Analysis of czech insurance market and prognosis of its future development

This bachalor thesis is concerned with the insurance market in the Czech Republic since the very beginning of "insuring" until the modern days, when the domestic insurance market is integrated into the European Union. The thesis comprises four individual parts. The first unit deals with the development of insurance system. The following chapter relates the contemporary situation of the Czech insurance market. In the third part, the Czech insurance market is compared to the markets of other countries which joined the EU in 2004. Besides that, an analysis of present period of stagnation of the insurance market is introduced. The last chapter contains the principles the European insurance market is based on. It also embodies the gradual process of integration of the Czech insurance market into the EU.

Early Baroque Altars in Prague

ENGLISH ANNOTATION This paper discusses Prague altars that were crafted in the early-baroque years between 1620 and 1680. It contains a brief outline of the historical period during which baroque style was making its entry in the Czech lands. For the restoration of the catholic religion by means of art were used as well. The baroque church combined all kinds of arts in its complexity. The main attention of its builders was paid to altar constructions, most often wooden ones. This paper then analyzes the history and typology of the altar and its components - the altar table, the retabulum (altar leg) and the tabernacle (sanctuary). The overall development of early-baroque altars dated from late-renaissaince mannerism to the beginning of top-baroque is discussed, together with the metamorphosis of the altars' architectural concepts, the artistic perfection of the altars and of their decorative elements. Both preserved and some non-preserved altar constructions located in Prague (in the area of Hradčany, Lesser Town, Old Town and New Town) are listed and described in this paper. České Budějovice- town and water

The thesis deals with the characteristics of the town of České Budějovice focused on the hydrological situation, the coexistence of the town with water and the use of water surface areas. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part summarises firstly, the information dealing with geographical physics secondly, socioeconomic information. It is followed by a detailed analysis of the main rivers, the Vltava and the Malše, which flow through the monitored territory. There is also a chapter aimed at the system of ponds in the defined location. From a historical point of view there are mentioned mainly interventions of nature itself in the life of the town in the chapter dealing with floods. The second application part includes the historical analysis of the evolution of the river bed and the water surface areas in the territory of České Budějovice, which was made up on the basis of comparing maps and information from the beginning of the 18th century up to the present. The anthropogenic activity and its influence on the town of České Budějovice itself is presented in the section solving the endangered water surface areas. This part also contains a case study dealing with the possibility of solving these hazards and risks in the countryside. The output of the thesis also includes the creation of promotional materials, which could be used as teaching supplementary materials at primary schools.

Teacher in e-learning

The aim of this paper was to examine and describe the role of the teacher in a specific and relatively new area of the English language teaching - e-Iearning. As the basis for the analysis, the role of the teacher in the instructional process in general was looked into in the introductory part. Teacher was first analysed generally, as they are described in literature on teaching psychology and sociology. Further on, the analysis narrowed down to educational theories and the roles they assigned to teachers. Moreover, the literature of the teacher of English as a Foreign Language was looked at and the roles that modern methodology assigns teachers were commented on. We have found out that although modern 75 methodology calls for learner-centred instruction, the teacher plays an irreplaceable role in the process and all methods and educational theories are at least partly delimited by the role of the teacher.

Political and economical context of piracy in the American shores

The story of piracy in Spanish America begins with Treaty of Tordesillas. But its origins laid in the comercial and political rivalry between Spain and European states. However first challengers of Spain's monopoly weren't pirates but more interlopers. Spanish's bullion from Peru and other products from West Indies was according to law exchangeable only for Spanish merchandise and only by Spanish subjects. This state was in the second half of the sixteenth century attacked by attempts of England - one of the rising modern national states. From this point of view the Pirate zone in New world was a important stage of international warfare among European realms-states. Apart off this international turmoil stood, but not too far, rejection of Catholicism by Henry VIII. and later again by Elizabeth I. This issue was in the air for more than fifty years. Not even assaults of Spanish Armada could shut down voices of protestants in England in such twilight. The religious struggle should be considered like one of many episodes which defined the emerging nation states. Centuries of legendizing created myths about Francis Drake and John Hawkins. In contemporary times internet plays without doubts, a key role in our life. It is one of the most effective information channels of modern economy and a powerful tool of citizen society. Great number of new web pages is created daily and the competition is becoming stronger. This Diploma Thesis is dealing with the information architecture of web pages and applications an its significance for projects of Web2.0 In our territory, "information architecture" is relatively new term and therefore, the first part of the thesis endeavor to define it. It attempts to emphasize that the web page is not a pretty picture only but it must contain well-designed communication of the goals of the page creation. For attaining them, it is essential to define precisely the expectation at the very beginning. On the other hand, it is also necessary to have on mind the web users who opens the page for to fulfill their specific needs and with their own expectations. Web page therefore should meet both the goals of the designers and expectations of the users. Further part of the introductory chapter deals with the history of the information architecture having its roots in the sphere of the information design. Beside other topics, there is discussed the work of Ladislav Sutnar, who significantly contributed to the development of this topic. The following chapter deals with the process of the information architecture design proper. It is not a detailed instruction for web page creation, but rather a description of individual steps and factors able to influence substantially the web page presentation success. The last part is devoted to the recently frequently referred phenomenon of Web 2.0. There was attempted to describe its principles and answer the question whether it is only an empty word used as attractive label for promotion of certain projects or really a new direction in the web development. Then there is discussed the influence of Web 2.0 on the information architecture and whether this topic is for its design necessary at all.

This bachelor thesis deals with modern marketing trends. The main emphasis is pointed on Internet marketing, which is devoted the bulk of this work. The reader is aware, at the beginning, with basic definitions of Internet marketing, which could help to better understand the specific context mentioned in this work. Further, the theoretical part deals with the question what extent is the internet marketing for the company necessary and describes its possible use in practice. Author of the work takes into account the trends predictioned by well known expert in the field of internet marketing, Larry Chase. Opening practical part is devoted to basic information about the company IRBOS Ltd., which has shown interest in the use of modern marketing trend. Another section describes the process of implementation of internet marketing.

The position of unit linked and classical life insurance on Czech insurance market

This paper covers the topics of life insurance, with focus on classical and unit linked insurance. The first part characterizes the significance and importance of life insurance as whole, and the other part describes individual types of life insurance. These types of life insurance are risk life insurance, classical life insurance, unit linked life insurance and modern unit linked life insurance. There is also a whole part of additional covers to life insurance and the most important are characterized in a single chapter of this paper. Currently there is several tax allowances connected with life insurance and the paper is focusing on clarification of tax savings of employee, tax savings of employer and savings of employer on wage expenses. The final part of this paper is an analysis of current situation and evolvement of classical and unit linked life insurance on Czech insurance market and also covers the main factors, which are influencing this evolvement of the life insurance market.

ANALYSIS OF POLICE CRISIS STAFFS FOR RESOLVING CRISES

This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The thesis examines the level and preparedness of crisis staffs members of territorial departmens of the Policie Directorate of South Bohemian region, including the Crisis Management Crisis Staff of the Regional Police directorate of South Bohemia. The theoretical part describes the crisis staffs of the territorial departmentsof the Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region and the Regional Crisis Staff of South Bohemian police directorate, their composition, mission, tasks and position within the Police of the Czech Republic. In the practical part the consultations with each Commissioner of the local departments crisis management of the Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region and with the head of Crisis Management of the Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region were made. Consultations are focused on crisis management and theoretical, material and practical preparedness of the crisis teams. Furthemore, in the practical part results of the questionnaires, which dealt with the composition of police officers in the staffs and their theoretical knowledge of crisis management were processed and evaluated. The most important findings of the research are summarized in the conclusion. There are also evaluated hyphotheses and objectives defined at the beginning of the work and proposed possible solutions the problems in question.
