the burnout syndrome

The aim of this thesis is to map the occurrence and magnitude of the burnout syndrome of social workers of Labour Office in Český Krumlov, department of noninsurance social benefits. It shows the most serious stressors and evaluates if the workers are aware of relaxation techniques preventing the burnout syndrome or if the employer is offering any compensations, considering the psychical demands of the occupation. This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical, which is formed by a quantitative research of the issue. The theoretical part is based on available literature and partially on my own knowledge gained in a burnout syndrome course in an education centre, where I have obtained the certificate of completion. Another source is my seven-year long experience in the field. The methodological part contains reasons for choosing the quantitative research strategy. It also includes a description of the realization of the research inquiry. The practical part of the thesis presents the results of findings from five interviews with social workers paying out social benefits. These findings are answering the given hypotheses concerned by perception of delimitation on 1st January 2012 by social workers.

Evaluation of usage nutritional supplements in the pregnancy.

The assessment of dietary supplements income during pregnancy Nutritional needs are increased during pregnancy. Changes of hormonal levels induce alterations of physical and psychical status. Blood volume is increased and maternal metabolism is adjusted to ensure nutrition necessary for the right development of fetus. Requirements for energy, vitamins and minerals intake are increased. Requirements for micronutrients are rather specific, often the intake from food is not sufficient and supply by means of dietary supplements is necessary. Convenient structure of nutrition promotes physiological growth and development of fetus, reduces the risk of congenital malformations, prematurity labour, low birth weight and also protects mother's health. Objectives: To determine the intake of vitamin-mineral supplements by pregnant women, type of supplement (single-micronutrient or multivitamin-mineral supplementation), micronutrients most ingested, intake of supplements before- and during pregnancy and mother's supplementation in relation to the newborn anthropometrics measurements. Methods: Mothers completed a particular questionnaire about their supplementation. Politics of employment in Czech Republic and in France

The bachelor's thesis occupies by employment policy, which forms one of the pillars of all-society considérations but also employment and unemployment on micro economical level. The author of this thesis is fully realizing the comprehensiveness of chosen theme and therefore regarding to the educational sight of the bachelor's programme, she has focused on selected aspects of the employment policy, with which among others nearly cohere the use of inhabitants and groups of citizens in labour market. The purpose of the thesis is to consider active and passive instruments of the employment policy in the Czech Republic and France. At the end of the work the author points out the coordination of the employment policy among membership countries in the EU and comparison of some partial différences and resemblances of the employment policy.

Projection of police discourse into releases of regional media exemplified on Beroun region

The diploma thesis ("Projection of Police Discourse into Releases of Regional Media Exemplified on Beroun Region") deals with the local journalists' approach to their source texts of police discourse when elaborating press releases. Within the introduction the thesis submits the explication of the latest stance to term "discourse", including adumbration of the possible problematic passages. Furthermore the thesis brings up detailed characteristics of both police and media jargon and successively allege their partial analyses such as the comparison of the releases' preambles, usage of quotations, sub-titles, passive forms, or the comparison of analyzed communication areas regarded from the authors' labour with sources' point of view. The main issue is observed by means of four detailed analyses of projection, substitution or eventually creation of police discourse in the media releases. Besides mentioned the thesis also tries to prove the correlation between the media size and the rate of police discourse projection in it's output. Conceived in limited field, a piece of thesis is likewise discursive and critically discursive analysis of police discourse.

Study on the concept of "motion" (kinésis) in Maximus the Confessor (580-662) The study explores a motif of "motion" (κίνησις) in the works of a Byzantinian theologian and philosopher Maximus the Confessor (580-662 A.D.). The treatise Ambiguum ad Iohannem 7 has been chosen as a textual base for this study. The treatise contains the most compact and systematic passage on the "motion" in Maximus' works. I have been preoccupied with the most important (crucial) themes of the above mentioned text, which were partially emphasized in contemporary research on Maximus. Nevertheless, no detailed and complex study has been writen so far. The aim of this study is to examine the motif of "motion/movement" (κίνησις) in its philosophical preconditions and implications. Ethics in Business (Corporate Ethics GE Money)

Prepared by: Hana Kuchaříková Title of thesis: Business Ethics The subtitle of the thesis: Corporate ethics of GE Money, Inc. Objective: To characterize GE Money Bank, as to become familiar with its code of ethics. Then describe the behavior of employees of this company and find out how to comply with the rules of ethical behavior in practice. And compared with the ethical behavior of employees outside the banking sector. For comparison, IBM has been selected. Results: In this thesis it was found that neither company has a well developed code of ethics is unable to fulfill its essence in practice. Although employees are thoroughly trained, many do not comply with rules established by this Code. It was found many cases where there are violations and then suggested measures that could lead to at least partial removal. In comparison with IBM, it was found that the state of corporate ethics at both companies is very similar

Multicultural nursing and spirituality of religion in nursing practice

v AJ: The Bachelor's dissertation treats of individual specifications of cultural and religious groups. To description of customs of each immigraton's groups living in The Czech republic is dedicating theoretical part of this labour. I have described cultural and spiritual customs with focus on areas that could be crucial in nursing care. The habits of Vietnamese, Russians, Ukrainians but also Christians, Jews and Muslims are described. The first part of research section of Bachelor's dissertation is attending views of non-doctors staff in Pardubická krajská nemocnice, a.s. to foreigners and try to map this questions. Is finding willingness to fulfil particular requirements of foreigners and pursuit for additional education. The second part of research section of Bachelor's dissertation presents interview with Mongolian woman. It looks on access of non--doctors staff by foreigner's eyes. This research metod has been focused on detecting deficiencies of non-doctors staff and effort to identify trouble situations as well. The conclusion is dedicated to all-round summary and possible steps which resulting from quoted facts. Comparison of business conditions of Czech republic and Singapore

Question of barriers to business is in the Czech Republic criticised for a long time, but until now have been taken only partial actions and complex change is still missing. For a comparison of business conditions I chose Singapore, because it has very favourable business conditions in recent years, while the Czech Republic markedly fall behind on a worldwide scale. Methodological part of the thesis contains an analysis of conceptions that serve as a base for the comparation of business conditions. The conceptions are concerned with starting a business, getting credit, trading across borders, self-dealing, theory of procedural formalism, tax theory, labour relation, getting and transferring real estate. Consecutive analytical part of the thesis compares business conditions in the Czech Republic and in Singapore according to criteria accepted by The World Bank. The criteria are focused on administrative, financial and time cost of starting business, registering and transferring real estate, proceedings at law, international trade. Further criteria are determinants of labour relation, law protecting of investors against self-dealing, informative barriers to getting credit, determinants of paying taxes. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyse differences in business conditions between the Czech Rupublic and Singapore and propose arrangement for improvement law and economics conditions for business in the Czech Republic.
