Game as a Means of Teaching in Reading and Literature Lessons for the Second and Third Grades of Elementary Schools

The thesis deals with the application of creative methods and forms of work during reading and literature lessons in the 2nd and 3rd grades of elementary school. The main focus is on good orientation in contemporary professional literature, alternative textbooks and methodical guides. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part presents teaching of reading from the pedagogical-psychological point of view, it focuses on didactical-methodical aspects, on the problem of intensification of teaching in reading and literature lessons possibilities of modernization, optimization, rationalization and efficiency. In the practical part I introduce interesting methods and forms of work, new unconventional model approaches and effective methodical management of the teaching process. The thesis is enriched with attractive techniques for practising and deepening one's knowledge. In this way, the practical part offers a collection of playful forms of work which can be used during reading and literature lessons. Some games are verified in practice.

Teambuilding in nursing practice

This thesis deals with teambuilding in connection with management of changes in clinical practice and in manager practice. The executives in nursing are registered nurse managers, bearers of changes in quality of nursing care. Courses of teambuilding are a part of educational programmes for development of managerial skills of nurses. Teambuilding means both, team education or building of a team, and training focused on support of mutual confidence and team cooperation. A combination of methods of qualitative and quantitative research was chosen to elaborate the empiric part of the paper. The objective of a qualitative part was to find out, how much are the teambuilding courses used in practice and what is the benefit of the courses for the team. The data were obtained by means of a half-standardized interview with 6 respondents who took part in the teambuilding course. Three hypotheses were set on the basis of these interviews. These hypotheses became then a background for the second stage of the research by means of quantitative method. The objectives of quantitative research were to survey nurse managers´ awareness of possibilities of team education, to find out whether the nurses are interested in courses and to reveal obstacles in realization of teambuilding courses in medical facilities. By means of questionnaires for ordinary nurses and for nurse managers we achieved the objectives. The hypothesis about the awareness of nurse managers of the course was not proved. The second hypothesis about the interest of ordinary nurses in teambuilding courses was not proved either. The lack of financial resources was mentioned as the most frequent obstacle for realization of the course. During the collection of the data for the research in management in nursing, a lack of publishing activities of nurse managers was revealed. A lot of interesting information was obtained thanks to the interviews with nurse managers. Publishing of the experience of sister managers with leading and managing nursing teams would become significant contribution and inspiration for other nurses in practice.

Social perception of Game Management with emphasis on social group dealing with ornithology

This bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation of the stand of ornithological comunity on game management under the terms of problematical relationships between these two groups. Its goal is to chart the concrete fields of arguments within the legislation, as well as game management´s beneficial effects and moral aspects. Another pursuit is also to sketch the realization of possible cooperation. Using questionnaire, which was sent to members of Czech Society for Ornithology and its regional subdivisions, the respondents answered 20 questions and these results were statistically evaluated.
The results show, that game management itself is perceived slightly differently compared with perception of individual hunters. The game management is evaluated more as salutary, whereas the hunters evoke rather negative feelings among respondents. It can be caused by subjective experiences, which influence the way the respondents see the whole game management society. Legislation seems to be the often repeated problem, to be concrete its breaking for example by illegal hunting or insufficient demands for to get a hunting and a gun licence. Ornithologists would also welcome changes regarding the list of the game animals. Problem is also the insufficient knowledge of hunters in the field of ornithology and ekology, which could be solved by tightening the conditions for the hunting and the gun licence.
From the proposals, which were laid in the questionnairy and which are dealing with improving of the mutual relations, the respondents voted mainly discussion - collective, regular, at the expert level, where could be possible to solve actual issues relating game management, as well as ornithology.

Analysis of beer consumption preferences

The main subject of this thesis is analysis of preferences in beer consumption. The main goal of the thesis is to discover and evaluate factor which could affect consumer's behaviour. Therefore, t2he basis for this thesis is a questionnaire which was prepared according to marketing research principles.
The first part is about beer and marketing research. The part about beer contains main historical data, a brief brewing process description, including main ingredients and beer types. Next, there are mentioned main Czech breweries. Inconsiderable part are also factors which affect beer consumption. In the part dealing with the marketing research are described the steps, methods of data collecting ad data resources.
The second part is about the questionnaire itself and its evaluation. The questionnaire had 322 respondents.
Firstly, the results are summarized and then are tested based on null hypothesis.

The role of the social worker from the view of the client of contact

This bachelor thesis deals with the opinions of contact center Prevent clients relating the role of social workers. Then it finds out what are the clients needs to use the service offer and it is also focused on a subjective satisfaction rate with meeting the needs related to the offered service. In the theoretical part it deals with drug addiction, then social work and also the proffesion of a social worker and a social educator. It also focuses on help, support and the offered service to the Prevent contact centre in České Budějovice clients. The end of the theoretical part describes the motivation and motivational interwieving, attitudes and needs of the clients. In the practical part it deals with data collection methodology according to the grounded theory, comprises the research questions and objectives. The research group consisted of 10 clients of Prevent contact centre in České Budějovice. Result of the thesis will be also used as a supplementary material for evaluation of the Prevent contact centre service quality. Further the results could also be used as clients feedback and thanks to the information the centre can work on a possible change with meeting the client needs and offering service to them. Thesis outputs can also be a valuable information source for wide professional public.

The Probation and Mediation Service in the Practice of the Czech Republic

Probation and mediation service is an institution which has been gaining increasingly vital and important position in the field of criminal law. The service focuses on a very wide range of subjects and its activities aim not only to monitor but also to help. It realizes the execution of alternative sentences and also shows activity in pre-trial proceedings and in proceedings before the court decision. It cooperates with many different organizations, it is involved in many projects. For criminal justice it has become an essential and equal partner in dealing with the consequences of crimes committed by both adult offenders and juveniles. It contributes to the favourable development of the re-education of accused and convicted people, supervises proper execution of sentenced alternative punishments and the achievement of their purpose. It makes sure that the collective process was fulfilled to deal with all the adverse consequences of illegal acts of the offenders and that the victims utilize their legal rights and entitlements. Probation and mediation service provides a comprehensive view of both criminal activities and the personalities of offenders.

Environmental Impact Assessment Follow up analysis of Pankrác administrative centre

This diploma thesis evaluates issues of environmental impact assessment, focusing on post-project analysis of the Pankrác administrative center. Follow-up evaluation is one of the most important practice through EIA which can fulfil one's potential. Major contribution is mainly the EIA feedback which will be compared between real and predicted impact. Follow-up will provide knowledge to avoid possible non-conformances in EIA evaluation process in the future. Methodical of this thesis is based on international standards of good practice in EIA follow-up, which should always correspond with the specific circumstances of the project and the specific context. The main principles are results-oriented approach, learning, institutional commitment and responsibility. Meaning of the follow-up is the main research question to evaluate the environmental impact assessment. The thesis evaluates the implementation of the main comments from the various point of views. All opinions, changes and views of all participants must be reviewed in implementation and operation phases of the EIA process. Another sub-section provides a comparison of the noise pollution before and after realization of the project and analytical part concludes evaluate compliance with the general principles of good practice. The results collect comprehensive assessment of the EIA process. The follow-up for Pankrác administrative center was important and it proved that positive cooperation with the investor made processes more effective in the terms of the environmental protection of the area. In the future it would be appropriate to dedicate more effort and time for the follow-up. Especially raising awareness of the existence and positive impact of the entire EIA process and also to protect the environmental and public health.

Design of Staff Assessment System

This diploma thesis focuses on the topic of working assessment of staff. The objective is to create a new system evaluation and motivation of staff in the factory. The theoretical part of the individual chapters is focused on the evaluation system, evaluation methods, evaluation interview, system implementation, motivation and remuneration. The practical part describes the company and its system of evaluating and remuneration employees. Proposal for a new system was created by collecting information from the questionnaires, interviews with employees and studying business documents. The new system of evaluation and remuneration is proposed for all employees, including their objectives and criteria. The final part gives the company managements recommendations in the implementation of systems, proposal of employee benefits and take advantage of non-financial motivation funds.

Potential of sustainable development of the Village

This thesis analyzes the sustainable development strategy focusing on the environmental pillar and the subsequent evaluation of the implementation of environmental sustainability in Kladno. The main aim was to evaluate the active and environmental policy perspective of the city.
In the theoretical part are described various laws, documents and instruments relating to environmental policy and sustainable development. The thesis is talking about the area of interest, its historical development, demography, environment, social and cultural fields.
Using concrete examples it is recommended how the environmental management of Kladno could proceed in the future. The proposed recommendations are a result of analysis of all available information which include the needs and requirements of city residents.It is important to update Strategy of environmental policy and introduction of activities from the Sustainable Development Strategy SO ORP Kladno in to practise. Improving of public services and community cohesion. Establishment of school forums in primary schools.
The final part contains the results of a field survey. Questionnaires were handed and collected in combination with controlled interviews.

Monitoring of raccoon dog aktivity in Opava

This work deals with invasive predator racoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides). It is a comprehensive work consisting of general information about its history and later spread to the whole Word, etology and biology as information collected on the basis of thousands of images and hundreds of videos from scout camera located close to natural burrow at Opava in the hunting district hunting club in Hlavnice. The emphasis here is primarily on the course of the day and night activities throughout the year, food preferences, coexistence with other kinds of beasts and ways of dealing with stressful situations. During the observation we were found that his peak of activity was among the sunrise and the second one lately after sunset. Cohabitation with badger is also possible. As for food preferences we realized that racoon dog did not prioritize any kind of food and eat everything what we gave to him.
