Application of methods of experiential education in corporate trainings

The bachelor thesis discusses possible applications of the experiential learning method in adult education, mainly in professional training. The thesis defines the experiential pedagogy concept and covers the history of this area of pedagogy. It focuses on games as an important experiential learning tool as well as on conditions of their application in the development of adults. It explains how to prepare a game for adults and how to work with it to make it a real developmental tool. One section of the text focuses on outdoor trainings as a form of experiential pedagogy. It describes what principles the outdoor training is based on and which specific conditions the outdoor training must comply with in order to become an efficient and safe tool for the development of professional competences, and not only the means for entertainment and/or active relaxation for the course participants. The text mentions several types of programmes used, i.e. games and exercises that may be included in outdoor courses as well as possible objectives that may be achieved through these programmes. Not only benefits but also limitations that are not negligible are mentioned. The final part of this bachelor thesis shows the outline of current trends in the application of experiential pedagogy and/or outdoor development.

Tourism of wheelchair users in national parks of Czechia

The theme of this thesis is a specific form of tourism - the tourism of wheelchair users in national parks of Czechia. The definition of basic terms and needs of wheelchair users is described in a theoretical part of thesis. Most of the thesis surveys option in specific national parks, it focuses on hiking trails with use for paraplegics specifically and their classification. The availability of information and available resources is key aspect for persons with reduced mobility. The main output is unified classification of hiking trails for wheelchairs users becouse there is not unified classification of hiking trails in specific national parks nor in Czechia. The unified classification has been applied for concrete trails in specific national parks. Created classification has been consulted with specialists in this domain and wheelchair users together. The feedback shows real possibility of use in practices and its benefit for people with reduces mobility. Modelling of Economic Efficiency of Transport Infrastructure Projects

This diploma thesis deals with a cost-benefit analysis of investments in road infrastructure. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part includes a description of the cost-benefit analysis procedure and a deeper description of evaluating investments in road and highway constructions. The practical part deals with the specific investment for the construction of highway. This involves applying information from the theoretical part to this specific investment and evaluating the economic efficiency, including risk analysis. The main indicator of the economic efficiency is the net present value.

The Czech Republic before ICSID

The aim of this thesis is to describe the legal investment disputes settled within the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, where one party of a dispute was the Czech Republic or a Czech national. The thesis has three main chapters. The first is theoretical, and describes the structure, function and jurisdiction of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes. The next two chapters focus on specific 'Czech' cases, which were settled before the Centre. The first dispute was between the Czechoslovak Trade Bank and the Slovak Republic and the second was between the Israeli company Phoenix Action Ltd. and the Czech Republic. Both cases are very interesting, not only legally but also factually. Benefits for future decision-making practice is considerable. In the first case, it is an even greater extension of the term 'investment' by broad interpretation of the arbitral tribunal, the second emphasises the principles of non-retroactivity and good faith as other aspects of international investment interpretation.

The Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of employee benefits and their incentive influence on employees. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the term employee benefits, explains tax measures, describes theories of work motivation and current trends in this area. The main aim of the following practical part is to analyse the system of employee benefits in concrete company and suggest steps to optimalization of the system.

Helpdesk process evaluation in terms of customer satisfaction

This diploma thesis describes the general process of corporate helpdesk. There is described a history, purpose and function of helpdesk, further benefits for the company using of a helpdesk. The work mentions ITIL, framework for management services in company. One chapter devotes the effectiveness of process in terms of customer satisfaction, which is focused on communication. The second half of diploma thesis is focused on the practical part of using helpdesk in existing company. The work analyses effectiveness of helpdesk process in this company. The results are interpreted in the final recommendation.

Motivation programs of organizations

This paper gives an overview from the field of motivation and shows the necessity of motivation theories knowledge for later planning and designing of motivation programs. In the beginning this paper introduces the most basic terminology of motivation and stimulation as well as other important terminology. It describes sources of motivation, gives an overview of the most famous theories of work motivation and their strenghts and weaknesses. In the field of work motivation, it describes how to stimulate employees effectively. Later on there is a description of satissfaction surveys, how to create them and how the satissfaction vary at the czech labor market. In the end chapters there is a description of motivation programs issue, there is a recommendation for creation of motivation programs, there is also a motivation program of existing company.
