Second grade students of a selected elementary school and solving non-standard problems

In the theoretical part, the diploma thesis focuses on the definition of the legislative framework regarding to the inclusion of non-standard tasks to the teaching methods in the Czech Republic, with regard to RVP ZV, and then on the explanation of the terms task, and non-standard task in a mathematical context, with reference to the definitions of both, Czech and foreign authors. Subsequently, the author focus on the typology of non-standard tasks, and their use in textbooks and workbooks used during lessons of mathematic in the Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis is an empirical research based on the results of a questioning students from a specified elementary school. The questioning is focused not only on the level of students familiarity with non-standard tasks, but also on their ability to solve these tasks. This research is supplemented by the results of interviews with individual teachers in the field of mathematics at the selected elementary school. During debates with teachers, it became clear that use non-standard tasks like a teaching method is not very common in the Czech Republic. The history of the Ruzyně school in the years 1922-1948

The diploma thesis deals with the historical development of elementary education is the village of Ruzyně until 1948. The work is divided into several chapters, which are connected one to the other. The work contains a brief history of the village of Ruzyně and history of school in the years 1922-1948. It summarizes and analyzes available and regional sources. The work follows the organization of teaching and the status of pupils, changes in the teaching staff, religious teaching, extracurrcular activities, celebrations, importat events and the use of the school building. The thesis also focuses on tne influence of political changes in education and on historical events. The basic for the preparation of this work are mainly the chronicles of the village and chronicles of the school.
Sun and its presentation within lessons at primary school

My bachelor's thesis deals exclusively with the topic of the Sun and its presentation in primary school. The first half of the thesis is devoted to the stars, general information about the Sun (its meaning, distance, origin and evolution), the composition and structure of the Sun, its movements, solar activity, eclipses and research. This is followed by a section on the presentation of the Sun in the framework of the Primary and Secondary School Curricula of selected schools. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of textbooks, the opinions and form of teaching of the interviewed teachers, and above all to a questionnaire survey which deals with pupils' knowledge of this topic in selected schools.
Galaxies and their presentation within lessons at primary school

My bachelor theses deals with the galaxy topics (including Milky Way) and with their presentations during elementary school lessons. The first part of my theses is devoted to Milky way (how this name was founded, how it is created and structured, it ´s devoted to its history and investigation, to local galaxy groups) and to extragalactical objects (the history of investigation, the Hubble classification of galaxies, the rotation of galaxies and the formation of spiral shoulders, their crashes and the canibalism of galaxies, distances of galaxies, the Hubble constant). The following part involves how to present galaxies as a part of the Framework Education Programme (FEP) and the School Education Programme (SEP) and the textbook analysis. The final part deals with the analysis of the questionnaire among teachers and teachers to be if and how it is possible to implement this topic into elementary school lessons (Milky Way included), how much interest pupils have in this topic and their knowledge.
The Sun in the first grade of elementary school

My master thesis deals with the Sun. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the stars, the origin of the Sun, its evolution and future, the structure of the Sun, the Sun's activities, its motion, its influence on the planet Earth, the magnetic field of the Sun, the exploration of the Sun and solar mythology. Last but not least, the RVP ZV and the ŠVP of selected schools are briefly discussed. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the research of the pupils' knowledge, the teaching of my sample lesson, the evaluation of the input and output questionnaires and the comparison of the results with each other.
An effect of attended outdoor education on pre-service biology teachers

This diploma thesis deals with the effect of attended outdoor education on pre-service biology students at University in České Budějovice. There is an explanation of what is outdoor education and what are its schemes and forms in the theoretical part. Then there are the benefits and disadvantages of outdoor education which relate to the reasons why outdoor education is or is not part of teaching biology. In the last part of the theoretical part there is the incorporation of outdoor education into the RVP ZV and a chapter about outdoor education in other researches. A questionnaire was assembled based on the theoretical part and it was sent to former students of Faculty of Education in České Budějovice who studied biology. The outcomes of the questionnaire are in the last part. By some students the correlation of the number of participated outdoor courses and results of the studying was made but no relation was confirmed.
Preparation of Didactic Materials for Teaching First Aid at Elementary Schools

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of first aid education at the second stage of elementary schools. The aim of the thesis was to create a set of tasks that the teacher can use as a part of the students' independent work during the time when the teacher is working with other students during practical training. The first part of the thesis contains a general overview of the importance of first aid, the integration of first aid in curricular documents at elementary schools and the possibilities of teaching first aid, including organizational forms, methods and didactic tools for teaching first aid in schools. The second part deals with the creation of worksheets with tasks and their evaluation. A total of 9 different types of tasks were created in 4 variants, which were then grouped into 4 worksheets. The assessment of the applicability of the tasks in practice was carried out in the form of an evaluation questionnaire, in terms of comprehensibility, difficulty and entertainment. The results show that the created tasks meet the above-mentioned characteristics at an appropriate level - the pupils rated them as comprehensible, reasonably challenging and entertaining. Knowledge of 8th and 9th grade elementary school students about reproductive health

The Bachelor thesis entitled Knowledge of pupils in 8th and 9th grades in primary schools about reproductive health focuses on the level of awareness of pupils aged 13 -16 about the issues of menstruation, safe sex, contraception, pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis describes health and its division into reproductive and sexual. It also describes the reproductive organs of women and men, menstrual periods and menstrual devices, sexual intercourse, and the possibilities offemale and male contraception, as adolescents need to know how to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. There are therefore individual chapters devoted precisely to sexually accurate diseases, pregnancy and abortion. The final chapter deals with the education of pupils on reproductive health issues and the role of midwives in the educational process. In the research part of the bachelor s thesis, a quantitative method was chosen as the method of research investigation. The data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to respondents on the social networking site Facebook. The questionnaire consisted of 36 questions, of which 23 were closed, 12 were semi-closed and 1 was open. The data obtained was processed and evaluated using Microsoft Excel and SPSS computer programs. Graphs showing the responses of boys and girls in the 8th and 9th grades of primary schools have been produced for each question. The research pool consisted of 101 respondents. Of the 8th grade, a total of 36 respondents were 7 boys and 29 girls. Of the 9th grade, a total of 65 respondents were 13 boys and 52 girls. The aim of this work was to find out what boys and girls of the 8th and 9th grades had knowledge about reproductive health, i.e. menstruation, safe sex, contraception, pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. 3 hypotheses have been established for the research part. The first hypothesis was to determine whether girls in 8th grade had greater knowledge of reproductive health than boys in the same year. This hypothesis has been disproved. The second hypothesiswas to determine whether girls in the 9th grade had greater knowledge of reproductive health than boys in the same year. The second hypothesis was disproved. The third hypothesis looked at whether 9th graders had greater knowledge of reproductive health than 8th graders. This hypothesis has been confirmed.

The bachelor thesis deals with the use of leisure activities for older school-age chil-dren in České Budějovice. The thesis contains a literature search related to the re-search on the use of organized leisure offers. The literature search characterizes the older school-age children, it also deals with leisure education and leisure time of chil-dren and youth, institutions for leisure time of older school-age children and describes leisure activities. The research section includes the research objectives, research que-stions, hypotheses and the research itself. The main aim of the research was to find out whether and to what extent older school-age children use leisure facilities in České Budějovice, and if they do not, for what reason.
