Meet the needs communication near clients with dysacousia on ORL
HOLAROVÁ, Erika
The work was elaborated on the topic: Satisfaction of communication needs in patients with hearing disorder at ORL. Hearing disorders are most frequent diseases. Hearing goes impairing from puberty in human. In order that the nurse working at ORL can understand patients with hearing disorders, she must first understand their thinking and experiencing. Communication with such patients is very various and depends on the degree of seriousness of the hearing disorder with which the patients arrive to the hospital. The satisfaction of communication needs is integral part of nursing process. If the nurse conducts a conversation with the patient, she must pay attention not only to what the patient tells her, but she pays attention also to his nonverbal expression because it can indicate more than his verbal expression to the nurse. The nurse always selects suitable form of communication, which contributes to understand the patient. We have elaborated two types of questionnaires, for nurses and for patients. Both types included basic identification questions and further questions were directed so that we could find out whether the communication needs are being satisfied. From the data results obtained from the nurses, we found out that communication with patients with hearing disorders is not satisfied. It is confirmed also by the results of the questionnaires we had handed out to the patients. The hypotheses of our work was: The communication needs is more satisfied to clients with hearing disorders at ORL wards than at ORL outpatients department. This hypotheses is confirmed through the data obtained from the patients and the nurse. The work can be used for education of nurses of the Faculty of health and Social Studies and for improvement of nursing care performed by nurses working at the ORL ward and outpatients department.

Zhodnocení současného stavu a péče o vybraná chráněná území CHKO Lužické hory
Zícha, Jan
The aim of my work was to evaluate 14 small-scale specially protected areas, located in Landscape area Lužické hory. This evaluation was accomplished by the aid of Methodology of Evaluation of State and Management of Small-scale Protected Areas (Svátek, Buček, 2005). The total area assessed is the 286.75 ha. State of 2 areas was rated as excellent (grade 1), 9 areas were rated as good (grade 2) and 3 areas were rated as average (grade 3). Management of 4evaluated areas was rated as excellent (grade 1), management of 9 areas was rated as good (grade 2) and the last one area was rated as average (grade 3). The best criterions of the protected area state were the condition and the structure, whereas the worst assessed criterion was the other negative influences. The best criterion in evaluating the management was the documentation, on the other hand, the reduction of other negative influences criterion was evaluated as the worst one. The state of PP Pustý zámek was evaluated as the best, the state of PR Vápenka was evaluated as the worst. The management of PP Louka u Brodských was evaluated as the best, the management of PP Vápenka was evaluated as the worst.

Durability of Polyehtylene Ribbons from Netwrap
Huljak, Pavel ; Poláček, Petr (referee) ; Bálková, Radka (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the measurement of mechanical properties and accelerated aging of monoaxially stretched polyethylene strips coming from three types of polymeric mesh, which serves to pack hay on baling machines. The strength of the strips is evaluated from two points of view. The first one is static tensile strength measured before and after accelerated aging at 23 °C and 40 °C, the second one determines the strength as the weight that causes the strip failure on a simple machine at 23, 40, 60 and 80 ° C. The results show that the smallest static strength has the least stabilized strip, which, on the other hand, revealed the highest strength in a dynamic loading. The change of supermolecular structure was evaluated by calorimetric measurements. The data shown only very little change of inner structure due to the average response of the whole crystalline phase comprising relatively wide distribution of crystallites. It is more than probable that supermolecular structure had been changed but the method is not sensitive to see the change of orientation of lamellae and macromolecular chains in them.

The Master of Zvíkov Lamenting of Christ
Slávková, Gabriela ; Ottová, Michaela (advisor) ; Mudra, Aleš (referee)
The Master of Zvíkov Lamenting of Christ In the 1960' s this anonymous master was called František Kotrba, according to the work of Lamenting of Christ which was found in Zvíkov Chapel. The Master was active in the first quarter of 16th century and worked in the area of south-west Bohemia (Horažďovice, Kašperské Mountains), where quite a lot of his works were found. We rank the carver among the school constituency of the Master of Žebrák Lamenting of Christ who was one of the most important artists of Podunaj school in Bohemia, working probably in České Budějovice. Secular form works through the works of the Master of Zvíkov Lamenting of Christ. In comparison with the Master of Žebrák, the carvings are mostly moderate in the expression and partly simplified. On the other hand, the relief style is absolutely clear and precise, so the polychrome on the statues could be very thin. In this bachelor assignment I aimed to place the Master of Zvíkov Lamenting of Christ into the context of time, ask and answer the questions of his existence, but my main task was to make a catalogue of the most important works attributed to this master so far.

Succession after reintroduction of grazing in dry grasslands
Fulínová, Martina ; Hadincová, Věroslava (referee) ; Münzbergová, Zuzana (advisor)
Grazing management is very popular nowadays and number of sites with grazing animals with the aim of restoring the sites is steadily growing. All the effects of grazing on grazed grasslands are not elucidated yet. This thesis focused mainly on the contribution of zoochory to restoration of species rich grasslands on stands cleared from Robinia pseudoacacia and stands cleared from Prunus spinosa brushwood. For the purpose of monitoring changes in vegetation, permanent plots have been established. In order to identify sources of new species occurring in permanent plots, inventory of species growing in neighbourhood of the permanent plots has been done, samples of soil seed bank, sheep buttons and seeds from sheep wool have been germinated in a greenhouse. Monitoring of permanent plots showed reduced regrowth of R. pseudoacacia and P. spinosa. We have also found that greater changes in species composition occurred in more degraded stands than in stands better-preserved. Germinating experiments proved soil seed bank being mainly the image of aboveground vegetation with minor importance to restoration of species rich grasslands. On the other hand sheep seem to be of great use for dispersal of seeds both by epizoochory and endozoochory when walking between different stands. This finding is of great importance for...

Effects of multimodal warning siglals of Tritomegas sexmaculatus on reactions of bird predators
Binderová, Jana ; Exnerová, Alice (advisor) ; Kleisner, Karel (referee)
Aposematic animals advertise their defensive mechanisms to potential predators using warning signals. Signalling through more than one sensory pathway is called multimodal warning display. Most experimental studies of aposematism have been focused on the effect of a particular warning signal rather than on importance of multimodal signalling. Focusing on the multimodal signalling of real prey is the best way how to understand its effect in nature. The present study is focused on comparing the effect of multimodal warning display of insect prey with its particular warning signals on two species of bird predators. Multimodal warning signalisation of the burrowing bug, Tritomegas sexmaculatus consists of visual (black and white coloration), chemical (odour, possibly taste) and acoustic (stridulation) signals. We compared reactions of wild-caught great tit (Parus major) and blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) to three types of bugs with different warning displays. The non-manipulated bugs displayed multimodally, the brown painted bugs had their warning coloration manipulated and the dealatized bugs couldn't emit acoustic signals. The wild-caught birds of both species avoided all types of bugs. In an experiment with naive hand reared great tits we compared their reactions to non-manipulated and dealatized bugs. Naive...

Executive functions in patients with frontal code damage
Hůrková, Jana ; Šivicová, Gabriela (referee) ; Kulišťák, Petr (advisor)
Executive function testing is very difficult for many reason.s. In everyday life there are situations in which standard neuropsychological tests do not uncover damage of executive functions, which is utterly obvious. Therefore, the aim of the research was to verify one of the possibilities how to get executive function testing doser to reallife and this way to contribute to improving thc diagnosis of executive functions. In the research the performances of a group of 19 respondents with dysexecutive syndrome were compared with the performances of a control group of 19 healthy respondents. Both groups were tested in two testing situations - in silence (standard testing) and in noise (real conditions). The identical tests of the NEUROP-2 program were u sed in both situations, namely KIQ, PAARE, GO fNO-GO, LISEQ, HANOI and NATE tests. The PAARE, LISEQ and NATE tests have not confirmed a noise effect on any of the groups. On the other hand, the results of the KIQ and HANOI tests have shown that in noisy conditions the performances of the group of the people with dysexecutive syndrome have got worse. In the KIQ test this deterioration was statistically significant. Nevertheless, no significant differences between the performances of the group of the respondents with dysexecutive syndrome and the performances of...

Postprandial thermophily in reptiles
STUCHLOVÁ, Klára
Many ectothermic vertebrates, including some species of reptiles, raise their preferred body temperature after feeding, termed postprandial thermophily. Postprandial thermophily enable the animal to digest its meal at higher rate. However, most studies documenting this phenomenon have relied upon laboratory thermal gradients, with grossly oversimplify an animal's environment and the thermal gradient data may sometimes be misleading. On the other hand, in field or field enclosure, thermoregulation is just one concern among many (such as reproduction, predator avoidance, foraging) and the current biotic and abiotic factors may influence actual thermoregulation behaviour of the specimen. So there is the need for caution in interpreting results. Future research into the thermal ecology of ectotherms should take special care in the design of experiments and methodology. Study animals should be given microhabitats that approximate those they prefer in the wild.

Information on the environment
Švecová, Klára ; Franková, Martina (advisor) ; Humlíčková, Petra (referee)
Although these days, we can perceive the right for environmental information as something automated and quite natural in a democratic society, we must realize that it was far from it in the past. Hand in hand with the principle of secretiveness of state administration, the public had virtually no possibility to obtain information concerning not only the state of the environment but also general information concerning almost anything. It is not surprising after all because before 1989, neither the general right for information nor the right for environmental information were protected by law, less alone by the constitution. Nevertheless, the democratic changes which took place after the Velvet Revolution produced changes also in the field of the right for information and this right was, both generally - as a right for information, and specifically - as a right for environmental information, included in the legal regulation of the greatest legal force, the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, which became a part of the constitutional order of the Czech Republic on the basis of the resolution of the Czech National Council presidium No. 2/1993 Coll. On the basis of its constitutional protection, the right for environmental information was provided for also by law (Act No. 123/1998 Coll.) and...
