T.B.-some risk factors and their analyse
Kosová, Zuzana ; Príkazký, Vladimír (advisor)
The main risk group represent the population in the Czech Republic as well as in other developed countries the homeless and immigrants, who represent a high percentage among all TB patients. Currently the world is growing at risk of TB in particular HIV-related infection, where there is inter alia a risk of multidrug resistance. For other diseases, which mainly contribute to the reactivation of TB include diabetes mellitus. Another risk factor is immunosuppression by any mechanism, e.g., after use of immunosuppressants, corticosteroids, and others. Regarding professions, they remain the most vulnerable group of health care workers. TB incidence increases with age and is higher in males. Smoking and drinking alcohol are supportive factors rather than direct trigger TB. Czech Republic ranks among the countries with a low incidence of TB. TB situation in the Czech Republic in 2003 was stable, with no significant decrease in the number of notified when compared with 2002. Relations have been maintained in terms of the ratio of men and women, the proportion of TB respiratory and extrapulmonary TB patients and age structure. In the notification, there are still differences between regions, which also related to bacteriological verification. We can assume that a significant decrease notification with us already...

This diploma thesis deals with Ant Colony algorithms and their usage for solving Travelling Salesman Problems and Vehicle Routing Problems. These algorithms are metaheuristics offering new approach to solving NP-hard problems. Work begins with a description of the forementioned tasks including ways to tackle them. Next chapter analyses Ant Colony metaheuristic and its possible usage and variations. The most important part of the thesis is practical and is represented by application Ant Colony Optimization Framework. It is easily extensible application written in Java that is able to solve introduced problems. In conclusion this work presents analysis of solutions on test data.

Socio-economic situation of the self-employed persons
Neubertová, Kamila ; Krebs, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Kotýnková, Magdalena (referee)
The diploma thesis attends to socio-economic situation of the self-employed in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the diversity of their social security, which differs from employees, defines problems and offers possible solutions. Besides, it concentrates on income taxation of the self-employed and on the model examples it analyzes total tax burden of their income. Then it compares it to the two possible alternatives of this gainful activity - being employed or set up Limited Liability Company. On the base of analysis and comparing positives and negatives each possibility brings, decides which one is in the specific cases more convenient. These models should successfully solve the questions of suppliers rating as suitable method for minimizing of risk of suppliers.

Nurses and the way they take care of their own health and how it influences their treatment of patients.
LUKEŠOVÁ, Renata
The title of this work is: Nurses and their taking care of their own health and how it influences the level of professional healthcare provided. I have outlined three objectives and four hypotheses. First objective was to find out how the heath state of the nurses in Tábor hospital (nemocnici Tábor a.s., Tábor hospital further on) can influence the way in which they take care of their patients. Second objective was to find out how the nurses from Tábor hospital take care of their own health and the third objective is: To examine what patients from Tábor hospital think about nurses who work even with an ailment of a minor kind. With regards to these objectives I have outlined four hypotheses. When taking care of their patients, the nurses from Tábor hospital are not influenced by their own health issues. The nurses from Tábor hospital know ways how to improve their heath state. Patients from Tábor hospital consider it improper for those nurses who suffer even from a minor ailment to go on with their jobs. Patients from Tábor hospital consider nurses` professional occupation as being irreplaceable. The research was performed through surveys handed out to two research sets comprised of nurses and patients from Tábor hospital. Based on the research results I have confirmed all hypotheses and consequently all outlined objectives. This profession affects not only nurses{\crq} physical health but their mental health as well. Therefore it is necessary to coach the nurses on possible ways how to treat patients properly and about further risk associated with this working occupation. Furthermore, nurses should follow a healthy life style. This means enough of sleep, a healthy diet, prevention of the burn-out syndrome, and prevention of different ailments through prophylactic check-ups etc. I would like to have this work published in nurses{\crq} specialized magazines.

Modelování portfolií s risk faktory s těžkými chvosty
Kyselá, Eva ; Málek, Jiří (advisor) ; Fičura, Milan (referee)
The thesis aims to investigate some of the approaches to modelling portfolio returns with heavy-tailed risk factors. It first elaborates on the univariate time series models, and compares the benchmark model (GARCH with Student t innovations or its GJR extension) predictive performance with its two competitors, the EVT-GARCH model and the Markov-Switching Multifractal (MSM) model. The motivation of EVT extension of GARCH specification is to use a more proper distribution of the innovations, based on the empirical distribution function. The MSM is one of the best performing models in the multifractal literature, a markov-switching model which is unique by its parsimonious specification and variability. The performance of these models is assessed with Mincer-Zarnowitz regressions as well as by comparison of quality of VaR and expected shortfall predictions, and the empirical analysis shows that for the risk management purposes the EVT-GARCH dominates the benchmark as well as the MSM. The second part addresses the dependence structure modelling, using the Gauss and t-copula to model the portfolio returns and compares the result with the classic variance-covariance approach, concluding that copulas offer a more realistic estimates of future extreme quantiles.

The thesis deals with selected risk groups of unemployed in Moravian-Silesian region in the years 2006 to 2015. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to unemployment and individual risk groups, time series and characteristics of the Region. Own work is focused on the analysis of unemployment in the Czech Republic, Moravian-Silesian region and analysis of high-risk groups of people with reduced working capacity, a group of women and persons caring for children under 15 years of age, risk group of people over the age of 55 years and at risk groups of people according to educational structure. Predictions for the next development period is treated the choice of methods of time series. The analysis is drawn from the available data from the Czech Statistical Office from 2006 to 2015. The final section includes a proposal for measures to improve the future development of the individual groups.

The selected issues of adoption
Reisingerová, Michaela ; Hendrychová, Michaela (advisor) ; Šustek, Petr (referee)
Adoption sets up a legal kinship and imitates biological relations. That is why adoption holds a unique position in law. I chose this topic because of its particularity and importance of adoption. Due to the current recodification the adoption has undergone great changes which brought new issues that scientific work is trying to solve. As the title indicates, my diploma thesis deals with two particular problems of adoption. The text is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is rather short and serves as an introduction to the adoption theme. It briefly describes the purpose of adoption, its effects, classification and legislation. It is a base for the following chapters. The first issue is the current legislation of adoption conditions. After more than sixty years of adoption evolution as a substitute child care form, the legislation and legal theory developed and stabilized. The chapter deals with all conditions and classifies them. The new Civil Codex 89/2012 Statute Book of the Czech Republic accepts most of the statutes and developes them so the adoption keeps its importance. As the second issue I chose the adoption of adult. The chapter talks about roots of adoption in Roman law, its evolution on our territory and causes that led to its current prohibition. Large part of the chapter...
