Title: Stimulation of strength skills through intervation gymnastic program for people with spinal cord impairment Objectives: The target of the work is to determine the degree of effectiveness of the newly created gymnastic program mediated to probands online, to the level of strength of the upper body and upper limbs of people with spinal cord injury. Methods: The research will be conducted in the form of a quasi-experiment with pre- testing and post-testing measuring. Used data collection methods included field testing, timed 100m dash in a wheelchair and 2kg weight throw and a questionaire. Analysis of found data has been done via descriptive statistics. Results: Results of post-testing showed that upon completion of a six-week interventional program, individuals with spinal cord impairment increased their strength levels in field tests. In the first field test, there was a slight percentage improvement of 5.9%. In the second field test, there was an overall mean percentage improvement of 10.9%. On average, probands improved by 8.4%, a slight to moderate improvement. The questionaires also showed that the trainees enjoyed the provided program. Kekrtová, Magdaléna ; Vilikus, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Větrovská, Renata (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of eating disorders (ED) in gymnastics. Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses that occur especially in adolescent women. Gymnastics, as a sport with an emphasis on aesthetics, is risky in terms of ED, it affects the occurrence of a large number of risk factors that affect gymnasts. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis generally summarizes the individual diagnoses of eating disorders, risk factors, incidence and prevalence, health complications, treatment and disease prevention. These general findings are supplemented by the current state of knowledge of eating disorders from the gymnastic enviroment. The second half of the theoretical part introduces the principles of energy metabolism and healthy nutrition. The practical part consists of quantitative research, carried out using a questionnaire, which was imaginarilly divided into two parts. The first half of the research examines gymnasts' attitudes to nutrition and diet, and the second half examines ED in gymnastics. Due to the absence of males, the research results can only be applied to women. Research confirms the frequent occureence of risky behavior among gymnasts, the popularity of reduction diets, low body weight or high ambient pressure, which is mainly caused by coaches. Research...

Title: Aerobics intervention motoric program for individuals with Down syndrome. Objectives: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to create and verify an aerobics intervention program based on an analysis of theoretical background and an interview with specialists in the sphere of sports and education of people with DS. Methods: The work is focused on the creation and implementation of an aerobics intervention program for people with Down syndrome (DS) based on an analysis of theoretical background and an interview with specialists. The planned methods of data collection that were used are a semi-structured interview, analysis of theoretical background, induction, description of knowledge and own creative work during creating the program. Results: The research shows that people with Down syndrome enjoy sports. Despite the advances brought by modern times, the offer of physical activities for people with Down syndrome seems to be poor. Due to the health complications that Down syndrome brings with it, aerobic activities for individuals with the mentioned diagnosis seem to be suitable and developmental for their physical and mental side. Opočenská, Kristýna ; Chrudimský, Jan (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Good dietary habits and healthy diet, as part of sports training of gymnasts, have often been neglected. The thesis summarises the available information and recommendations on an optimal diet for young gymnasts. The aim of the thesis is to compare the approaches of coaches and parents of gymnasts from three Prague gymnastics clubs to dietary habits of younger school-age gymnasts. Non-standardized questionnaires were used in the thesis and the results of the survey conducted among a group of coaches and a group of parents of younger school- age gymnasts were compared using the comparative method. The output of the thesis is a comparison of the approaches of coaches and parents to dietary habits of gymnasts. It was concluded that parents have a more consistent approach to dietary habits, monitoring changes in their children's weight and body height more frequently. Proper water intake is observed by coaches more thoroughly. Keywords: gymnastics, dietary habits, coach, parents.

Halounková, Markéta ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Doležalová, Kateřina (referee)
Title: Comparing the results of fitness tests of young gymnasts with the values recommended by FIG Objectives: The objective of this work is to compare the results of selected motoric tests from the official material of FIG with the same tests measured with young gymnasts in a sports facility called Jojo Gym in Dobřichovice. Methods: The thesis is of comparative character - the results of motoric tests presented in the official materials of FIG are compared with the measured values of young gymnasts at a structured performance level. The major method used to obtain the data from motoric tests is measurement. Selected gymnastics tests are targeted mainly at the diagnosis of speed-strength skills and flexibility. It is a one-time measurement. Results: Except for one test, the gymnasts did not reach the values given in the official materials of FIG. The formulated academic question was confirmed mainly by the fitness tests 1 to 4, when the groups with lower practice intensity reached significantly worse results in comparison with the group with higher practice intensity. Keywords: gymnastics, talented youth, FIG, motoric skills

Šebková, Anna ; Ruda, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pecinová, Markéta (referee)
Title: The Competency Profile of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to create the competency profile of the rhythmic gymnastics coach from the perspective of current and former rhythmic gymnasts, based on the identification of important competencies that Czech rhythmic gymnastics coaches lack. Methods: The thesis uses qualitative and quantitative methods. According to the expert literature studies, researches and interviews with the qualified rhythmic gymnastics coaches was created a list of four competency groups that should be needed for quality work of rhythmic gymnastics coach. After that current and former rhythmic gymnasts of the senior age category evaluated the importance of individual competencies and assessed the existence of these competencies in their rhythmic gymnastics coaches by electronic questioning. Results: Two theoretical competency profiles of the rhythmic gymnastics coach are created in the thesis, including competencies from all competency groups: personal characteristics, abilities and skills, education and knowledge, other specific competencies. The first profile includes 23 competencies that Czech coaches lack but the competencies are considered as important ones by the most rhythmic gymnasts. The second profile focuses on ideal...

Krenarová, Kateřina ; Heller, Jan (advisor) ; Novotná, Viléma (referee)
Title: Influence of sports load on the physical condition of trampoline gymnasts Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to assess the relationship between the sport load and functional and physical parameters of trampoline gymnasts. Methods: The thesis has the character of empirical research carried out in the form of observation. The research group consisted of 29 active trampoline gymnasts aged 9 to 17 (20 girls and 9 boys) participating in trampoline jumping competitions at national or international level. The body composition was analysed by Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA, Tanita MC - 980), functional parameters were tested via Bosco Vertical Jump test (BT) and kinesiological analysis of the athlete. Anamnestic data were collected as a part of kinesiological examination of the gymnasts. Results: Parameters of trampoline gymnasts were compared from the age point of view - probands were divided into age categories ZAC (10.7 ± 1.1 years) and JUN (14.9 ± 1.2 years) and from the gender point of view - parameters of girls and boys. The values of somatic parameters in JUN were higher than in ZAC; girls had a significantly higher proportion of body fat (d = 2.307) and a significantly lower proportion of Total Body Water (d = 2.222) than boys. JUN did significantly more work during BT (d = 2.059),...
