Analysis of projects implemented within ROP Central Bohemia in the municipality Rožmitál pod Třemšínem the programming periods 2004-2006 and 2007-2013

This thesis focuses on the regional development of the territory, with particular emphasis on the development of the village Czech Republic. It provides a comprehensive view of the theoretical basis of regional development and regional policy of the European Union, including in particular its application to the territory. The thesis analyzes programs that have been co-financed by the European Union under the regional operational programs in the programming periods 2004-006 and 2007-2013. Then it evaluates each programming period and summarizes their impact on community development. To complete the development of the work is completed by a SWOT analysis of the village, where they outlined the strengths and weaknesses of the territorial unit, including possible development opportunities and threats.

European funds and their usage for logistics projects in Czech Republic.

The thesis discusses the issue of freight villages and the possible usage of European funds for their construction. The topic is very actual because by the current program period 2014-2020 has appeared change concerning the financial support of multimodal freight transportation. The aim of this thesis is to determine, whether from the production companies operating in the automotive industry exists demand for such a freight villages. Needed information has been obtained on the basis of in-depths inteviews of manufacturing companies located in the region Vysočina.

Legal regulation of the creation and protection of the Natura 2000 system

The topic of my thesis is "Legal regulation of the creation and protection of the Natura 2000 system". The aim of my thesis is to provide analysis of legal sources relating to Natura 2000, both international and Czech and EU level. In this context, I have dealt with the judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union from the year 2007 to 2010, which addressed the Natura 2000 and contributed to the interpretation of relevant provisions. Particular attention was devoted issue of public contracts covered by the Act No. 114/1992 Coll. on nature and landscape, as one of the ways the creation and protection of the Natura 2000system. The most important of the rules governing the European Union's law Natura 2000 are Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora, which together with Council Directive 2009/147/EC on the conservation of wild birds are the cornerstones of conservation of the European Union. An important source for the interpretation of EU laws are judgements of the Court of Justice of the European Union. These judgments concerning Natura 2000 can be divided into two circles of problems. Between Prague and Vienna. Hermann Bahr and J.S. Machar and the spaces of (Central) European Modernism

This thesis deals with the relations between Czech and Viennese literary modernism during the 1890s, key amongst which were the contacts between Hermann Bahr and J. S. Machar. The contextual underpinnings, nature and significance of these relations are analysed in two monograph chapters. Chapter One focuses on the formation and transformation of Bahr's modernist programme as it moved between Berlin, Paris and Vienna, and an analysis is made of the programme keywords (Nervenkunst, Nervenromantik, Überwindung des Naturalismus, die Moderne, das gute Europäertum, Entdeckung der Provinz), which from the early 1890s found a response among Czech critics (e. g. F. Zákrejs, J. S. Machar and F. V. Krejčí). Bahr's conception of Viennese modernism and Austrian culture and the programme of the Die Zeit review were substantially influenced by Parisian experiences of the plurality of artistic production. Chapter Two follows developments in the work of J. S. Machar after he moved from Prague to Vienna in 1889. Machar's experience in Vienna is analysed in texts of various genres (lyric poetry, correspondence, autobiography, polemics and essay writing) and on the basis of his varying literary and intellectual contacts, while attention is paid in particular to his relationship with Jaroslav Vrchlický and T. Attitude of selected states of the European Union to Syrian refugees

Syrian Civil War and its impacts have escalated into the worst humanitarian crisis of the 21st century. Syria's neighbor countries are no longer able to accept Syrian refugees and so the refugees are forced to seek asylum in other countries. The countries of the European Union became their often sought sanctuary. Opinions on receiving refugees from Syria are split - some countries have decided to accept refugees, other are still waiting. The paper consists of theoretical background and empirical part. The theoretical background explains motives which lead countries to comply international commitments. The empirical part is targeted at asylum policy of the European Union and mainly at attitudes of Germany and France to accepting Syrian refugees.

Inter-institutional cooperation and disputes within the European Union

The aim of the thesis is to assess, which institutions are mostly concerned in inter-institutional disputes, what kinds of actions between these institutions CJEU primarily dealt with, or whether or not were these actions found to be warranted or not. The first part of the thesis is focused on the status of inter-institutional cooperation in primary and secondary EU law and European Union institutions that play a role in inter-institutional cooperation. The second part deals with the consequences of a breach of the principle of cooperation by performing the analysis of selected legal disputes between the institutions and bodies of the European Union.

Změny v regionální politice v novém programovém období 2014 - 2020

The thesis is focused on the identification of changes in regional policy in the new programming period, based on a comparison of program for 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. It is also focused on the implications of these changes for applicants and implementers of the project applications. The first section identifies changes in regional policy on European level, then changes on national level. It will identify changes in the level of cohesion regions and finally there is an effort to formulate recommendations for subjects that face that problem of regional policy-related areas, specifically for applicants and im-plementers of the project applications in the new period.
