapter eight describes selected tools for the solution, and refines the design by more specific physical data model diagrams. Final solution is depicted and described in chapter nine. Finally, the thesis ends with chapter eleven, where all categories of marketing mix are designed, therefore there is a clear vision of how, and for how much would the product be offered and sold to the customer.

Hanušová, Barbora ; Pělucha, Martin (advisor) ; Potluka, Oto (referee)
The final thesis focuses on the transformation of the financing of the European Union structural policy between two programming periods 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. The first part presents the theoretical basis of analysed subject, and shows the development of the concept of economic and social cohesion, together with the experts' proposals to reform its financing. The second part contains the characteristics of problems and challenges of the European integration. The third part then in their context and based on the comparison of the multiannual financial framework 2007-2013 and 2014-2020 identifies and assesses the major changes regarding the European Union structural policy. Even if the interests and priorities of the Czech Republic are not always in line with the changes, the Czech Republic must respect them and implement them not only in their programming documents. Whether the changes are suitable for the Czech Republic, is reviewed in the last part of the thesis.

Čihák, Jan ; Šebesta, Karel (advisor) ; Vybíral, Petr (referee) ; Kvítková, Naděžda (referee)
Jan Čihák Code-switching of standard and colloquial Czech as a didactics problem Summary This dissertation examines the process of code-switching between so called standard and colloquial Czech in the process of education, especially in the language used by teachers in the classroom. Discussion about increasing use of colloquial Czech in broader situations and functions (based on previous research) among linguists is still present in various linguistic journals as it appears to be one of the central sociolinguistic problems of the Czech language. The main problems discussed in this dissertation are to what extent is the code-switching present in the teachers' speech in the classroom, what functions does it have in this specific area of communication and what (if any) are the features of code-switching to be considered for further teaching of Czech. In the theoretical part, different functional aspects of, and linguistic points of view on this phenomenon in Czech language are analysed with regard to its impact on the education of contemporary Czech in secondary schools. The author also analyses the requirements on teachers' use of language set by curricular documents and relevant linguistic papers, according to which there appears to be less emphasis at present on the use of standard Czech in classrooms,...

Wolfgang Koeppen's novels: "Littérature engagée" and experimental prose
Spěváčková, Tereza ; Tvrdík, Milan (referee) ; Stromšík, Jiří (advisor)
This dissertation discusses the post-war trilogy of the German writer Wolfgang Koeppen (1906-1996): Tauben im Gras (1951), Das Treibhaus (1953) and Der Tod in Rom (1954). The first part of this paper gives a political-cultural concise of the years 1945-1965, with an emphasis on the fifties. At that time Germany goes through the process of the economic-mirage and according to this the Germans get back their lost self-assurance. By the same mail is increasingly obvious, that the vision of a complete beginning failed and that the conservative policy of Adenauer follows the beaten track of the pre-war period. From urgent political questions of the year 1945 the German interest turns over to security their own prosperity, middleclass comfort. The horrors of war seem to be forgotten and instead of the "collective guilt" comes the "collective amnesia". This fundamental change didn't stay unnoticed. A critical reflection happend mainly through the young authors united in the Gruppe 47. Beside their line and on the edge of the contemporary literary events Wolfgang Koeppen delivers his loud protest against the post-war development of the German society. In the following part, which sets up the crux of the whole paper, is given an analysis of the individual novels in the context of the time of their appearance and the...

Czech literature under the shadow of the Third Reich
Borovička, Lukáš ; Janáček, Pavel (referee) ; Holý, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to re-construct the mentality of the 1930s in Czechoslovakia. Methodologically, it is based on the Belgian concept of "worldview" (Center Leo Apostel), "a symbolic system of representation that allows us to integrate everything we know about the world and ourselves into a global picture." From this perspective, every text represents a certain worldview (the boundary between literary and nonliterary texts isn't relevant). Stanley Fish's notion of "interpretative community", defined generally, is transferred into literary history, where it allows to divide cultural field into plural subcultures. In the second part, I analyse the identity of the nation in terms of cultural and political relations with other countries. The Sudeten crisis means crisis of the national identity, questioning of the state borders and thus of the existing Order. Other tendencies, typical for the Czech literature of the 1930s, are the disputes between democratic and totalitarian principles, between Modernism and Conservatism, between apolitical and politicized literature. Other current topics are e.g. reflection of a Jew, conception of "labour" and in this framework oscilation between Masaryk's democratic conception and forced labour in the context of dictatorship or the vision of the "crisis of civilization"...

Care for Employees as a Tool of Human Resources Management
Honová, Marie ; Urbancová, Hana (advisor) ; Fajčíková, Adéla (referee)
Employee care is currently one of the main pillars of every organization. It´s importance is growing mainly in the context of a competition between businesses and a long-term prosperity of the market. Almost every company recognizes the need of effective utilization of human resources, together with the provision of material and financial resources. This bachelor thesis therefore deals with the employee care as a tool for personnel management. The main objective of this thesis is to identify and evaluate the method of security of employee care in the particular organization, company DP WORK, s. r. o. To obtain the information needed to develop this work was analysed literature, legal standards and internal company documents. Results were achieved on the basis of a quantitative survey. There were used methods of interviewing by questionnaire. The main conclusions of the work are that the employee care in DP WORK, s. r. o. operates largely effective. It is based on the value systém of the company and is based on the vision and strategy of the company. Employees would appreciate a new approach from senior executives, based on communication, motivation and general support. The biggest shortage of the employee care is seen in the discrepancy between work and private life, lack of educational opportunities and disparate expectations from both the manager and the employee.
