Laboratory power source
Havlíček, Lukáš ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
he goal of this semestral work is to design a switch-mode power supply with the following requirements. The input voltage is determined as constant 230 V AC, whereas output voltage should be infinitely adjustable in range of 0 V – 30 V DC. The maximum output current loading is 3 A. The output voltage and output current are controlled by means of a microprocessor.
New laboratory practices with bus control system Foxtrot
Matouš, Milan ; Kubec, Jindřich (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The bachelors thesis deals with laboratory exercises based on wiring system created by Foxtrot Company Teco. In the first part, the work briefly introduces the reader with issues of dealing with intelligent systems for houses, properties, topology and last but not least history of such systems. The following chapter involves a characteristic information regarding the abovementioned Foxtrot system – namely composition, function and communication. In order to ensure that the laboratory exercises are feasible a construction of laboratory boards was carried out and. The next sections of the thesis involve process of construction of such laboratory boards, description of all used components and the entire budget. The laboratory exercises are created in the Mosaic software. How to initially set up the software and certain basic information regarding its properties is contained within another chapter. The uppermost parts of the thesis are two laboratory tasks. The first one solves a programming of blinds, heating, cooling and switching of wireless buttons RFox. The other laboratory task aims to create circuits for switching and dimming channels of RGB LED strips which are controlled via the website.
Bus wiring systems for complex building management
Mokrý, Lukáš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to examine current opportunities of bus wiring systems for complex building management, mainly its power and economic evaluation. It can be simply called intelligent electrical installation. I will examine two systems from INELS and ABB company. These systems contain functional components, mainly modules and controllers. By means of other materials, I’ll create a panel. Components will be placed there and electrically connected. After this, systems will be put into operation and programmed by means of their software. The next step is measuring of quatities during the various conditions of systems and consumption, which is one of the main aims of the thesis. Two apparatuses will be used for measuring. This thesis itself will contain theoretical analysis of systems, their description, using the way of operation and main advantages and disadvantages. Single components and complete process of measuring and working in laboratory will be described. An overall evaluation and comparison of the systems from various points of view, including the price, will be put together from results.
Transient effect at the output of a continuous-time LTI second order system controlled pulse-width modulation
Petera, Martin ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Jura, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to determine the size of overshoot produced at the output of a linear continuous second order system controlled by pulse width modulation depending on the period and duty cycle of the modulation and system parameters. This thesis contains analytic calculation of the size of overshoot produced at the output of the second order system with damping ratio > 0, except the damping ratio equals to 1 (i.e. both underdamped and damped system) depending on period and duty cycle of the modulation. This thesis also includes a comparison of partial analytic results to numerical simulation in Matlab program and also with measurement at second order system model.
S-BUS I/O modul as a periphery for PLC Saia
Vaško, Jiří ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor’s thesis is a design of I/O module with digital inputs and digital relay outputs. This module is supposed to communicate with SAIA PCD controllers via SAIA S-Bus protocol. The primary purpose of the module is using as a component of intelligent building control system. The former part of the thesis contains S-Bus characteristics. The next passages are focused on a schematic design and a description of the implemented code in the microcontroller.
Power control of combustion engines
Slavík, Tomáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The main subject of this dissertation is a comparison between different methods of controlling the output in compression and spark ignition engines in light of economic- ecological parameters, effects on engine functioning as well as vibrations. Main types of power control, their principle, advantages and disadvantages are presented in the text. There are several comparative simulations described and presented at the end of this work that were created by using a multi-body system. Calculation of parameters and simulations were selected to approximate resulting values to real values as much as possible.
Budisov-Biomass heating plant
Petrovský, Jiří ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
This dissertation contains a comparison of the real possibilities for heating reconstruction and TUV reheating in three public buildings (located nearby one another) in Budišov township, with resulting recommendations of the best options for local operating conditions. The dissertation contains calculations of heating requirements for particular buildings, a generic theoretical part which summarizes basic data concerning long-term fuels (biomass and natural gas), proposals for technical solutions to heating sourcing concerning these fuels and its prospective distribution from a central boiler house, and its reciprocal comparison from the perspective of the economics of actual realization and operation, and from a perspective of fuel availability and ecology.
Remote control of targets
Tkáč, Stanislav ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Jakubová, Ivana (advisor)
The task of this work is to make a functional device, that is intended to close only one of several (38 to 55) of electromagnetic valves. Which valve is going to be switched is elected either of the push-button keypad, or from a PC via RS 232. Equipment must be made using one or more PIC processors.
Module of Digital Outputs with Modbus Communication
Vaško, Pavel ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Goal of mine bachelor’s thesis is create functional module of digital outputs, which can be seen in typical industry using. This module must contain communication interface on protocol Modbus and standard communication bus RS-232, RS-485. The module must be equipped with microcontroller series x51. Size of equipment must be minimalized into the smallest proportion. One part of the thesis is focused on theoretic information about Modbus protocol. Next parts contain charakteristics of communication and software facility.
Suggestion for the Improvement of the Company´s Culture
Jelínek, Tomáš ; Krejčíř, Petr (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma work is worked on the subject of improvement upon the firm culture. The theoretical pieces of knowledge realize detailed investigation of firm culture problems. The diploma work includes collection of single theoretical informations and empirical experience with their resulting exploitation in the practical part. The proposal part should be an economie contribution to the firm TATSUNO-BENČ EUROPE a.s. after its application in the practice.
