Quality of turf on golf field Mystěves and recommendation of management
Nová, Michaela ; Svobodová, Miluše (advisor) ; Zuzana, Zuzana (referee)
For this bachelor thesis was selected eighteen hole golf course - golf complex Myštěves. Golf Course was founded in 2001 commissioning znormovaného public course. In 2003 opened the first nine holes Club Course and in 2010 opened the second club nine, so that efforts to complete a good eighteen-hole course. Visitor statistics were monitored throughout the season 2012. This monitoring was carried out using an Internet portal TEE-TIME. This observation was statistically evaluated. During the 2012 season was visited golf complex Myštěves 6054 players. Most players have been recorded in the month of August and that 1375 players. In contrast, the least-visited month was November 2012, when the total number of players was only 156th. Speed measurements using two different greens "Stimpmetru" showed that in most measurements, the moving speed of greens at optimal levels, which is very favorable. Soil reaction on the greens, the whole course is at optimal levels, thus not need to have to modify it. This is due to soil conditions and fertilizers used. For monitoring pest was found to occur in a given location in a small extent. In contrast, algae, magical circularity grass, dry grass and small ohniskovitosti plísňovitosti lawn was highest in the summer months when this increase was supported by changeable weather with alternating rain and hot days. The highest incidence was on the greens, where arrangements were made for their removal. As proposals for action was carried out in-depth aeration of greens with applications topdresingu. This operation should improve intake of water, fertilizers and support microbial life in the upper layer of the sward. After topdresingu hearty salad dressing was performed and after 14 days on the greens combined nitrogen fertilizer applied the late summer and autumn managed to eliminate the incidence of diseases. The biggest problem of this golf course is outdated equipment maintenance lawns. Specifically mowers Ransomes (produced 1985-1997), the mower Jacobsen (the year 1994), tractor Zetor 6711 (the year 1978), bunkrovačka Toro (1997) and others. The problem with the club trying to solve, but the main obstacle is the lack of funds for the purchase of a new fleet. There are efforts to modernize, but in a very limited scale.

Determination of floodplains and hydrotechnical assessment of Mastník water flow based on the DMR 5G data
Čápová, Pavlína ; Roub, Radek (advisor) ; Havlíček, Vojtěch (referee)
This work engages in the watercourse called Mastník. It focuses on the determination of flooded areas for couple of series (Q5, Q10, Q50, Q100) and hydro-technical assessment of particular objects. The chosen section is situated on cadastral area of town Sedlčany in the Central Bohemia region. Its length is 1.973 kms and there is located 5 water management objects reaching to the flow profile of the watercourse. The data for this dissertation has been gained by the Czech State Administration of Land Surveying and Cadaster. It is about the digital relief of the 5th generation of aerial laser scanning. The laser rays are not capable of penetration the water surface, and thus describe the shape of the water-sources bed. So the tool called CroSolver was used to dig the water-sources bed. Then the hydrodynamic model has been created in program called HEC-RAS. From the results of hydrodynamic model then was evaluated the real water-technical state of the object. The outgoing data (dots defining the flood range to the surroundings) was after then inserted to the program ArcMap. Here the flood lines and from them the flood zones were created based on the particular series of the flows.

This work is focused on the small church buildings, which in the countryside and in the villages to create a unique phenomenon of cultural landscapes. In the theoretical part, the reader is introduced to the problems of small religious buildings, their typology, historical context, meaning and their status today. Furthermore, the work done its readers a legal framework for the protection of monuments, economics maintenance and its potential financing. In the practical part will be mapped and documented thirty small church buildings in Veliš parish, located south to southwest of Jicin in the Hradec Králové region. Small buildings will be divided into different categories, according to various criteria. There will be an assessment of what impact these criteria have on the condition of surveyed real estate. It will also be assessed a major objective, whether the owners fulfill legal responsibilities for the maintenance of these buildings. Finally, work will be recommendations to the recovery of one of the small sacred buildings.

The kea and the kaka, their distribution, state of endangerment and cognitive abilities
Vrbenská, Šárka ; Ledvinka, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Zita, Lukáš (referee)
The kea and the kaka are parrots endemic to the New Zealand. The kea occures mainly in mountains, the kaka has it's habitat in the native forests. The kea can be easily tamed and is by then often seen around touristic locations. Eventhough, he is quite rare. His population is estimated on 5 000 individuals. Both species are threatened by introduced mammals, who predate on their eggs, chicks and rearing females. Their numbers are decreasing also because of a competition about honeydew with introduced wasps and the lost of their natural habitat. The last two reasons occur especialy with the kaka. Both species feed generally on vegetal food supplemented with a small amount of animal protein, which is obtained principally from insects. Rumors about keas hunting and killing sheep are today considered being overstated, however there is a high possibility they like to nibble meat and fat from dead sheep. Despite this settlement and the fact they are both protected by law, some farmers keep shooting them. There is only about 40 kakas and 250 keas in zoological gardens and other institutions over the world. Both species need to be kept in spacious aviaries that are firm enough to resist their strong beeks. They are very social so they must be kept in pairs or flocks. These parrots are very inteligents, inquisitives and social. Therefore, there is a lot of experiments about the cognitive abilities of the kea. It has been found that he is able to learn simple tasks like pulling a string with a treat on it or opening a box with several locks. It is also possible that the individuals learn to perform operations only by simple observation of another bird.

Assessing of the current situation, historical research and design of the reconstruction of selected area in "Průhonický park"
Čechová, Kateřina ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor) ; Jiří, Jiří (referee)
At this thesis, there was rated the current status of choosed part of Průhonický park near Prague, based on inventory. Also there was realized historical exploration and detailed photodocumentation. Then design was realized, based on these sources. At the literature review, there were detaily solved history and rise of landscaped park. Also, there were described recovery of historical gardens ways and conditions, Průhonický park is one of them. Also, important composite elements were characterized for land "Fan of vistas", concretely the vista and water surface reflection. At the end, there is descriptions of suburban park and its functions, beacuse of Průhonický park is Prague suburban park. Methodics for inventory was choosed according the Machovec, because I continue the work, which followed this methodics. Historical survey was based on literary and map bases. Also were described the natural conditions, which are necessary for future suggestions. Re-inventory was based on previous inventories of this land. Results were put into graphs, they are quality growth indexes. Felling suggestions was made, based on this inventory. Ford felling are determined unpromising trees and trees which hind in vista. In suggestions is planting of trees and perenials. Choose of trees was based on present occurrence in park, also right in historical and placeble way. Also there was recovery of furniture and road system. Road system was suggested with correct historical draff surface. The furniture was choosed with respect of historical proporces. For upsurge this land was created the pier at the pond shore and wooden road, instead of natural path. These growths are very precious, so there were suggested informational tags with information about trees, epecially by the road system. At the end, there was made the budget.

Sociální prostředí a zdravotnictví odvětví
da Rocha Fernandes, Joao Diogo ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Mevenkamp, Nils (referee)
The objective of this thesis was to defend an alternative approach by health policy makers for improving health outcomes through investing on social factors of peoples' lives, rather than by increasing health expenditures. In order to defend this theory, this master thesis addresses two research questions: Which are the social determinants of health with largest impact on health status of individuals? And what is the statistical correlation between those social determinants of health and self-reported health status, and psychological health, for Germany, Denmark, Spain and Ireland? The first question was answered by developing a comprehensive research among the mostrelevant literature in the field of social determinants of health and the second through the construction of a statistical multiple regression model. According this study the social determinants with largest impact on the health status of individuals are: physical activity, education level, the welfare state, emotional support, socio-economic status, living conditions, working conditions, and life balance. Regarding the results of multiple regression models all variables followed the expected trend and it was possible to proof significant statistical correlation in 7 of the 8 determinants chosen, especially in the cases of working conditions and life balance, where those having problems managing these aspects of life experienced 50% or in some cases 30% of the health status of individuals with positive experiences in these life dimensions.

Cattle farm Helvikovice
Dědečková, Tereza ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
Bachelor‘s thesis deals with the renewal and extension of the main building complex in Lower Court Helvíkovice in the Pardubice region. The aim of this work is to find the appropriate architectural and urban design, which would meet the requirements for new functional use of the original building to agricultural use. It is a secluded farm, which is engaged in breeding bulls. There are more buildings, but part of the thesis is to develop the main building, which serves as the public. The exact current status is unknown, only the design documentation of reconstruction of the embrace from which partially come out. This object is an elongated shape, which I extended because of the insertion of stairs to the attic, and this extension continues further winter garden of round wood glued trusses. In order to alleviate the length of the building, I used vertical strips of wood paneling on the facade. The newly designed building, which is located in close proximity to the road, invites the public to visit, as part of the building is also a shop with fresh bull meat. Also sitting in the conservatory, overlooking the whole area and the possibility of snacks. Who would want to stay longer has the opportunity to book one of the five apartments that are located in the attic of the building. Another part of the building is used for cutting meat, with all its requirements. The last part of the building is left as a dwelling for the owner of the farm.

Opportunities for Transformation of the System of Care for Vulnerable Children in the Czech Republic
Klusáček, Jan ; Háva, Petr (advisor) ; Munková, Gabriela (referee)
This thesis had two maim aims. First to analyse the work of municipal social workers in Pardubice county. It sought to answer following questions: what are the current practices of OSPOD workers in various areas of their work? What will the new law on social protection of children change? What else is needed to move closer the best possible practise? The second aim was to estimate what proportion of children currently placed in institutions for babies in Pardubice county would need foster in case the institutions were closed down and what proportion of children currently placed need not be removed from the family at all were their families provided with support. As for the first aim, the analysis has shown that many aspects of the work of OSPOD play an important in the system of care for vulnerable children, yet the current practise in most of them significantly lags behind what could be called best possible practise. The new law will change the situation only partly. On the positive side significant changes in the practise of OSPOD is achievable. As for the second aim, due to limitations of available data, only very rough estimates could be made. But the estimates suggest that not so huge human and financial resources would be required to replace institutions for babies

Data Warehouse Management and MWF Optimization
Matoušková, Barbora ; Maryška, Miloš (advisor) ; Faina, Michal (referee)
This thesis focuses on the data warehouse of an extensive bank intitution from its operational management point of view (for the main part). To grasp the fast overview of the data warehouse the thesis includes the description of its data architecture, transformation processes and the way of presenting data to its users. Besides that the description of systems used for both the business data and for the metadata purposses is also included in this thesis. The thesis also covers operational activities including the identification of weak areas and their improvements. Another part of the thesis is represented by the project of optimization of a scheduling mechanism (Master Workflow) for running transformation processes, that helps to minimalize the metadata load of the Teradata database system. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the environment of the data warehouse in an understandable way. It's critical to understand the environment for both, the operational management personnel and for developers, that can supply the warehouse with higher quality solutions and ease the deployment of new deliveries into the production environment. This goal is achieved by the description of the data warehouse (mainly the description of its data architecture, transformation processes, operational activities and tools used to deploy changes into the production environment). Another goal is to give a feedback on the operational activities from the operational personnel point of view. This helps identify weak spots and can lead to its elimination. The last goal is to improve the scheduling mechanism that controls and runs all transformation processes. This goal is achieved by a project. The thesis describes the starting state, implemented changes, final state and the consideration whether the project was successful or not. The thesis brings several contributions: easier understanding of the data warehouse and the way of managing ETL processes -- for the operational management personnel and developers, which can bring the improvement of new solutions. The possibility of elimination of weak areas in the operational activities. And thanks to the project described there are two changes -- standardization and the metadata load of Teradata decreased. My own contribution to this issue is, besides the useful introduction to the data warehouse, the identification of the weak areas, suggested improvements and also the project of optimization Master Workflow which took about 17 MD. The thesis is devided into chapters based on the topics described: introductory information, theoretical base, characteristics of the main systems, the description of the data warehouse, the description of operational activities including the identification of weak areas, and at the end there is the project of optimization of Master Workflow. In the last chapter there is the final conclusion of the entire thesis.
