Implementation of ISO 9001 in a manufacturing company

This bachelor thesis describes the implementation of quality management in a manufacturing company and setting up the correct certification process ISO 9001:2016. In the theoretical part, this work deals with the identification of key concepts such as quality management system, total quality management and certification processing. The practical part deals with monitoring the non-certified manufacturing company. The company is evaluated for certification by practical observations using data and analysis of individual production processes. The result of the work is the determination of the necessary documents based on the individual parts of the standard.

The theoretical part of the work is focused on professional literature search and explanation of basic concepts. In the analytical part, strategic and financial analysis of a specific company is performed. The practical part is focused on the introduction of a specific subject of financing and the subsequent proposal of its most suitable method of financing.

The conclusion deals with the economic evaluation of the proposal.

Transformation of potato with protease inhibitor gene SPI-2

The subject of my thesis was to genetically modify a potato for increased resistance against its pathogens and pests. In developing a resistant plant, it is quite common to use the same type of molecules that plants use themselves in their defense reactions. In this work I used the gene SPI-2 originating from a honeycomb moth (Galleria mellonella). The protein SPI-2 is a member of serine protease inhibitors. Since the previous attempts of the team to detect the protein in transformed plants haven't been successful, the basic form of the gene was modified by adding a Kozak sequence near the start codon, which should have increased the translation initiation and hence increase the level of the protein. Two constructs were prepared for the transformation: SPI-2-T a SPI-2-Y. They differ by one amino acid, which slightly changes their inhibitory activity. First, the construct SPI-2-T was used for a transient transformation of tobacco Nicotiana benthamiana by agroinfiltration of its leaves. Then both constructs were used for a stable transformation of Solanum tuberosum cv. Desireé. The detection of the protein has not been successful, although the inserted gene was transcribed and his sequence was verified by sequencing. It is therefore most likely that the protein has a low stability in the cytoplasm....

Title: Marketing plan of PTU Praha Objectives: The main goal of this diploma thesis was to create a marketing plan for PTU Praha, including analyses of external and internal surroundings. The reason was to propose a concept for that organisation to increase its prosperity by marketing activities. Methods: Both methods of analyses, qualitative (interview and expert pannel) and quantitative (written or electronic survey), were used. Results: Data acquired from qualitative analysis was utilized and summarised in the results section of this diploma thesis. Based on those results and gathered information from interviews the best stratégy with optimal composition of markeing-mix tools has been chosen. Throughout the bachelor thesis I followed the theoretical foundations that are mentioned in the theoretical part. Then I analyze the marketing mix, marketing environment and management of construction company Duostav KB Ltd. Based on the outputs of the analysis of the current situation, proposals are made to improve the marketing mix.

Proposal of Process Order Management

This bachelor's thesis deals with the solution and analysis of the order process in the company Teknia Uhersky Brod, a.s., which deals with the production of plastic parts by injection molding. The first part of the thesis introduces the company, then describes the theoretical basis of the work on the issue. In the practical part, an analysis of the order and the business environment (internal and external) is performed. For the identified weaknesses are further designed solutions, which should lead to the elimination of these shortcomings. The conclusion describes the conditions of implementation and benefits of proposed solutions.

This Bachelor thesis deals with the issues of a Hotel Internal Information System and the choice for the selected accommodation, which has led into efficiency in the company's processes and an increase the number of customers in selected hotel. In the theoretical part of this thesis, the methodology, general information and hotel systems, differences between the hotel's systems, choice criteria are explained. In a second, practical part, there is a detailed analysis performed of the company and its structure, target groups and the individually defined criteria of the selected accommodation.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to develop a business plan to establish a photographic store in Brno. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The theoretical part explains basic terminology related to strategic management and strategic analysis. A quantitative research, analysis of internal and external environment and a stakeholder analysis, which revealed strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for the business, is broken down in an analytical part of the thesis. Then financial analysis follows. Specific strategies, which are based on these factors, are designed in order to successfully start the business. The last part discusses designated solutions.
