Numerical simulations of MHD waves in the solar corona with gravitational field
ŠEBÍK, Matěj
The aim of this bachelor?s thesis is to numerically simulate propagation of impulsively generated waves and oscillations in a plasma of the solar corona using a numerical code FLASH. This program is used to create a model of propagation of the MHD waves in a so-called current-sheet layer. The model should correspond with an observations obtained by modern solar probes. There are clues implying that a gravitationally stratified solar atmosphere affects the progression of the MHD waves in a time evolution. Therefore the gravitation effect is inducted in the calcullation. The last part of the text discusses the given differences with and without gravitation.

Fatigue-creep interaction in Ni superalloys and TiAl alloys
Šmíd, Miroslav ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Kunz, Ludvík (referee) ; Obrtlík, Karel (advisor)
The present doctoral thesis is focused on the effect of dwells on the low cycle fatigue behaviour of advanced high temperature materials. 10 minutes strain holds are introduced into the cyclic straining of cast Ni-based superalloy IN792-5A and cast intermetallic alloy TiAl-7Nb which were chosen as experimental material. Fatigue experiments were conducted in strain control mode with constant total strain amplitude and strain rate. IN792-5A was subjected to continuous cyclic loading test as well as fatigue tests either with tensile peak strain holds or compressive peak strain holds at temperature 800 °C. TiAl-7Nb was experimentally examined by continuous cyclic loading tests and also by fatigue test with tensile peak strain hold times at temperature 750 °C. Cyclic hardening/softening curves, cyclic stress-strain curves, Manson-Coffin curves and Basquin curves were obtained. Stress relaxation data were measured during hold times. Mean stress evolution was observed and documented. Microstructure of both alloys was observed in as-received state and also after cyclic loading by means of SEM and TEM. Surface relief investigation revealed cyclic plastic strain localisation as well as fatigue crack initiation sites. Fatigue crack propagation was described using fracture surface and longitudinal gauge section observations. Dislocation structures developed in the course of fatigue tests were studied and documented.

Voříšek´s Vamberk - an effort to rediscover the composer´s significance in his native town
Bořková, Dagmar ; Hudec, Jiří (advisor) ; Žalud, Radomír (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (referee)
This work deals with the personality of the composer Jan Václav Hugo Voříšek in conjuction with the care of his musical legacy, in particular in Vamberk - his birthplace in Eastern Bohemia. From 1991 to 2008 a small-scale music festival was held there, entlited "Voříšek´s Vamberk", each year it acted as a reminder of the composer´s significance and dedicated several concerts to his memory. In relation to Voříšek as a professional organist, an organ competition unique in the Czech republic came into existence there, utilizing the historical mechanical instrument played in the past by Voříšek in the church of St. Procopius. The paper captures the birth of both music events, their evolution and the circumstances of their cessation. Each musical programme is presented in a separate chapter. In the view of the fact that the course of the individual year´s volumes is not filed in the municipal archive and the only publicly available records can be found in Jiří Lakmajer´s chronicles stored in the archive of the town of Rychnov nad Kněžnou, the aim of this work is to process, organize and assort the materials from the estate of Lubor Bořek, the founder of both significant events.

Modelling of glow discharge positive column of oxygen in the middle pressures region
Laca, Marek ; Hrachová, Věra (advisor) ; Plašil, Radek (referee)
The aim of the presented work was to create model of the glos discharge positive column of the oxygen in the middle pressures (in range 100-1000 Pa) with the methods of the computer physics, specifically with the method of the chemical kinetics. I have focused on the existence of two forms of the discharge positive column in the oxygen, low and high gradient form with axial electrical field about 100 V/m and 1 kV/m. I developed continuous model of the low temperature plasma as the steady state solution of the continuity equation with the neglected divergent member. The model involves twelve different kinds of the particles and reactions among them: electrons, ground and excited states of the atomic and molecular oxygen, of course negative and positive ions. I had numerically solved time evolution of the particle concentration at constant pressure, until the system reached equilibrium state. My numerical results were compared with experimental measurements of the electron density, which had been done in the Department of Surface and Plasma Science. To get a consistency between my results and experimental ones for electron density, I had to variate reaction coefficients of the reactions in which charged particles are produced.

Utilization of local carriers of antibiotics for treatment of infection of locomotive apparatus
Melicherčík, Pavel ; Jahoda, David (advisor) ; Koudela, Karel (referee) ; Džupa, Valér (referee)
Infections of locomotive apparatus presents serious problem in orthopeadic and traumatology for a typical course with recidivisms and often evolution to bacterial resistance. Eradication of bacterial causers of infections of locomotive apparatus not have to be always reliable. One of possibility how to increase therapeutic potential is utilization a local aplication of antibiotics. Aim of dessertation thesis is verify influence of released glycopeptide antibiotic vancomycin from bone grafts in experiment in vitro after previous comparasion of properties in 34 chosen carriers from point of view both material constitution and elution characterization for different antibiotics on the strength of sources from accessible literature. The most widespread used local carrier of antibiotics is bone cement intended firstly to solve infections of alloplasties by two-stroke reimplantation. There is necessary subsequent its extraction compared to newer, biodegradable carriers. The best properties from a view of criteria suitable local carrier of antibiotics in orthopeadic and traumatology have carriers composed from several sort of materials, so-called composites. On the strength of results performed experiment we verified that bone grafts could be a good local carrier of vancomycin. Highest average...

Michaela Pavlatova
Delgado, Laura Victoria ; Kubíček, Jiří (advisor) ; Dutka, Edgar (referee)
The purpose of this text is to reassess the animation like an aesthetics human practice even out of the cinematographic field. An important resource are the Semir Zeki`s investigations about neuroaesthetics. Im going to review the origin and historic course of animation from the prehistory, bearing in mind the human evolutive process of perception (body-brain) and the human development from childhood that makes possible the existence of the animation. For that, as example, Im going to put into context the animated Films of the czech filmmaker Michaela Pavlátová. Her live related to animation and the characteristics of her Films will appear as motive(motivation) to expand ideas like how the environment can influence the way to represent the space, or the relations between politic and czech animation, or how works the perception of color in the brain, or the importance of the faces in social relationships, and how that motives appears and becomes art across author hands.

Evolution of the karyotype in two spider families, Atypidae and Pholcidae
Pastuchová, Markéta ; Kočárek, Eduard (referee) ; Král, Jiří (advisor)
Evolution of the karyotype in two spider families, Atypidae and Pholcidae (Araneae) Summary From cytogenetic point of view spiders are very diversified group, they exhibit great diversity in diploid chromosome number from 7 Ariadna lateralis (Segestriidae) up to 128 Cyclocosmia siamensis (Ctenizidae). Till recently karyotypes of almost all spiders were supposed to consist exclusively of acrocentric chromosomes including X1X20 sex chromosome system. However, this idea is based mostly on research of an advanced clade - entelegyne lineage of araneomorph spiders. Karyotypes of mygalomorph and haplogyne spiders remain nearly unexplored. Presented study is focused on cytogenetics of eight representatives of the family Pholcidae (Araneomorphae, Haplogyne) and Atypus piceus and A. affinis (Mygalomorphae, fam.Atypidae). Karyotypes, course of meiosis and distribution of nucleolar organizer regions (NOR) have been investigated in selected pholcid species and in one representative of the family Sicariidae (Araneomorphae, Haplogyne). Chromosomes of these groups are mostly biarmed (metacentric or submetacentric) and sex chromosome systems are diversified. Furthermore, distribution of constitutive heterochromatin and NOR has been analysed in A. piceus (2n0' = 41,XO) and A. affinis (2n0' = 14,XY). Key words: Atypidae,...

Most important part of the thesis contains an analysis of the causes, course of action and impacts of the financial crisis, it evaluates current crisis in the terms of functionality of the financial crisis regulation system as well as suggestions and discussions how tho improve regulation in the USA and the European Union.

Relict Land Border between Bohemia and Moravia in Historic-geographical Context
Chalupa, Jan ; Chromý, Pavel (advisor) ; Kučerová, Silvie Rita (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the importance of relict land border between Bohemia and Moravia in the past and present. The territory of today's Czechia was divided into lands in various modifications for 1000 years. In 1949, the establishment of lands was cancelled and the functional boundary became relic. Previous evolution of the significance of the Czech- Moravian border is solved by background research, while one of its current manifestations, declaring Moravian nationality is found out by analyzing data from Census 1991 a 2001 in the area of interest consisting of the districts adjacent to the border. In addition, its course from the last year of its validity is compared with the boundaries of administrative units of the three regional divisions of today's Czechia, which followed its abolition. Keywords: relict border, Czech-Moravian border, moravian nationality
