Properties of selected varieties of tall fescue and their utilization for Lawns
Zachař, Jakub ; Svobodová, Miluše (advisor) ; Klára, Klára (referee)
Grass and its cultivation is being explored in breeding and maintenance for many years. The theme of this thesis is the evaluation of fifteen varieties Tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea Schreb.), which is a hardy robust species with short underground projections, curled leaf composition, wide, very rigid, reverse side rough and shiny on the cheek and fluted leaves. It tillers extravaginal and creates a dense turf. Its great advantage is the strong root system and certain symbiosis (mutualism) with a fungus of the genus Endophyte Neotyphodium, making it resistant to a variety of stresses. The aim is to detect differences intervarietal Tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea Schreb.), Which the Czech Republic is not yet used in the monitored indicators (coverage, color, texture, height stand in a certain time interval, the overall impression). In the future, we can expect increased demand for socalled. low input lawn, because of their tolerance to drought, high and low temperatures and diseases, and especially due to the low need for inputs. The next chapter describes the properties of each of the individual varieties of tall fescue ( Festuca arundinacea Schreb . ) , which are: Barcesar , Barfelix , Barlexas , Barleroy , Cochise , Debussy , Fine Lawn, Galatea , Kontiki , Olympic Gold , Rembrandt , Regiment , Starlett , Palladium and Zuzana. An attempt was founded in late August of 2012 a demonstration and experimental plot in the immediate vicinity of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague Suchdol, using 15 varieties of tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea Schreb.). Each variety was planted on a plot measuring 1 x 1 meter (one square meter), while calibrating 35 g per m2 in triplicate. Only varieties Barfelix (BF) were sown only in duplicate. Values are obtained climatic conditions at a given for 2014, 2015 and the long term average. The average temperature for the year 2014 was 10.7 ° C and 2015 it was 10.8 ° C which shows that compared to the long term average for those two years the average temperature of almost 2 ° C higher. Annual precipitation for the year 2014 amounted to 571.4 millimeters, which is more than 45 mm more than the long term average, but the annual rainfall for 2015 was only 370.6 millimeters, which is more than 200 mm less than the long term average . 2015 is generally ranked the driest years ever. Measurements were taken every 14 days and a total of 8 measurements were performed, the first measurements were made on 21 May 2015. Since that date, followed by a total of 5 measurements, namely to July 21, 2015. After that date, followed by a nearly two month break because of the long lasting droughts. For individual varieties of tall fescue were performed in triplicate measurements of height increase in the crop, according to the method EN 735 933 determination of sward height of natural turf. Furthermore, coverage was measured (resistance to weed) according to method EN 735 930 Method C using the points of the frame. Spot frame was in this case replaced by a string measuring 100 cm long split 5 cm, whereby on each parcelce 1x1m were two repetitions. Results were evaluated using the statistical program ANOVA (LSD, "alfa" = 0.05). Varieties of Paladium (88.3%), Kontiki (87.5) and Zuzana (87.5%) had the highest coverage demonstrably compared to all other varieties. On the contrary, the worst results in a variety of coverage reached Debussy (82.5%), Barfelix (83.3%) and Regiment (83.3%). Conclusive were the differences between other varieties. Olympic Gold varieties (85.8%), Barleroy (85.8%), Cochise (86.7%) and Barcesar (86.7%) were Although demonstrably inferior varieties of palladium, Kontiki and Susan, but also have a palpably better than varieties Barlexas (84.2%), Fine Lawn (84.2%), Starlett (85%), Rembrandt (85%) and Galatea (85%), but which were thus demonstrably better than varieties Debussy Barfelix and Regiment. Variety Fine Lawn conclusively reached its greatest values in growth rate and height above ground organs. When the average height was 6.4 cm in the dry season, however, showed no increase and vice versa suffered from drought, while significantly lowest results in this regard amounted to a variety of Paladium, which reached an average height of only 4.4 cm, which when mowing to 4 cm represents an average increase of just 0.4 cm. The varieties are fully resistant to stress, in the form of drought and high temperatures (Barfelix, Barlexas, Barleroy, Debussy, Galatea, Rembrandt and Starlett), less tolerant (Cochise, Zuzana) and some show no tolerance and conversely, suffer from drought (Barcesar, Fine Lawn , Kondiky, Olympic Gold, Paladium and Regiment). For all varieties was seen very good recovery after a stressful period. It has been proven that the different varieties of tall fescue from each other in some respects differ , and a wide choice is thus able to fill in a diverse range of applications tall fescue all various environmental conditions or conditions of intensity of cultivation , while its use is possible in increasingly mentioned system low input grassland.

Search for the knowledge within big companies could become pain not only for knowledge seekers, but as well for knowledge managers in case they want a solution, that reflects well actual state of knowledge of a company, allows discovering emerging areas of knowledge and at the same time its maintenance does not require huge amounts of effort. This doctoral thesis starts by a comprehensive analysis of needs of expertise location of current company, description of theoretical backgrounds, related approaches and fundamental directions in expertise location, analyses their advantages and disadvantages and on the ground of this analysis presents a new expertise location technique that tries to avoid disadvantages of current expertise location systems by keeping their advantages. The technique is designed to respect the needs of effective knowledge management within a company, which main assets are their employees, their knowledge reflected in unstructured documents they produce as a part of their daily work. Described knowledge mapping technique analyses document publication history of company members and proposes various measures to asses and characterize their knowledge. The implementation of the knowledge mapping technique allows its direct usage (as an expert search engine) as well as its own evaluation (validity of search engine results). The efficiency of proposed measures on various types of document sources (project directories/versioning repositories/etc.) and within various dimension configurations (current/overall knowledge search) is evaluated by the practical evaluation method introduced within the thesis. The evaluation took place in the environment of a middle-sized software company allowing seeing directly a practical usability of the expertise location technique. The results of the evaluation are presented not only in statistical form, but in a form of suggestions of how to implement the model on various document sources within the company. The results suggest that described knowledge mapping technique is a viable approach in expertise location.

The Kyrgyz republic belongs to the category of countries which, after the collapse of the USSR in 1991, got through a difficult transition from a centrally planned economy to a market economy. To this day, continue problems caused by the unpreparedness for secession from the Soviet bloc, still ranks Kyrgyzstan among the world's poorest countries. However, due to the rapid implementation of liberal reforms, it has bulit a position of the most democratic state in the region. Based on these facts, Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of its establishment operates a number of international organizations in the framework of effective cooperation making efforts to improve the current situation in the Kyrgyz Republic. Of all the Central Asian states official development assistance records the most significant share of gross national income in the Kyrgyz Republic. Kyrgyzstan also from the states of Central Asia receives the largest amount of ODA per capita. The thesis analyzes the individual donors, duration of cooperation and the amount of ODA that Kyrgyzstan receives annually from these donors. Based on the method of regression analysis, this thesis determined the expected increase in the amount of financial resources within the ODA in the next two years. This bachelor thesis also analyzed the priority sectors of cooperation for individual donors and identified the most preferred areas, supported by ODA, which are infrastructure and social services, economic infrastructure and services, health and education. In addition, it focused on the critical year 2010, in which it held a political coup, after which occurred the democratization process and the introduction into the parliamentary form of government. This bachelor thesis monitors the changes of the character of ODA after this year and the response of donors to the aforementioned events, including the subsequent ethnic riots in the south of the country. Based on the collected data and graphics, the increase in the amount of ODA for Kyrgyzstan was recorded after 2010 and the response in the form of projects aimed at the reconstruction of the affected areas.

Project of a horse reproduction centre
Nágrová, Tereza ; Šichtař, Jiří (advisor) ; Jindřich, Jindřich (referee)
Due to the growing interest in the horse breeding and riding in recent years, the effort in their reproduction is also increasing. The process of equine reproduction leads to the improvement of the horse gene pool and better athletic performance. This is the reason why the artificial insemination methods were introduced besides a natural breeding, and the equine reproduction and the semen collection centers are build, as this biotechnological method requires the necessary equipment for the sampling, the evaluation and the processing of equine semen. The aim of this master's thesis is to compose a summary of information about the necessary requirements for building an equine reproduction center and then develop a project of the specific equine reproduction center for the equestrian complex in Marienbad. The review of literature provides general information about the building approval process, and technical requirements for agricultural buildings. In this part means for maintaining animal hygiene and veterinary measures are described as well as the requirements and minimum standards for horse stables, warehouses for feeding, bedding and paddocks. The next section focused on specific information about the approval process of the construction and the operation of an equine reproduction center, on the sanitary regulations, and the conditions for animal health surveillance and employees. Last but not least, this part of the thesis covers information about the requirements for technical equipment, the requirements for receiving and housing stallions. The majority of information is drawn from the laws and technical standards of the Czech Republic. The following part is focused on the evaluation of the data sources. In this chapter the equestrian center in Marienbad, where the equine reproduction center will be built, is described along with all main activities of the whole complex, information about employees, about all the buildings and equipment and current breeding. These buildings, which will be rebuilt in order to be used for the construction of the equine reproduction center, are described in more detail. The project itself begins with a business plan of the future reproduction center that analyzes an internal and an external business environment. The external environment is analyzed by competitors, suppliers and customers, and the internal environment is analyzed by marketing and HR strategy. Furthermore, the work is focused on the project itself, as all the buildings and parts of the reproductive center are described, for instance sampling room, laboratory, warehouse for insemination doses, stable for stallions, warehouse for feeding, paddocks and more. There is also a proposal for the necessary equipment and the economic evaluation of the reproductive center.

Financing of development strategy of the town
BÍZKOVÁ, Marie
The goal of presented gradual thesis is to propose financing of development strategy of the town. Thesis is divided into chapters and subsequently into subchapters for better orientation. It consists of two main parts, Review of Literature and Solution and Results chapters. The Review of Literature Chapter includes the list of literature of various authors, on which is based the practical part of thesis. Terms as municipality, sorts of municipalities and their effectiveness, as well as development strategy, strategic management, investment strategy, budget, town budget process and especially classification of income and expenditure are defined in this part. Possible resources of financing of development strategies were specified there too. Following practical part Solution and Results applies rules and knowledge described in Review of Literature Chapter to chosen municipality, in this case local government Bor. The town Bor is introduced by most important statistics, location etc. This chapter presents the Strategic Development Town Plan (SDTP), build-up process, processing and describes coherence to land use plan. SDTP includes investment actions intended to be implemented. Of course it depends on town budget and its development. In order to better visualize town money management, Bor was compared to 39 other towns of similar size by method of financial and property analysis or retrospective analysis. The appreciation of relative index was defined to every index. At the end proposal of financing was sorted. Thesis describes the process of approval of investment by local government and which factors are more or less important for final decision. The most important factor is source of financing, own or outsourcing, and its effect to financial health of municipality. Financial sources were compared in terms of advantages and disadvantages and difficulties of processing them. Selected resources were evaluated using a prospective analysis, which shows us the future form of the budget including financing of investment project. As optimal on the grounds of financing proposals resulted a combination of subsidies and self-financing.
