Ménová, Martina ; Malá, Markéta (advisor) ; Brůhová, Gabriela (referee)
The present thesis deals with phrasal compounds, which are generally considered a marginal type of English word-formation. The theoretical part of the thesis aims to define phrasal compounds and differentiate them from standard compounds. It draws on both Czech and foreign secondary literature, and summarizes the approaches of different authors, but it relies mostly on the Czech traditional approach. The research part presents an analysis and a classification of 139 phrasal compounds excerpted from contemporary British news websites, where they often appear as witty neologisms. The compounds are examined from the point of view of both their syntactic function and internal structure (a-/symmetrical structure, presence of conjunctions and prepositions, semantic relations between constituents). Based on the analysis, the specific features of phrasal compounds are presented in the conclusion of the thesis.

Brabcová, Romana ; Dovalil, Vít (advisor) ; Doležal, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the morphosyntactic properties of selected Anglicisms and methods for their integration into German. In the first part of this work the basic concepts are identified and defined. The second part examines the verbs, which were taken from the English language due to their formation, orthographic, phonetic, and especially morphosyntactic integration. Further described is the separability and inseparability of prefixes in current grammar books and dictionaries, as well as portability features of non-German prefixes. Attention is paid to the verb downloaden. On the basis of questionnaires, which were answered only by native speakers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, as well as spontaneous situations and corpus analysis in digital German dictionaries, data was collected and analyzed. It describes the use and separability and inseparability of the prefix down. The criteria include the use of stylistic elements, binding the types of texts and genres in which the examined forms occur. The question remains whether the rules and separability and inseparability of foreign prefixes can be applied even on the verb downloaden? The findings suggest that the basis for the German word down is unclear and used as well as a separable but also as an inseparable verb.

Bioaerosols
Hladíková, Dita ; Hovorka, Jan (referee) ; Hůnová, Iva (advisor)
Bioaerosols and aerobiology are similar terms associated with the study of chemical, physical and biological fields. Bioaerosols in the air is a part of the aerosol containing particles of biological origin, such as viruses, bacteria, fungal spores, house dust mites and pollen. These particles can affect health of living organisms in terms of allergies, toxicity, carcinogenicity or infection and ultimately affect the planet's climate system because of acting as condensation nuclei for the formation of precipitation. The most studied biological effects of the above-mentioned on human health are reported respiratory symptoms and pulmonary diseases. This is due to almost continuous human exposure to these particles, both in the domestic environment, which includes mainly house dust mites, animal allergens, molds and bacteria, and outdoors, where a person is exposed to pollen and outdoor molds. In the case of interference with the climate system of the Earth there is a direct or indirect influence. Indirect effects include the creation of clouds and precipitation, which has the effect on the hydrological cycle of the planet. Scattering and absorption of solar radiation is considered a direct effect on climate change. Foreign literature was a crucial source of information on this topic.
