This thesis concerns Internet social network and trends in evolution of Semantic Web. It describes development of a web application - community portal, built on PHP. Application contains modules providing machine readable presentation of organizations profiles and events and is connected to Google Maps web mapping service.
Evaluation of Trust or Reputation Based on Social Network Analysis

This thesis' goal is to apply the terms trust and reputation from the point of view of artificial intelligence to social network analysis methods. It evaluates current available interactions for a model of trust considering various social networks. A mathematical model of trust for Facebook is designed and described in further parts. This model had been implemented in Python programming language. Experiments regarding this thesis are conducted on a sample amount of Facebook users and furthermore analyzed from the perspective of both artificial intelligence and social psychology.

Advanced Evaluation of Privacy Level in Social Networks

Nowadays persists a trend of moving interpersonal communication into the online environment. By the reason of the social networks and social network's services. Many users doesn't perceive threats connected with presence in internet environment. This thesis is focused on the analysis of the user's account privacy settings followed by the evaluation of these settings. The goal is to develop and create a tool providing ability to evaluate privacy settings of the user's account, eventually recommend more suitable settings given to user privacy. To achieve these goals is necessary to use a suitable model performing privacy evaluation. The output of the thesis will consist of a proposal and implementation of tool performing analysis, evaluation and recommendation of how to improve the social network's privacy settings. Which should help users reduce the amount of privacy information leakage.
Social Networking for Questionnaire Survays

The aim of this work is to design and implement an application using an experimental library CloudKit. This application will serve as a social network for community submitters and questionnaire surveys respondents. Implemented social network is tested on a group of users who are involved in running the network. The benefit of this work is to test the Library CloudKit and its relevance for social networks.
Instagram as a tool to motivation? Production of own content of chosen czech influencers

The aim of this diploma thesis was using semi-structured interviews to find out how every individual influencer approach the creation of their content on Instagram. In total, 5 creators took part in the interviews and answered 15 questions. The topic of the questions was, among other things, the way in which they choose contributions so that they are motivating, how the deal with criticism and how they perceive their actions on this social network. The result of the analysis was the finding that i tis very important for the work to remain authentic and, above all, to fulfil the creator. An essential aspect is also the realization that self-reflection and acceptance of criticism is needed. The interviews further confirmed that perfection on Instagram has no longer any substantial role like it did in previous years.
How social networks affect celiacs'diets

This paper examines the influence of social networks on the diet of celiacs. The aim was to investigate how social networks, specifically Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and Pinterest, can influence the preparation, purchase and consumption of gluten-free products. The chosen research method was quantitative analysis. Results were obtained from Czech and a few Slovak celiacs and people with gluten allergy with help of a questionnaire survey followed by descriptive analysis. The questionnaire itself was disseminated on the social networks Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. The final sample included 264 from the original 279 respondents. The results show that the use of social networking sites is popular among patients with celiac disease and gluten-free diets and that users benefit from it. It was also revealed that the most useful social networks are Instagram amd Facebook. On the other hand, YouTube, Twitter and Pinterest fell completely in the evaluaion. The main reason for this is the small amount of beneficial information. When it comes to eating, celiacs are mainly looking for new recipes, products and places that offer gluten-free meals, according to the results. In addition to extend dietary horizons, social networks have also provent to contain important information about the disease...

This thesis deals with internet addiction and how it is reflected by selected health policies. The first part offers an analysis of the addiction itself. Attention is paid to its subtypes - online game addiction, pornography addiction and social networks addiction. The typology of addicts, causes, methods of measuring, diagnostics and as well as the impact of human life. The second part offers an insight into how four selcted countries (or international institutions) respond to the treat of internet addiction. It follows an approach in two asian countries (China, South Korea) where considerable attention is paid to the issue, including some controversial methods such as re-educational camps or legal restriction on the playing time. And situation in the West where such steps have not yet been taken.
Instagram use and bodily self-concept of adolescent girls

This bachelor thesis focuses on the relationship between the use of Instagram and the physical self-concept of adolescent girls. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. In the first chapter adolescence and its developmental aspects are briefly summarized, the second chapter deals with self-concept and its development in adolescence, followed by a subchapter concerning physical self-concept. At the end of the theoretical work, social networks, Instagram and their influence on physical self-concept are introduced. In the practical part, the bachelor's thesis aims to find the relationship between the use of Instagram and the physical self-concept of adolescent girls. The research group consists of 252 respondents aged 15-20 years who own an Instagram account. The sample was collected via social networks using the improbable selection method. The relationship of the respondents to their own body was measured using the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire, which measures attitudes towards their own body, and the Basic Olomouc Body Rating, which measures satisfaction with their own appearance using a pictorial scale of characters. The level of use of Instagram was detected using a questionnaire created for the purposes of the bachelor's thesis. A statistically significant difference was demonstrated in the hypothesis concerning girls who follow fitness accounts and girls who do not follow them. Girls who do not follow fitness accounts showed higher dissatisfaction with their body, which was measured by the BOBR questionnaire, than girls who do follow these accounts.
Journalists on Twitter: do they follow traditional norms or new standards?

The thesis aims to examine the way the Czech journalists use the social network Twitter. The thesis concentreates on the difference between the traditional norms under which journalists behave, the roles they play, and how they use Twitter. Firstly, the tweets where divided into the categories based on what kind of tweet it was. The thesis analysed the tweets one by one in the quantitative part, it concentrated on its content, used language and other special characters which could be photos, videos, emojis and other. The thesis showed that the journalists on Twitter behave differently than professional norms sets and that their roles differ. They become gatewatchers instead of gatekeepers and the journalists tend to comment on the topics. They also become the promoters of their work.
