This bachelor's thesis concerns with problematic of people with special disabilities. It contains several areas that are connected with disabled citizens. With regard to domain of this study, the impact insists mainly the education and employment of these people. At the beginning of this study there is a short historical view of attitudes to this group and modern legislative which applies to this group. In the next chapters, the study speaks about education and empoying people with disabilities. Last but not least, we will discuss influence of EU at this sphere and forms of consultancy activities that are essential for people with special needs

Educational policy towards Roma: an application of a theoretical approach social constructions of target populations on a problem of educating Roma pupils in the Czech schools

This diploma thesis deals with educational policy towards Roma pupils in the Czech Republic. This problem is explored on the basis of theoretical approach called social constructions of target populations. Educational policy towards Roma pupils has a provable negative character, because it segregates many Roma pupils from the educational mainstream and thus it prevents them from achieving an adequate level of education. On the opposite side of this "double-track" education system there is a concept of inclusive education, which is considered on the EU level as more effective and beneficial for the whole society. However, there is a polemic in the Czech society, both professional and non-professional, with respect to reforming the education system into more open and inclusive form. Despite of the fact that the concept of inclusive education has been formally accepted as a guideline of the Czech education system, it hasn't brought any real change so far, neither of the system itself, nor of the situation of Roma pupils in it. With an application of theoretical knowledge of the social constructions of target populations approach, this diploma thesis tries to understand a present image of the educational policy towards Roma pupils, in order to answer a question: why it has prevailing negative character...

Copyright protection of computer programs and the issue of licensing agreements

128 10 Resumé 10.1 Resumé - česky Předkládaná rigorózní práce nese název "Autorskoprávní ochrana počítačových programů a problematika licenčních smluv". Tato práce je psána autorem Janem Diblíkem zvláště z hlediska českého práva, nicméně zohledněny jsou zde rovněž příslušné mezinárodní smlouvy a evropské právní předpisy. Po úvodu (kapitola 1) jsou vysvětleny základní termíny spojené s počítačovými programy (kapitola 2) a načrtnuta je i historie počítačů a počítačových programů (kapitola 3). Na mezinárodní smlouvy související s daným tématem je odkázáno v kapitole 4 a v kapitole 5 je analyzována Směrnice rady ES o právní ochraně počítačových programů. Jiné způsoby ochrany počítačových programů, včetně známkoprávní a patentové ochrany, jsou zmíněny v kapitole 6, přičemž kapitola 7 je zaměřena na dané možnosti užití počítačových programů dle autorského zákona. Závěrečná kapitola 8 teoreticky i prakticky rozebírá téma licenčních smluv na různých úrovních - (i) obecně, (ii) dle autorského zákona a (iii) specificky pro počítačové programy. 10.2 Summary - English The title of the presented thesis is "Copyright protection of computer programs and the issue of licensing agreements". Citlivost spirochet Lymské boreliózy ke komplementu různých druhů zvířat chovaných v zoologických zahradách: potenciál rezervoárových hostitelů vybraných exotických obratlovců

Reaction of vertebrate serum complement with different Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato species was used as a basis in determining reservoir hosts among domesticated and wild animals. Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto, Borrelia garinii and Borrelia afzelii were tested for their sensitivity to serum of exotic vertebrate species housed in 5 zoos located in the Czech Republic. We confirmed that different Borrelia species have different sensitivity to host serum. We found that different tolerance to Borrelia infection possessed by hosts might alter among the individuals of the same genera or species and is not affected by host's age or sex. From all zoo animals included in our study, carnivores demonstrated the highest apparent reservoir competency for Lyme borreliosis spirochetes.

French economic policies in the nineties of the 20th century

Francie je odjakživa jednou ze zemí, která ovlivňuje veškeré dění v Evropě, ať už v oblasti kultury, tak také v oblasti ekonomiky. Po celá staletí je považována za kulturní kolébku Evropy. Většina historických událostí se bez její přítomnosti neobešla. Francie je ale také zemí, která stála od počátku u zrodu Evropské unie a bez níž si tuto unii ani neumíme představit. V diplomové práci jsem si dala za cíl,popsat francouzské hospodářství v 90. letech 20. století na pozadí hospodářské politiky té doby. Jen málokdo ví, že se Francie po 2. světové válce ubírala ve své hospodářské politice podobným směrem jako tehdejší socialistické země, a to cestou plánování. Nejednalo se zde však o přísné direktivní plánování jako tomu bylo právě v případě socialistických států, ale o tzv. plánování indikativní - stát a jeho orgány formulací své hospodářské politiky spíše doporučovaly a vytyčovaly směr, jakým by se ekonomika měla ubírat v následujících letech. Jak bude uvedeno ve 3. kapitole, v 90. letech francouzské plánování už jen doznívalo. Země se připravovala na vstup do eurozóny a na jednotný evropský trh a tím v podstatě význam plánu postupně zanikl. Hlavní plánovací instituce však přežila dodnes a plní funkci odborného poradce vládě při formulaci její hospodářské politiky a řešení dalších ekonomických otázek. V první...

Thesis: "Legal regulation of protection against environmental pollution by mobile sources" The thesis is divided into two comprehensive thematic units. The first part deals with legal protection against air pollution and includes a brief outline of the factual issues. The first section of the part is devoted to the substantive definition of the problem and to the description of the basic physics aspects and ecological aspects of the subject-matter. The emphasis is on phenomena closely related to the impact of mobile sources on the environment. The next section deals with legal regulation of the pollution. The section is then divided into parts, one focusing on international legislation, with the emphasis on major international agreements and also on the ground-breaking conferences in the field of air pollution. There is also a short historical outline of the development of international arrangements. The following section concentrates on EU legislation and its historical development. The core of the paper is the section dedicated to Czech legislation, which is further divided into several parts. Rovná daň v pobatských státech v kontextu daňové politiky Evropské unie

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je posouzení, zda o důchodových daních v Litvě, Lotyšsku a Estonsku lze říci, že se jedná o rovné daně, a zda daňová konkurence je pro zakládající členské státy skutečně hrozbou. Při porovnání důchodových daní pobaltských států s rovnou daní jsem dospěla k závěru, že se v mnoha bodech od sebe liší a že se ve své podstatě o rovnou daň nejedná. V otázce vlivu daňové konkurence se ukázalo, že korporátní daňová konkurence způsobuje pokles daňových sazeb, ale nikoliv pokles výnosu daně z příjmů korporací a ani přesun daňového břemene na daně s nemobilním předmětem nebo na daně ze spotřeby.

Legal regulation of the equality of men and women in Czech and German employment law

Právní úprava rovnosti mužů a žen v České republice a Německé spolkové republice je v podstatě rozdílná, ale ani jedna není v souladu s právem Evropského společenství. Česká republika je posledním členským státem Evropské unie, který nezajistil uplatnění zásady rovného zacházení v rozsahu požadovaném směrnicemi Evropského společenství. Naproti tomu v Německé spolkové republice platí relativně nový zákon, který v některých ustanovení upravuje více než požaduje antidiskriminační směrnice ES. Cílem Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz je všeobecně zabránit diskriminaci především v pracovněprávních vztazích.

Domestic violence and its prevention

CONCLUSION The family violence is a problem which figure in the centre of the attention in our society. The family violence isn't in its substance only social or political problem, it's a suffering which individual people spend, people who don't deserved to live in a shame, in a pain or in a humbleness. Each woman or man who spent the domestic violence, are the individuals with the individual needs and not only the faces without names from the statistics. The good news is that the solutions are accessible and each individual with help and with a dose of courage will find his or her own way how to deprive of the violence. All depends on the victim who must realize that if she or he doesn't leave from the offender, nothing will be changed and his or her life won't be saved. Very important and necessary step is disproving the myths and the prejudices about domestic violence in the society. The public must realize that this action needs the regular check and the intervention from the state or the public authorities although domestic violence takes place in a privacy, at home.
