GNSS-RTK Precise Positioning for Engineering Applications
Grečnár, Jiří ; Talácko,, Milan (referee) ; Bureš, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with precision analysis, process optimization and repeatibility of GNSS-RTK measurements for surveying aplication. Measuring procedure, that enables determination of a spatial position with a permissible deviation less than 10mm, was tested based on previous published findings. The test procedure was tested on two sets of test measurements obtained during 27 h and 26 h observations in connection with CZEPOS. The results were later analyzed. The first set of measurements was measured by the RTK3-GG method (9 m and 60 km vectors) and computed by a network solution VRS3-MAX-GG. Both were in ideal conditions – ideal, not obstructed observational horizon and good availability of differential corrections. The second set was measured by RTK3-GG method (22 km and 62 km vectors) and computed by network solution VRS3-MAX-GG. Both were in adverse conditions - obstructed observational horizon and adverse availability of differential corrections. Precision analysis and design of appropriate filtering method and optimal measurement procedure were done based on the results obtained from the test measurements. Optimal measurement procedure was then tested by measurements in a three point network.

Changes of topics and their adaptation in the magazine Lidé a země in the years 1970, 1990 and 2015
Kargerová, Diana ; Halada, Jan (advisor) ; Čeňková, Jana (referee)
The work focuses on changes of topics and their adaptations in the travel magazine Lidé a Země in three periods of Czech history. Namely the years 1970, 1990 and 2015. Magazine Lidé a Země is one of the longest continuously published magazine in our country, based on the Czech market since 1952. It therefore serves as a good example of a magazine, which reflects the political and social situation in Czechoslovakia, respectively Czech Republic, from the mid-20th century to the present. The quantitative and qualitative content analysis of the magazine is focused on how the content of the magazine reflected the political and social changes in 1970 and 1990. Research on these two years was monitoring the number of mentions mainly dealing with states so-called Western countries and the so-called East countries. Years 1970 and 1990 were then compared in a comparative analysis. Furthermore, the work is focused on current media trends that are described on the example of the year 2015.

Moral, social and psychological issues in the works of Robert Louis Stevenson
Macura, Michal ; Clark, Colin Steele (referee) ; Beran, Zdeněk (advisor)
The works of Robert Louis Stevenson, as widely varied as The Treasure Island, "Markheim" and The Ebb-Tide are deeply immersed in social, psychological and moral issues peculiar not only to the Victorian age but also relevant to our own time. His is the very benign, unpretentious and fatherly view of mankind common to all great thinkers and insightful artists. In his prose he explores the character of human mind with its deformities and incapacities as well as its virtues, for to be true to life is, in Stevenson's own words, much more estimable than to idealize it. An honest critique of social illnesses is worth a great deal more than mere show of goodness, prudence and morality often required by the publishers and expected by the reading public of Victorian era. The present thesis concerns itself both with Stevenson's theoretical concepts and the practice of his writing. It discusses the motivation, realization and reception of the prevalent themes of Stevenson's prose: duality of one's character, internal struggle against social pressure, assumed respectability and criticism of oppressive policies. Along with these, it also deals with the man's need to stay truthful to his nature, a concept Stevenson defends with some energy both in his essays and his work. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Is pregnancy a disease?
KOUPALOVÁ, Martina
Pregnancy is a natural period in life of a woman. A woman usually becomes pregnant when being healthy and in a good psychical state, and looking forward to a positive (i.e. good) result together with her family. The Czech idiom ``a woman is in a different state{\crqq} is both fitting and incorrect. It is correct, as far as the physical and psychical changes affecting the pregnant woman are concerned; however, the idiom does not describe the degree and the dynamics of the changes. Pregnancy is not a state. It is a special process which, despite being physiological, is sometimes considered to be rather a disease, particularly when the physiological changes to the mother{\crq}s organism that accompany her pregnancy become highlighted. The objective of this thesis was to ascertain what the attitude of women themselves to their physiological pregnancy was. At the beginning, three hypotheses were determined. The first hypothesis is: ``Pregnant women feel manifestations of physiological changes of their organisms.{\crqq} The second hypothesis is: ``Pregnant women are sufficiently aware of the methods how to prevent or mitigate negative manifestations of pregnancy changes (that accompany pregnancy with a physiological course).{\crqq} The third hypothesis is: ``Pregnant women do not understand pregnancy with a physiological course as a disease.{\crqq} The first hypothesis was confirmed by the research {--} women understand physiological changes of the mother{\crq}s organism and their manifestations. The second hypothesis was also confirmed {--} the research revealed that pregnant women have sufficient information how to prevent or mitigate negative manifestations of physiological changes of the mother{\crq}s organism. Also the third hypothesis was confirmed {--} pregnant women really do not understand their pregnancy with a physiological course as a disease. The research was conducted following the quantitative method using questionnaires. I selected this method since it provides a large number of empirical data in a relatively short period of time while allowing the informants to remain anonymous. The questionnaires were distributed in gynaecological surgeries in České Budějovice and at the gynaecological-midwifery outpatient clinic in Tábor in February and March 2007. The total of 108 filled-in questionnaires was processed. The thesis will be utilized within the scope of education at the University of South Bohemia and will be published in the Internet. Pregnant women do not understand physiological pregnancy as a disease, even despite negative manifestations of physiological changes of the mother{\crq}s organism. This is a pleasing result of my thesis. Any pregnancy may become a risky or even a pathological process (for this reason, it is advisable to undertake the basic prenatal care), but if this is not the case, then pregnancy should be one of the most beautiful and happiest periods in the life of a woman and she should enjoy and understand it this way.

20th years of the magazine Sestra
Hejná, Karolína ; Cebe, Jan (advisor) ; Kocourková, Lucie (referee)
The bachelor's thesis "Twenty years of the "Nurse" magazine" deals with the history of Czechoslovak nursing magazines since the early 19th century until the present day. Its attention is focused especially on the "Nurse" magazine, which is (according to Media Project) the most widely read professional health care magazine title at the moment and intended not just for nurses, but also for other non-medical workers in the health care sector. It examines not only the contents and graphic layout of the magazine, but also the personalities of its editors-in-chief and chairwoman of its Editorial Board, and also maps its travels round various publishing houses. There is also a summary of marketing support of the magazine and related projects, as well as a description of its competitors in the Czech magazine market. The thesis presents a qualitative survey, which maps out readers' communities of selected professional periodicals, perception of the quality of contents of various magazines by readers, usability of the information each of them brings in day-to-day health care work, willingness and motivation of health care personnel to publish articles in professional media etc. Its purpose was to determine whether the "Nurse" magazine is indeed a good partner in the lifelong education of non-medical health...

The Hospitallers and religious life in the land of Zittau
Hrachovec, Petr ; Zilynská, Blanka (referee) ; Bobková, Lenka (advisor)
This diploma work deals with two commanderies of the knights of Saint John in the Zittau region located in the Upper Lusatia i.e. in the present Saxony in Zittau itself and in the township of Hirschfelde northeast of Zittau. I have focused on primarily on the 16th century that has not been treated adequately in the professionalliterature. In the first part of this diploma work, which is the shortest one, I have assessed the present historiography and both published and unpublished sources and manuscripts dealing with the aforementioned topic i.e. dealing with the two commanderies in question in the Middle Ages that have survived in good condition and I have delineated their (i.e. the commanderies) development in the 13th through 15th centuries including the procedures intended for the application in dealing with the subject ofthe two commanderies in 16th century. ln the second part of this diploma work I have described the manifestations of devoutness and religiosity in the town of Zittau at the beginning of the 16th century, i.e. in the era prior to the reformation. I have made my best to document whether the town of Zittau where the knights of Saint John possessed the patronage right to the parish church was also struck by the phenomena typical of religious life in the Central Europe at the threshold of...

The World speaks-magazine radio listeners, fans of gramophone records and friends of good movie
Cahová, Daniela ; Köpplová, Barbara (advisor) ; Suk, Pavel (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the development and content of a magazine for radio listeners, fans of gramophone records and fans of good movies. This magazine was called "Přehled rozhlasu" (between the years 1932 and 1934), later (until 1939) it was called "Svět mluví". Vilém Práger was the publisher and editor of this independent magazine which represented the opinions of radio listeners and brought them important information and opinions from inside and also outside of the radio. It was a key alternative for similar magazines which were produced by the Radiojournal company itself (these two magazines were called "Radiojournal" and "Týden rozhlasu"). For better understanding, the development of Práger's magazine is set into the context of social and political events during 1930's in our country, with a brief description of media from this time. Most of the magazine's content was devoted to radio production, to conditions and the aim of radio broadcasting. Information about the constitution, funding and personal structure of the radio station in Czechoslovakia in the 20th and 30th is also included in this bachelor thesis, as well as the description of the editor Vilém Práger and other important people who contributed to his magazine.
