Managing and measuring of HR department´s contribution to the business targets

This thesis focuses on Human Resources in a company, it' s strategic managing and measuring it's contribution to the business. In theoretical part the main source is foreign literature and it analyses traditional and new conceptions of HR. It focuses on a role of HR director, as a main element of strategic level of HR and his/her role in a relation to the rest of a company and HR department. In practical part the thesis analyses a research, made among Czech companies, and comes into a conclusion, that the main cause of an unsatisfactory HR management in these companies is it's poor measurability. In the final, key part of the thesis it designs a process, which a company should follow in order to adopt a strategic HR and it's measurement by goals of a company.

The spiritual needs of pensioners in the residential home in Velká Bíteš Abstract: This theses focuses on spiritual needs of senior citizens living in the residential home for pensioners in Velká Bíteš. The theoretical part concentrates on the human needs, ageing and old age, healh and social services. It deals with spirituality, pastoral care, meaning of life and some religions. The practical part examinates the spiritual needs of pensioners in Velká Bíteš and tries to find out if these are sufficiently met. Further it maps the relation between the elderly to the faith, especially to some religious activities, and their cooperation with pastoral workers. The theses provides specific recommendations based on the results of the survay. The conclusion lists recommendations, which could be put into the practice and increase the quality of the spiritual care for senior citizens in residential facilities. Music director, music and software three agents of programing music in radio

This work deals with the interaction of human and non-human actors in the creative process. Its basic point is the notion of a socio-technological order, which works with equal access to human and non-human actors in social processes. The work is inspired by concepts from the selected studies, science and technology (Science and Technology Studies). Research follows the interaction of human and non-human entities using the example of programming music on the radio, namely the Czech Radio station for young listeners, Radio Wave. Field research was based on monitoring the interaction of three key players in the process of programming: music, selector software (used for programming most music radio stations worldwide) and the music director. The observation of mutual cooperation, induced effects, pressures, manipulation and the transformation of actors provides a comprehensive look at the creative process in which the software is not just a passive tool in the hands of its active user and music is not just obedient material in the hands of the reigning human creator, the music director. Possibilities and limits of co-operation of rural municipalities. Case study of municipalities in the region of the Bohemian Paradise

The presented thesis focuses on the phenomenon of the cooperation of rural municipalities. The cooperative mechanism is one of possible ways for small municipalities to solve problems resulting from their limited financial, material and human resources. The cooperation with neighbouring municipalities or other actors of spatial development allows them to realize projects and activities, that they otherwise could not realize themselves because of the costs or spatial extent of the project or activity beyond their territory. The main objective of the thesis is to classify several types of the cooperation in rural region and to apply these classifications to the model region. First the fundamental theoretical background and external and internal factors affecting the cooperation of municipalities are discussed. Further several classifications of the cooperation were compiled based on theoretical findings and recent research results. As research method, applied in model region, guided interviews with representatives of the selected rural municipalities were chosen. Quality of working life in the Czech Republic

Work is fundamental human activity which is an inevitable component part of every individual. The world of work is constantly changing and evolving and the quality of working life becomes an increasingly discussed topic. The main aim of the Thesis is to evaluate the current state of the quality of working and professional life in the Czech Republic and employee's chances to find the right combination between work and other activities. In the first part, theoretical basis of working life quality is described together with the requirements of the new generation coming into the labour market and the models by which the subjective issue is measured. The aim of the practical part was to determine the practical possibilities of work-life balance practices application in the Czech market and to assess whether there is willingness to deal with these programmes. Following the description of the significance of the work-life balance approach I introduce individual pillars on which the quality of working and personal life can be built. Then I compare the practical use of the WLB programmes by Czech companies with their HR marketing.

Human resources as a factor of rural development

Problems of rural development are influenced by changes in perception and conception of rural areas in developed countries, there is paradigm shift within the theory. It is reflected into the policy of single countries and into the structural policy of EU on the global level. Differentiated rural space requires differentiated approach in the form of local development which is based on endogenous potential. Activity and initiative of local human resources - human capital and especially social capital is able to cause differentiated development of rural areas. This thesis tries to confirm the relation between quality of human resources and level of rural development on the example of czech rural municipalities. Legal consequences of human gender-reassignment

This Bachelor Thesis deals with the issue of legal recognition of gender reassignment and its relation to human rights. First, it provides an overview of legislation that deals with this topic. It also contains the definition of gender identity, transsexualism and transvestism, development of transsexualism in the Czech Republic and the actual phase of a complete surgical sex change and of an administrative sex change, which includes alteration of personal data, documents, and especially changes to the personal identification number, to which this thesis is mainly focused. Sex change is also related to the termination of marriage, issues of personal status of human and property and family relationships.

The main theme of this work is motivation as an instrument of performance employees. It deals with the problem of human resources in business organizations, their management and development in connection with individual performance stimulation. The work is divided into three parts. The first methodic part describes motivation instruments used in a business organization. In the theoretical part are defined basic terms, selected motivation theories, principles of employee management. The second part describes motivation instruments used in a business organization. The last part is devoted to the research of satisfaction with the motivation instruments in organization. Motivation as a tool of performance management

The thesis focuses on the motivation of employees as a tool of their performance management at the property development company Crestyl real estate, s.r.o. Based on the results, a proposal is created which will lead towards improving the current situation in the mentioned business. This thesis is divided into two main sections, the first being theoretical and the second being practical. The theoretical section, based from literary sources, deals with the characteristics of human resource management, management and performance, motivation, theories of motivation, and incentive programs. The practical section begins with an introduction of the selected company, covering a brief description of the company's history, organizational structure, and business environment. Additionally, various benefits are described which are currently offered to employees. This is followed by the research questionnaire survey and an evaluation of its results. The results are based on suggestions and recommendations that should lead to increased employee motivation at the company.

Economical impact of human capital Development in the Compan

This thesis titled Economic impacts of human resource development is focused on the assessment of particular system, which is used in the context of human resource management to iprove working efficienci. The theoretical part is focused on the specification of human resource management, appearance and development. Generally, reference is made to performance management, motivation and stimulation of employees. I analyzed the methods of remuneration, performance evaluation and employee skills. In the partical part the particular company and applied human resources management system, a system of performance appraisal, employee skills and education. Part of this chapter is focused on a group of executives of the company. The findings are evaluated and designed a more appropriate way of motivating and rewarding. Finally, possibilities are summarized and recommendet for efficient improvments to existing system in society.
