The integration of the enterprise applications with manufacturing equipment

This bachelor thesis is focused on the integration of the enterprise applications with manufacturing equipment. The goal of this study is to analyze and evaluate the level of implementation of the ANSI/ISA-95 standard into the environment of the car components supplier in the Czech Republic. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to get to know the individual parts of the ANSI/ISA-95 standard and put the standard into the enterprise information system. The next step is to form the methodology with which it is possible to do the analysis of the competence of the chosen environment of the manufacturing company for this standardization. On the basis of these steps the goal of this thesis was fulfilled. The contribution of this work is in the collection of the information about the ANSI/ISA-95 standard and its inclusion into the structure of the enterprise information system. It is also the first work in the Czech Republic focused on this standard in such detail.
Industry Specific Dashboard Design for Set of Solitea Holding ERPs

Subject of honor thesis is self-service business intelligence. Its goal is to prove that it is pos-sible to create a unified industry-specific dashboard above set of different ERP systems. First part familiarizes readers with the main theme of the paper, business intelligence, and selected tool for dashboard creation, Microsoft Power BI. The next part characterizes Soli-tea holding of which project is used and described later in this paper. There is also a place for analysis of all ERP systems provided by the group, from which is in the end chosen a sample for dashboard design. Own contribution to this field of study is proven fact that it is possible to achieve universal business intelligence solution in Power BI in a manner of single dashboard above any ERP system.
Analysis and solution design of document management

The main subject of the thesis is to analyze the current state of flux documentation in the Czech branch of the large company engaged in the production of rail vehicles. Included is also a newly proposed solution, which should reduce costs and save time of workers in the company. The main goal is to design a solution that will reduce the running costs compared to the current flux of documents. It should be economical, meet all the requirements of the organization and similarly challenging, both hardware and servicing. The thesis describes the current system of documentation that is associated with production processes in the company. It also defines the most important group of documents that are intended for the production and processes of each department. Based on this analysis, it is suggested a comprehensive ERP system for administration and control of production, which is connected with the Document Management System (DMS) based on workflow, as well as a system of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Augmentation of equipment of the controllers with tablets and hiring printing administrator is also suggested. The thesis is divided into five main chapters. The first chapter provides the basic theoretical concepts that are associated with problems of document management. The second chapter describes the analyzed company, the actual document types and environments in which they occur and documents are created in it. The third chapter analyzes the actual process of flux of documents of each department relating to the production itself. The fourth chapter describes the current state with its shortcomings, and in the fifth chapter a proposed solution is described.
Analysis of supply of ERP systems for small and medium businesses delivered by SaaS in the Czech Republic

The aim of this work is the issue of Enterprise Resource Planning offered by way of Systems as a service and the suitability of this implementation for small and medium enterprises. Theoretical part describes the genesis and development of Enterprise Resource Planning, their functionality and purpose. There's also specified the term Cloud computing, its principles, advantages and disadvantages and options of distribution. One of the principles of the distribution, System as a Service is described in detail, including the necessary Service-level agreement, and its capabilities in providing Enterprise Resource Planning. The practical part of the work consists of developing a comprehensive overview of the Czech market of Enterprise Resource Planning offered in the form of rent System as a Service. This list is analyzed from the perspective of a key customer for this product, namely Small and medium enterprises. The last part of this work consists of obtaining customer references and supplier experiences from already realized projects.
The Process of Implementing the Enterprise Resource Planning System in the Company

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the process of evaluation and selection of proper ERP system for company, and summarizes the steps leading to its successful implementa-tion. The thesis tries to cover all the steps from selecting software distributor and sign-ing a contract, to pilot operation and evaluation of implementation results, using specif-ic metrics. In the end, I choose three best known local ERP systems and briefly refer about them.

Enterprise Information System in Cloud Computing Era

The thesis deals with the latest trend in providing ICT service -- Cloud Computing -- and its possible application in enterprise information systems generally. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate market readiness for Cloud Computing services in order to find out to which extent it is possible to cover enterprise information system, or rather its software applications, on strategic and tactical management levels using the above-mentioned services. To achieve the aim, it is necessary to determine both the Cloud Computing services market and the enterprise information system sphere and then to decide whether Cloud Computing services are able to cover the basic needs of enterprise information systems. The evaluation of the market readiness will be executed in accordance with both the specially created methodology and the defined requirements. Thus the present market readiness rating will be possible to determine. The thesis should show to which extent it is possible to apply Cloud Computing model to the enterprise information systems issue. It will also be possible to find out the factors which support this application the most and, on the other hand, which factors limit this application the most. The thesis will also show which fields are advanced enough, which services we can consider and what we can expect of these services.
Analysis of implementation of chosen Enterprise Resource Planning systems

This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of implementation of business information systems. There are given theoretical guidelines for choosing, implementing and checking of information systems. This thesis is focused on Enterprise Resource Planning software; nevertheless it is applicable to other information software as well. Theory is confronted with the real business data gathered from Czech companies by the means of structured interview, on-line forms and by reading case studies. On the basis of analyzed data it is verified whether the guidelines are followed.
The model of ERP system users behavior in post-implementation phase

The master thesis deals with ERP implementation projects, especially in context of post-implementation phase. It examines the impact of user behavior on the realized benefits of the newly established information system. Important point of the thesis is the acceptance of the system by users and their resistance to change. Significant causal relationships with the potential to influence successfull ERP implementation are described. By using system dynamics approach the model is created and simulations are then carried out. Subsequently, the results are presented and analyzed.
