Czech Public diplomacy in relation to Germans public diplomacy

The thesis deals with the issue of public diplomacy at the level of bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Germany. The thesis defines the importance of public diplomacy; it introduces a fundamental concept of both Czech and German public diplomacy with a focus on cultural diplomacy. Historical part outlines the contribution and influence of both countries to the public of the other, and the example of the Czech Centre in Munich shows the Czech practice of cultural diplomacy as an important tool of public diplomacy and the form of the image presented by the Czech Republic in Germany.

Youth Travel with focus on role of student organisations

The topic of the diploma thesis is tourism of young people and it researches the influence of three chosen student's organisation on VŠE. First two chapters of the thesis are dedicated to the general description of tourism of young people which is also referred to as Youth Travel. This new segment of tourism shows specific characteristics as for motivation factors, budget, length of stay and usage of modern technologies which are described here. Next chapter deals with the benefits of this segment to the tourism industry. Various forms of Youth Travel and its demand is described in the second chapter more detailed. Third chapter speaks about three student's organisations -- AIESEC Praha, AEGEE Praha and ESN VŠE Buddy System -- which are also focused on outgoing tourism of their members. A research was carried out for the practical part of the thesis. The research examined knowledge of the students about the offer of their organisations, their personal benefits of membership in such a club and their travel habits. Later a second research was carried out among all the students of VŠE (meaning non-members also), which showed a potential for a new student's organisation, which would function as a tour-operator and would organize trips and tours for its members. In connection with this research there is a proposal for such a new organisation called VŠEtravel, z.s.

The use of EU funded resources in a selected company

The goal of this thesis is to describe the theoretical bases about the issue of financial support funded by the European Union in the years 2007 - 2013 and to show their practical use in a project implemented by the organization PROSTOR PRO, o.p.s. which is called "Zero grade in working life". The next part deals with the program period 2014 - 2020 where the most attention is dedicated to the field of youth unemployment. It is within this very period that the company PROSTOR PRO, o.p.s. is going to implement its next project. The recommended field of focus for future projects is based on established and supported areas as well as questionnaire surveys.

Voluntariness in Non-profit Organisations and meaning its in regional development

This thesis focuses on volunteering in the non-profit and subsidized organizations and its significance to the developement of the region. The aim is to focus on two specific in the region of Nový Bydžov, a non-profit organization and an allowance. The work consists of a teoratical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of volunteering, non-profit organizations and the developement of the region. The practical part is running analysis of the non-profit organizations and organizations, which one focuses on persóna with disabilities and the second is about the care and facilities for children and youth. The firther investigation is the determination of whether the citizens would like to actively participace in the services of volunteers, what motivates them to work, where they see probléme and shortcomings.

Ekonomický nacionalismus v rámci Evropské unie a Jednotného trhu: případové studie Francie, Německa a Spojeného kralovství

This paper examines the phenomenon of economic nationalism within market interactions of different economic models of governance in the European Union. The first section offers a retrospective of economic nationalism interpretations at different periods of time, with a focus on the past century. It also introduces the reader to new forms of economic nationalism, particular for the European integration context and which ultimately represent the subject of this paper. Next the study focuses on the particularities of the European economic model and its relation to state interventionism. It also attempts to identify EU's mandate of action and instruments in this direction, with a special attention to the key economic sectors and dominant forms of interventionism. The last chapter provides a closer look at national regulatory traditions of three economic models: British, German and French and traces approaches to economic nationalism within these distinct models of economic governance.

Photography and the world of a man with mental handicap In the thesis submitted herein, I focus on photography as a hobby of people with mental handicap, as well as, as means of their self-expression and communication with society. I deal with the basics of leisure time, life-long education and photography. Further, I present an example of a currently running life-long educational project for people with mental handicap and, as well, my own project supported by EU youth program funds. As an enclosure, there is a selection of pictures of students of a life-long educational program With Camera To a Knowledge.

Swimming sprts in the Czech Republic in years 1976 - 1990

The title of the work: Swimming sports in The Czech Republic in years 1976-1990 The Aims of the work The aim of the work was to compile all the accessible pieces of information concerning swimming sports and also to focus on the development of these sports in The Czech Republic in years 1976-1990. The work deals with development, organization and competitions in swimming sports at that period of time. Methods The chronological method is used in the whole work. There is a short history of swimming sports above all in our country in years 1976-1990 there. The final aim of this method is also to show the complex in its main features in that way, that it would be easier to get its recognition, structure and developing trends. The comparative method, which is based on comparison of various units, is used in the sixth chapter Results towards foreign countries in years 1976-1990. Comparative analysis of the contents of German language exams with focus on the German language diploma II KMK exam

Meine Arbeit analysiert und vergleicht die urspriingliche und die gegenwártige Version des Deutschen Sprachdiploms des zweiten Grades der Kultusministerkonferenz. Die Innovationen dieser Priifung entstanden auf Grund der Anpassung des Sprachentestens an das Dokument des Europarats an den Gemeinsamen europaischen Referenzrahmen fur Sprachen, in dem unter anderem die Anforderungen an ein modern gestaltetes Beurteilen vermittelt werden. In der Analyse werden die Unterschiede im Inhalt, in der Form und im Umfang von Testen der Sprachmitteln und Sprachfertigkeiten festgestellt. Es wird die Anwendung von Aufgabentypen beobachtet und es werden auch die Veranderungen in den Bewertungskriterien von beiden Priifungsversionen vergleicht. In der gegenwartigen Priifung werden die Sprachmittel nur noch als Bestandteil vom Testen der Sprachfertigkeiten beurteilt. Die bestehende Priifung weist einen ausgeglichenen Anteil aller Sprachfertigkeiten an der Bewertung der Priifung aus, und zwar zugunsten der rezeptiven Sprachfertigkeiten. Die Priifungsteile Hórverstehen und Leseverstehen verftigen jetzt iiber ein breiteres Spektrum von Aufgabentypen, deren Geschlossenheit zum hoheren Genauigkeitsgrad der Bewertung und zu einer schnelleren Auswertung fiihrt. Critical evaluation of taping methods with focus on its effects

Title: Critical evaluation of taping methods with focus on its effects. Objectives: Purpose of this diploma thesis is critical evaluation of taping methods with concentration on its effects. Evaluation, comparison of contradictory statements and obtained information will be done based on a study and analysis of literature and scientific studies regarding taping methods and its efficiencies. On this base, final conclusions about real efficiency of taping will be made. Methods: In this diploma thesis, which is a critical review, document studies method will be used, along with analysis of professional scientific sources and their comparison. Results: The sport tapes (solid and elastic) and the kinesio tapes may participate on the possible mechanisms of the taping method effect. The various kinds of the tapes are different in the consequences of its effects. For lack of good scientific studies we can not clearly objectify the method of the taping. Choreography analysis with focus on Technical index of the individual women senior category in sports aerobics of the world champioships in the year 199, 2003, 2007

The objective of my thesis is to determine elements of difficultness which are contained in sport aerobics choreographies of the individual women senior in the world championships through the years 1999, 2003, and 2007 with focus on technical index and establish regularity of its appearance, level of its difficulties and chronological timing of the elements in particular choreographies. In the same time I will statistically confront technical aspects described in technical index and development of the choreographies in mentioned championships.
