The use of electronic banking in the accountancy

This thesis deals with the use of electronic banking in the accountancy. The goal is to introduce the concept of electronic banking and its impact on accounting. The thesis describes the development of accounting and the impact of computer technology on the processing of accounting records and financial documents. The term of electronic signature and electronic brand are explained, as well as the possibilities of their applicaton. The thesis is to define the various forms of client (company) communication with the bank institutions and development of electronic banking as well as a summary of its advantages and disadvantages. The aim of the practical part is to evaluate the current state of direct banking service in the Czech Republic. The appendix includes a table with a list of e-filing of chosen particular tax types and overview of the structure of the questionnaire on the use of electronic banking.
Credit cards on the internet

As a result of the fast development of information technologies, sellers began offering new ways of payment methods. In the Western Europe, North America or developed Asian countries credit and debit cards are deemed as a necessity among the vast majority of the population. This development has been reflected on the Internet as well. This dissertation focuses on payment methods that are nowadays available to the Internet users. The aim of this dissertation is to analyse the advantages and disadvantages of the various payment systems available in the Czech Republic; not only from the customers' point of view, but also from the perspective of business owners. Furthermore, this paper evaluates the possible risks associated with payments over the Internet, describes recent developments and predicts the future trends in this field by using statistical data.
The current state and development prospects of internet banking

The thesis deals with the most recent and discussed issue of the safe provision of direct banking services. Although surveys indicate that users of banking online services do not show much concern about the safety of the internet banking, the reality is quite different. Banking houses put a lot of emphasis on the information embargo and their clients will never learn about the majority of attacks. Due to higher demands for the safety of direct banking applications compared to conventional applications, made available over the Internet are subject to increasing security demands, and there are a number of recommendations and standards that should be followed for the Internet banking to be considered truly safe. However, even if there is a full compliance with all ISO standards and the situation in security remains critical. Therefore, there is a need for broader use of security methods. This thesis carries out a very comprehensive analysis of all existing security methods and recommends new security methods. For better clarity, the new method embedded in the context of existing and they are viewed from different angles as the effectiveness of authentication methods to the threats, the appropriateness of methods according to the segment, application methods in various channels, customer relationship and hardware components of the method, comfort, etc. Finally, I use the Gartner's chart to better illustrate the advantages of the proposed methods.
Electronic banking in the Czech Republic and its possibilities

This bachelor thesis is devoted to analysis of the current state of electronic banking and its possibilities in the Czech Republic. The main objectives are to familiarize readers with the concept of electronic banking and its forms. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept of electronic banking, its history, advantages and disadvantages for both the bank and for its clients. The second chapter explains the various forms of electronic banking: Credit cards, telephone banking, mobile banking, PDA banking, TV banking and internetbanking. The third chapter is focused on internet banking, and compares it in terms of security and range of services for selected banks. The fourth chapter includes a questionnaire aimed at determing the level of usage of the electronic and internet banking by citizens of the Czech Republic
Electronic banking in Czech republic and its possibilities

The aim of the bachelor's thesis "Electronic banking in Czech republic and its possibilities" is to analyze and bring closer electronic (direct) banking of the Czech Republic to readers and to map its current state. This thesis also defines the client's connection options with the bank throught various types of communication channels. In the first part of this thesis the reader will be apprised with the conception of the electronic banking and its basic features. Its followed by brief historical developement of direct banking in the world and in our country, fundamental differences between electronic and traditional bank, including the pros and cons from the prespective of banks and also from perspective of clients and next its security and potential risks of remote access to the bank. Initial part of this thesis is also the definition and distribution of the electronic money. The second part describes and briefly assesses various forms and communication channels of electronic banking used in Czech Republic. Among these forms are: credit cards, phonebanking, GSM banking, WAP banking, JAVA banking, PDA banking and computer banking including homebanking and internet banking. The final part of the bachelor's thesis covers the evaluation of the questionnaire focused on current exploitation of electronic banking services, and on mapping of public attitudes and preferences for direct banking as such.
The comparison of internet banking on student accounts in chosen Czech banking institutions

The thesis focuses on specification and comparison of services that are provided by ČSOB, KB, ČS and GE Money Bank. The thesis is built on internet banking and student accounts. The purpose of the thesis is to pin-point actual advantages of each banking-house on Czech market and its student accounts. The next step is to help potential client to imagine each banks internet banking viewing interface and to familiarize oneself with the way that banks deal with the information and financial instruments provided by the client. The first part focuses on explanation of basic terms that are linked with direct banking, nominally with student accounts and internet banking in pre-chosen banking entities. The gist of the second part is to describe in more detail parameters of each student product and to provide the reader with information about the security and basic login data that are needed for internet banking. The thesis includes preview of internet banking interface with witch the customers deal with on daily basis. At the end of each part that describes banking product of certain bank is its evaluation with author's feedback and findings. The third part puts together all services and summarizes them with a pick of the best product.
Present and future of internet banking in czech banks

The main aim of this thesis is to give detailed look on internet banking in the Czech Republic. The attention is concentrated into two aim fiels. The first part of this thesis describes history, statistics of users, services, application of internet banking in czech banks and changes in the czech banking. In the second part I characterize internet banking in the term of safety. This conception is very important for my work, because safety is the main enemy of internet banking.

This study concerns view of contemporary branch of bank. It shortly deals with history of bank branch in Czech environment after 1989. Further the study analyses its importance, advantages and disadvantages comparing direct banking - online banking in particular. The key point of the study is to answer the question if there is a future of branch of bank. Whether it will cooperate successfully with internet online channels of communication or it will be superseded by online banking at all.

The significance of personal data protection in the Czech Republic and in other developed countries has been continually increasing. A bank's security system breakdown can cause not only a misuse of the client's personal data but also a financial loss that harms the client and the bank reputation as well. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of the direct banking security and protection means of sensitive data of prime banks on the Czech market. First chapter characterises the consumer protection issues in regard of banking. The second part of the thesis concentrates on the area of direct banking, its forms, possible threats and the particular security tools used by local banks. Last section consists of an analysis of the survey among the banks and their clients.
