Corporate Culture and its Changes

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze corporate culture in a selected organization with a proposal for a change in corporate culture leading to the desired state of cultural dimensions of the knowledge economy. This thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The first part consists of a literary research, which was developed on the basis of the literature related to this issue, including corporate culture and related concepts. In the second part, an analysis of the given issue was carried out. Required information was obtained using the VSM 94 & 2013 questionnaire by Geert Hofstede and the TBSD test. For better quality research, unstructured interviews with the staff took place, as well as an observation, which contributed to the understanding of the organization's entire structure. In the end, changes were proposed in order to improve the situation in the organization and shift it further toward the desired knowledge economy.

Aristocratic Residence in Modern Times: Changes of Historical Park in Krásný Dvůr

The thesis is focused on the development of historical park in Krásný Dvůr. History of the park is researched on the basis of accessible sources and presented in five chapters, including the period of time between the years 1783 and 1986. The reasons for both establishment and reconstructions of the park are illustrated with essays that had been written by famous visitors of the park, with official owners' records and with correspondence about the park in Krásný Dvůr. A special attention is focused on reconstructions that were done in this period. The changes of built-up area and field adjustments documented and compared with present situation. The aim of the thesis is to draw a rich historical line of the park that will help to popularise the site in Krásný Dvůr. Keywords Aristocratic residence, modern times, Krásný Dvůr, park, changes.

The Transformation of Partnership - Intergeneration Comparison

This diploma thesis is focused on the changes of intimacy between two generations of men and women that were born between 1960 - 1965 and 1985 - 1990. The work pays attention to the second demographic transition and distinct changes in society after the year 1989, and its influence on partnership in the Czech Republic. The main focus is on the transformation of timing of particular life transitions that are postponed to the higher age, changes of life course, kinds of partnership, circumstance of beginning in the new partnership, influence of new technologies and the development of health care (in term of reproduction) to the private life. This work is also about life plans, values and priorities and its influence on partner-biography of individuals. This thesis uses qualitative methodology based on biographic interviews with 16 men and women from aforesaid generations.

General Meeting of Limited Liability Company after recodification (operation, calling, quorum, appearance and procedure)

By January the first is applicable legal regulation that will bring very important changes into private branch of legal order. It is especially the "New Civil Code" and the "Commercial Corporation Act". This "new regulation" will affect even the General Meeting of Limited Liability Company. Because I think it is important to identify the changes that the new regulation brings into regulation of General Meeting of Limited Liability Company and because General Meeting of Limited Liability Company is of interest to me I decided to work out a thesis on this matter called "General Meeting of Limited Liability Company after recodification". Because this matter is quite enormous I do not focus on whole General Meeting of Limited Liability Company but only on selected parts concerning its operation, calling, quorum, appearance and procedure. In my thesis I do not focus only on changes connected with the new regulation but also on unclear or problematical parts of existing regulation (regulation applicable until December the thirty-first) from the perspective whether and if how the new regulation has dealt with them. Changes of regional pattern of European Union in maps

One of purposes of this bachelor thesis is to create vizualization of statistical data that can be obtained from Eurostat. Author focuses on modern trends in geoinformatics and uploads all the graphs and maps, that were created during the work on this thesis, on the web page "regionalni.evropa.sweb.cz". The web page is accessible for the broad public so that everyone could interactively study the outcomes of this thesis. Second part of the thesis is focused on development of regional disparities within analyzed states. Author analyses economical and demographical data for which is being counted variance and standard deviation. Changes of rainfall-runoff regime in the Šumava /Bohemian Forest region

CHANGES OF RAINFALL-RUNOFF REGIME IN THE ŠUMAVA / BOHEMIAN FOREST REGION Abstract: The goal of this thesis is the evaluation of changes in rainfall-runoff regime in the Šumava region from time and spacial point of view. The thesis includes research and applied part. The research part is dedicated to the methods of evaluation of runoff changes and their possible causes in the Šumava region. In the applied part there is an analysis of precipitaion - runoff regime for long-term time series of average annual and monthly discharges and also annual and monthly precipitations for selected gauging stations in Czech, German and Austrian part of Šumava using absolute and relative homogenity tests and Mann - Kendall test for long-term trend. One of the main aims of this thesis is the identification of possible orographical effect or the difference between windward and leeward part of Šumava. In conclusion the achieved results are evaluated, discussed and compared with subject publications. Inner Peripheries of contemporary Prague in the archives documents - trends and sonds

This diploma thesis, entitled Inner Peripheries of contemporary Prague in the archives documents - trends and sonds, deals with changes originally separated urban areas located outside Prague, which went through significant transformations during last 150 years. For this thesis three studies were selected: city districts Karlín, Libeň and Vysočany. All three peripheries were originally separated areas of rural type which were located near centre of Prague. With the arrival of industry in the middle of 19th Century they turned into heavily industrial areas, in the beginning of 20th Century merged with the capital city, thus creating Great Prague. Many changes took place also with river Vltava regulations. During last 25 years the capital city is being modernized. This modernization is connected with additional changes in peripheries: old and unused factories are demolished and new buildings are built on their places or they are converted for other purposes. Because of this there are another impacts on the surrounding landscape. This issue also concerns industrial herritage: its main purpose is preservation and protection of former industrial buildings. The main goal of this thesis is description of these changes and their impact on the landscape with using maps, pictorial and written sources.

Regionalization of agriculture in Czechia since 1871 (from Karel Kořistka) to present and survey of sowing development of major agricultural crop groups according to regionalization

This Bachelor thesis deals with two major issues. Firstly, it provides a comprehensive survey of agriculture regionalization changes in Czechia between 1871-1996. The regions demarcation, so-called Natural agricultural landscapes (NAL), of Bohemia's territory was developed by K. Kořistka. Furthermore, development of Agricultural production regions (APR) is outlined. Secondly, it describes the changes of sowing structure on arable land in 6 groups by selected regionalization. Grouping of three selected years (1885, 1900 and 1930) was accomplished according to NAL to form uniform boundaries of NAL in 1900. Method of proportional representation was used with APR, which resulted in modification of the modern sowing recording (in regional delimitation) to the APR boarder from 1923 and 1969. Thus is how sowing series were made in 1930, 1991, 2010 and 1969, 1990, 2010. The main outcomes confirm that the cereal character of Czechia agriculture had its origins in Austria- Hungary in the 19th century in all landscapes to the present. This fortifies current unprofitable character of APR. The highest appearance of sugar beet growing was recorded in NAL in 1900.
