Otokar Březina and Charles Baudelaire: The metaphor of the light and the soul

This Diploma Thesis deals with the topic of the light and the soul in Charles Baudelaire and Otokar Březina in general. Then it concentrates on the particular motifs of the light and the soul and their metaphors. The main point of the Thesis is the poetic texts of both of the writers. The method used in this part is the literary and aesthetic analysis of the texts. Respect to the fact that it is focused on the comparative research, the following method used is the method of comparison which includes the charts with the frequency of the keywords in both of the authors and the enumerations which illustrate the issue of the present chapter. The aim of the Diploma Thesis is not only the comparison in the form and the interpretation but especially the determination of the similarities and the differences of the two poetic types within the framework of the present theme and the literary and historical context. Implementation of European legislation into the legal order of the Czech Republic

AAAAbstractbstractbstractbstract The main purpose of my thesis is to analyse how Czech legal order deals with the obligation to implement European legislation, and also, how it is affected by the process of implementation. The thesis consists of two major parts. Part One describes the European law system from the point of view of its effects on a national law; the direct effect as well as the obligation to implement the EU law into national legal acts are considered. Part Two is divided into six chapters; each chapter deals with a different aspect of Czech obligation to implement and apply the EU law. Czech government is the main legislative initiator and has developed detailed rules for preparing government bills. However, the praxis is far from ideal. Both chambers of Czech Parliament are affected by serious lack of interest in the process of implementation. The Constitutional court provides a constantly growing judicature of open-minded interpretation of the national law with respect to the EU law. On the other hand, it shows a surprising reluctance to refer for a preliminary ruling at the Court of Justice of the European Union. Technical Analysis in Foreign Exchange

The bachelor thesis deals with trading in the forex market. The theoretical part describes the Forex market, its history, when it traded, what is traded, which entities are involved in the market and selected basic concepts, that you must know in this market. There are also basic procedures and rules as the speculative individual should behave on the market in different situations and how to distribute the funds, to avoid a large percentage losses of the capital, as the foundation of financial literacy should think about knowledge. At the conclusion of the practical part, there is the technical analysis, that justifies and predicts the future development of exchange rates. Technical analysis is followed by a practical part, which describes the transactions, that were carried out under real conditions on the currency pair EUR / USD. These transactions were carried out using two technical indicators, Moving averages and Bollinger bands. At the conclusion of the work, there is the evaluation of these two indicators, which one was more profitable for us.

Puppies and young dogs nutritions Summary In this work I have attempted to summarize the most important aspects in nutrition of puppies and dogs in growth. The introduction describes the digestive tract and also the changes that have occurred due to domestication. Next is explained the importance of nutrition and water in nutritional requirements of a dog. Important are needs of nutrients and energy that are necessary to maintain the provision of the necessary vital functions. The basic components of food are proteins, saccharides, lipids, minerals and vitamins. I explain the necessary proportions, the amounts and the possible consequences of their lack in food. I focus on essential fatty acids, which in recent years are subject to frequent explorations and their pros and cons are not yet fully understood. I also mention ballast and significant specific active substances. Nutrition of pregnant and lactating females is often neglected, but for puppies it is a very crucial period. The influence of nutrition of pregnant females to the size and weight of newborn puppies has been proved. Further I deal with nutrition of puppies immediately after birth, I explain the composition of colostrum and its effect on the immunity system of the puppy. I also compare ratios of nutrients in the colostrum and milk. Further, I deal with the feeding of the individual at the time of weaning and in different growth periods. There are many possibilities of feeding puppies from after weaning until adulthood described in books. With the new knowledge about nutrition the ways of feeding our dogs have inevitably changed , but also the dogs' nutritional requirements have changed due to the conditions where and how they live and what their nutrient needs are according to their sport, breeding or other use. Currently, there is a possibility of a commercially produced complete nutritional diet or home-prepared fresh food - cooked or raw- barf. In the last chapter, I summarized possible aspects of malnutrition and its potential consequences. I described the most common problems associated with inadequate nutrition of growing dogs such as obesity as well as malnutrition, which also adversely affects the individual. The influence of proper nutrition of the puppy on its growth is clear. If we neglect the nutrition of the dog in the first two years of its life, the consequences are often irreversible.

Political and social aspects of local government - public participation in the municipality affairs

The thesis deals with contemporary theories of the citizens involvement in municipal life and civic society. It works with Nekol s concept which is a typology of forms of participation. The aim of the thesis is to test the usefulness of this concept on two selected municipalities in the Czech Republic Týnec nad Labem and Krakovany.
The thesis focuses mainly of the description of participation forms and it examines the factors which influence the differences in people s participation. It shows that Nekol s concept is a useful tool in the effort to understand these differences in the two selected municipalities. The decisive distinguishing aspect is the stability of political environment. In Krakovany, the political environment is settled and is connected with the mayor, who is an important initiator of development in the town.

Art and architecture of the Ethnographic exhibition 1895

Title of the thesis: Art and architecture of the Ethnographic exhibition 1895 The topic of the presented diploma thesis is the reconstruction of artist and item list presented on the Ethnographic exhibition of 1895, which was held in the premises of Holešovice Fairground in Prague from May 15 to September 28, 1895. Despite being one of the most important exhibition events held in Bohemia in the 19th Century (Jubilee Exhibition of 1891 - Ethnographic Exhibition of 1895 - Architecture and Engineering Exhibition 1898), it has not yet been systematically covered - not even from the history of art perspective. Based on the original material (leaflets, catalogues, guide-books) the thesis attempts to re- introduce the original public image of the exhibition and the character of the exposed items. The chapters of the thesis deal with the exhibition banner, the architecture (The Old Prague and Sample Village exhibitions), paintings, sculptures, commercial art (exhibition souvenirs). The thesis also attempts to trace the items and sketch their fate after the exhibition was over.

This master's thesis deals with difficulties of web application development utilizing web services. The theoretical part describes the essence of service oriented architecture and explains the options of integration using web services. The practical part deals with analysis, design and subsequent implementation of web application. Specifically, the implementation of application for task manager, which is divided into two parts. The server side of application exposes REST services and client side that consumes.

The aim of the thesis is to describe the principles of creativity of Jindřiška Křivánková, senior professional and a highly experienced theatre performer; and confront her way of thinking and creativity with my own artistic view and my skills gained during my time of study at HAMU. Thereafter, the thesis will first elaborate on her theatre development, from the beginning of her carrier until now. Further it will addresses the major aspects and circumstances that led to her prospering in the field. It also examines the influence of particular personalities that helped her to develop her distinct views on theatre. A further discussion on the various aspects of artistic creation and creative process in a mutual confrontation of the two of us, in which we touch not only broad general issues concerning the culture and theatre, but also the special approaches towards it.

Labour Immigration of Turks to Germany and the Developement of German Immigration and Integration Policy

My Bachelor's thesis, "Labour Immigration of Turks to Germany and the Development of German Immigration and Integration Policy" deals with Turkish guest workers' arrival and subsequent settlement in Germany and the conditions they have been living in. The first part of my thesis is devoted to the evolution of Turkish labour immigration and a discussion of its influence on and co-evolution with German immigration and integration policy. The second part is addressed to the acceptance shown by the majority of Germany society of contemporary Turkish immigrants' integration and uses as examples the development of two important public or human rights. The first of these rights is freedom of religion, which contains both freedom of religion at school, and the right to build mosques in German cities. The second is the right to political participation for Turkish residents who are either German citizens or who have permanent residency, but not citizenship. The thesis tries to answer the questions of how successful integration has been and whether or not Germany has found the right balance between democratic values and the cultural diversity brought by having a large Muslim minority. Risk analysis of load bearing RC structure review

Master thesis deals with the evaluation of risks in the course of strengthening reinforced concrete column. It describes the assessment of existing structures according to ISO 13822, discusses the dangers that can occur when determining the carrying capacity of the existing structure. It also describes the different phases of strengthening steel banding, their functions and influence on the overall capacity. Also showing calculation process of strengthening reinforced concrete column, using steel banding, based on standard EN 1992-1-1 and EN 1998-3. In a concrete example of reinforcement is shown a process for determining the carrying capacity and then designed to the increase. In the two examples performs risk analysis using the universal matrix of risk analysis that identifies and quantifies the importance of various hazards associated with the calculation and implementation of the project.
