Evaluation of Tertiary Education in EU Countries

Diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním systémů terciárního vzdělávání v zemích Evropské unie s využitím metod vícekriteriálního hodnocení variant. Teorie vícekriteriálního rozhodování slouží k usnadnění a objektivizaci rozhodovacích procesů. Použití rozhodovacích metod sice významným způsobem snižuje vliv hodnotícího subjektu, stále ale v těchto úlohách přetrvávají subjektivní faktory, které nelze nikdy zcela vyloučit. Takovými faktory, které jsou závislé na uživateli postupu a ovlivňují výsledky hodnocení, jsou například: použitá metoda hodnocení variant; relevance použitých kritérií; množina kritérií, podle kterých se varianty budou vyhodnocovat a množina hodnocených variant.

Deflace a měnová politika (se zaměřením na deflaci na přelomu 20. a 21. století, zejména na Japonsko)

Tato práce pojednává o deflaci a přístupu k deflaci z pozice ekonomie hlavního proudu a rakouské ekonomické školy. Dále se zabývá hlavními deflačními obdobími v době fungování zlatého standardu a následně v období po jeho skončení. Hlavní zaměření je na deflaci v jednotlivých zemích v období na přelomu 20. a 21. stol., přičemž zvláštní pozornost je věnována deflaci v Japonsku. Práce analyzuje faktory deflace v Japonsku a možnost zapříčinění deflace měnovou politikou. Sestrojený index měnových podmínek neodhalil měnovou politiku jako faktor vzniku deflace, hlavní důvody jsou spatřovány ve strukturálních problémech Japonska. V poslední řadě práce odlišuje pojmy deflace a změna relativních cen a zabývá se otázkou adekvátní měnové politiky.

Obnova zahrady Bratmannovy vily ve Valašských Kloboukách

The theme of the thesis is a reconstruction of villa garden, which was formed in the late 19th and early 20th century in the Czech lands. In order to obtain knowledge about the form of villa gardens, this thesis focuses on literature review and studies books written by landscape architects of the period. Last but not least, it studies the work of those architects and recent publications of garden architects and architectural historians. Twenty villa gardens were visited to evaluate their status and current use. Four out of nineteen are already reconstructed therefore the approach to villa garden reconstruction will be presented here. Based on all of these studies and an analysis of the Bratmann villa garden in Valašské Klobouky, an architectural study was made. The study reflects possible original form of that garden, design of other reference villa gardens at the time and also current use of Bratmann villa garden.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the individual diplomatic protocols of the Czech Republic and the USA and their social and business etiquette. It focuses on the theoretical terms connected to the topic and explains the functions of the protocol offices of the Czech Republic and the USA as well as the order of precedence in these two countries. Furthermore, the following work broadens etiquette knowledge and illustrates the differences between the etiquettes of the two above-mentioned countries on the basis of the selected rules such as social advantage, addressing, social events, clothing and so on.

SUMMARY Concept and nature of fingerprinting The purpose of my thesis is to completely examine the issue of dactyloscopy and introduce this forensic method, both the theoretical and practical parts. It deals with the historical development of dactyloscopy, the legislation in the Czech Republic, finger- print impression, capture, constancy, detection and comparison. For greater clarity and orientation, the thesis is composed of several parts - each dealing with different aspects. It is also supplemented with pictures that help to imagine a particular thing. Chapter One contains an introduction which gives a general view of dactylosco- py as a forensic method. Chapter Two deals with the historical development and important personalities of dactyloscopy. It explores the origins of knowledge of fingerprint patterns in ancient times and also focuses on the pioneers of dactyloscopy. The chapter is subdivided into three parts. Part One deals with Jan Evangelista Purkyně who first described and classi- fied the basic patterns of friction ridges on distal phalanges. Part Two mentions the world personalities of dactyloscopy (for example Francis Galton, Juan Vucetich, Henry Faulds). The development of dactyloscopy in the Czech Republic is included in Part Three. The objective of this work is to extend knowledge about accounting and history of housing cooperatives, which corresponds to structure of work. The first chapters deal with cooperatives, their history in the Czech lands, and legislation. I put mind to housing associations in particular in next chapter. The second part is devoted only to matters of accounting practices related to housing associations. The conclusion is devoted to the financial statements.

Podnikání na světových trzích: porovnávací studie

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to make the reader aware of the history, culture, and economy of the three countries: Russia, China, and Saudi Arabia. The thesis is divided into three parts, dedicated to the topics mentioned above. There is a conclusion presented at the end of each chapter that explains and compares the three countries. Before entering a foreign market, one must learn and become aware of these three main areas, as it (the knowledge) can be used as a helpful and informative aid when doing business in these countries that have a very high potential, interesting history, complex culture, and economy.

Comparison of the development of income taxes in the Czech Republic and Slovakia after 1992 I have chosen the subject of my thesis, a comparison of a development of the income tax in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia after 1992, mainly for vocational reasons. As a tax adviser I have been confronted with a need to be familiar not only with the Czech tax law but also with the Slovak one as a result of an extension of the business of some of my clients to the territory of Slovakia. Besides I consider a comparison of the laws of two countries that were parts of a common state before mere 20 years and had thus also a common legal order as useful also for the study of the Czech law. With regard to the language proximity of the both states it is easily possible to confront the Czech law regulations with the Slovak ones and to extend one's knowledge also during the study of these regulations. The thesis consist of four parts. In the first part the development of the law taxes of the both states is described briefly from the partition of the federation until the present time. The second part is the main section of the thesis. The trade with beer in the Czech Republic and Germany

The Czech Republic and Germany are inseparably connected with a tradition of the brewing. However, both countries went through a different way of a political as well as economic development during the last 60 years. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out, if it is possible to predict the development of the Czech beer industry according to the knowledge of the development of the brewing in Germany. The first chapter concentrate on the history of the beer industry and kinds of beer. The second part deals with the analysis of the domestic trade with emphasis on the retail and also export and import. The next chapter focuses on the adopted measures which highlight the uniqueness of the Czech and German beer and finally the characteristics of the domestic markets and the most successful companies in these countries are introduced.

Business cards and their use in international business

The business card as a tool for exchanging basic contact information plays an important role in international business. The first section of this bachelor thesis deals with the history of both paper and electronic business cards. The first section also describes the formal requirements of business cards, the use of academic and company titles, as well as the use of abbreviations. The seconds section classifies personal, company and diplomatic cards. The chapter then deals with the actual exchange of business cards in different countries. It gives examples of the exchange in Asian countries, in Europe, in the USA, in Canada and Latin America. The fourth part of the thesis introduces some of the new trends in exchanging contacts electronically such as e-mail business card, e-mail signature, CD business card, Poken, card reader, or sharing the contact information with the help of mobile phones. This chapter is followed by the results of the survey designed to discover the quantity, frequency, and general knowledge of paper business cards as well as the new technology.
