New methods of separation and processing of food waste in disposable packaging
Pokorný, Tomáš ; Innemanová, Petra (advisor) ; Šereš, Michal (referee)
Waste in general and plastic in particular is a big problem nowadays. The Czech Republic ranks among the winners in the sorting of plastic waste, but not all sorted waste is further used. According to the Plastics Europe portal (2022), the most used method of handling plastic waste in Europe is energy recovery, followed by recycling. It is precisely the increased share of recycling that would better correspond to the principles of the circular economy, which is why in my work I dealt with a new method of separation and processing of food waste in disposable packaging and the subsequent assessment of the usability of the separated plastics. Currently, the used method is waste crushing, separation of the biological component and its energy use in a biogas station. In the theoretical part of my bachelor's thesis, I focused on the general characteristics of vermicomposting, packaging, recycling, plastic waste, and last but not least, I describe the methods of handling bio-waste in supermarkets. Part of the work was an experiment that verified the potential of a newly designed method of separating biowaste and plastic disposable packaging using earthworms on a pilot scale. The experiment was based on the assumption that the earthworms used would be able to transform food waste in disposable packaging...
The crime of theft according to section 205 of Czech criminal code
Pokorný, Tomáš ; Bohuslav, Lukáš (advisor) ; Říha, Jiří (referee)
The crime of theft according to section 205 of Czech criminal code Topic of this diploma thesis is the legislation of the crime of theft according to section 205 of the Czech Criminal Code. The aim of this diploma thesis is to conduct an analysis of the currently effective Czech legislation of the crime of theft in the Czech Criminal Code and at the same time subject legislation in fitting cases to critical evaluation or else propose it's modification. Simultaneously the aim of this thesis is to conduct analysis of the judicial practice in time of the state of emergency during COVID-19 pandemic using selected relevant judgements and alternatively subject it to criticism. Final aim of this thesis is to compare the Czech legislation of the crime of theft in the Czech Criminal Code to legislation of the crime of theft in the German Criminal Code with the aim to identify their main differences. Diploma thesis is divided into four separate chapters where individual chapters are further divided into subchapters except the first chapter. The first chapter forms introduction into social problems of the theft phenomenon. This chapter briefly defines importance and status of the crime of theft in a society considering its historical genesis. Second chapter forms the main part of the thesis consisting of the...
Granulometry by the acoustic emission method
Pokorný, Tomáš ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Fialka, Jiří (advisor)
This paper compares influence of different waveguides and acoustic emission sensors on particle sizing analysis using acoustic emission. Several experiments are proposed, executed and evaluated to find the impact of waveguide length and diameter in combination with resonance or broadband sensor.
The Czech National Bank and Inflation Targeting as an Instrument of Maintaining Price Stability
Pokorný, Tomáš ; Kohajda, Michael (advisor) ; Sejkora, Tomáš (referee)
Title: The Czech National Bank and Inflation Targeting as an Instrument of Maintaining Price Stability Author: Ing. Tomáš Pokorný Supervisor: doc. JUDr. Michael Kohajda Ph.D. When performing monetary policy, the central bank can follow inflation targeting or other monetary policy rules. Following a rule, the central bank can efficiently stabilize economic development in the long run, because the changes in the mon- etary policy given by the policy rule are included in the rational expectations of agents. It might seem that the consistency of monetary policy is secured by following the policy rule only. The potential discretion, however, remains in the different preferences of the bank board members, which may completely change monetary policy decisions within the given monetary policy rule. Current leg- islation does not prevent this discretion by any means as the decision of bank board members' appointment is awarded to the Czech president exclusively, who can completely disrupt the monetary policy consistency with the previous bank board. The changes in the bank board preferences are analyzed using the GMM method on two subsamples in the period of 1996 Q3 - 2021 Q2. The empirical analysis shows that the Czech National Bank followed its constitutional duty and reacted with its policy rates to the...
The analysis of Tokyo railway accessibility in Japan by using GIS
Pokorný, Tomáš ; Hudeček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Hofman, Petr (referee)
This work is about accessibility of Tokyo-eki (東京駅 Tokyo Station) by using main railways of Japan Railways Group (JR グループ Jeiaru Gurupu). The introduction is giving main ideas about the subject such as research of accessibility. Continuing with categories of train connections and historical facts in Japan and Czech Republic. Special part is talking about transcriptions from Japanese to Latin. Main part of work is description of time accessibility model. Data were searched on specific multilingual sources. Next part is comparing Czech and Japanese accessibility by using anamorphosis model. In the conclusion is commented confrontation of regional accessibility in Japan and Czech Republic according to the maps. Keywords: time accessibility, railways, network analysis, Japan, Tokyo
Attic flats as an object of civil law relations
Pokorný, Tomáš ; Elischer, David (advisor) ; Thöndel, Alexandr (referee)
Aim of the thesis is a comprehensive view on the issue of construction of the attics flats, especially in view of civil law relations. This work contains a general explanation of the development of housing law in the Czech legal environment, the development of a contractual type of the agreement on the construction and finally also the analysis of essential requirements of agreements for the construction according to the applicable Civil Code. The thesis includes passages concerning the registration of ownership rights to the land registry, the issue of building permit procedure and tax aspects related to the construction of the attics apartments. Generalization of LOD2 building models using the aggregation method
Měchurová, Kristýna ; Brůha, Lukáš (advisor) ; Pokorný, Tomáš (referee)
Generalization of LOD2 building models using the aggregation method Abstract The thesis proposes and implements a method of 3D building models aggregation. The procedure achieves global optima by the means of mathematic optimization. Buildings are aggregated according to similarity characteristics typical for LOD2, e. g. roof type. Aggregation process is driven by minimalization of volume changes and of the aggregate count. The optimization problem was implemented as a Python script with optional parameters to meet custom demands of a wide range of users. Input data models of buildings are created by the method of procedural modelling. Its outcome is further restructured into form of continuous blocks. Finally, the visualization procedure is designed and implemented to illustrate the results of optimized aggregation of 3D building models. Automation of spatial objects modeling in 3D using API of selected modeling software
Mazur, Dominik ; Brůha, Lukáš (advisor) ; Pokorný, Tomáš (referee)
Considering the drudgery related to manual creation of virtual worlds, the opportunity of producing them automatically is too alluring to be dismissed. This bachelor thesis introduces a solution that automates the generation of building's 3D model. The methodological foundation is based on declarative modeling approach and inspired by procedural modeling techniques. Presented work defines the set of rules and parameters. By these means, a faster and more intuitive way to design buildings' models, while preserving the flexibility and control of the user over the construction process, is proposed. The solution is implemented as an add-on for Blender entitled "Buildings generator". The Python scripting, which the add-on is based on, uses the API of open-source software Blender and is available under GNU GPL licence. Keywords: Procedural modeling, Blender, 3D buildings, modeling automation, CityEngine
