Title: The level of first-aid procedures knowledge amongst floorball trainers Objectives: The primary aim of this research was to identify to what extent trainers of the Czech highest female floorball league are familiar with the first-aid procedures. Methods: In this research, the sampling method was carried out in the form of an anonymous questionnaire, which was constructed from two parts. The first part of the questionnaire assessed general knowledge (7 questions). The second part tested the participants through a random scenario (15 questions). The number of respondents counted a total of 17 B-licensed trainers, both male and female. The questionnaire was completed with the assistance of the Czech Floorball Union, and the collected data was presented in graphs. Results: Based on the anonymous questionnaire, the findings showed the above- average experience of trainers providing first-aid, during both floorball practice or competition. Most occurring were the least threatening accidents, e.g., athletes getting the wind knocked out or muscle strains. In contrary, shoulder dislocation, stomach and eye injuries had the lowest occurrence rate. Overall, the participants weren't successful at answering the questions regarding first-aid procedures of internal fracture and getting the wind knocked out....
The incidency of injury among men players in the highest floorball league during years 2014-2019
Honzová, Petra ; Urbářová, Eliška (advisor) ; Novák, Jakub (referee)
The topic of this diploma thesis is the description of injury rate at floorball in the men's highest competition within the years 2014-2019. The work consists of theoretical and practical part. The rules of floorball, the popularity, and unions (federations) of this sport in our country and abroad, the concept of the season and the characteristics of the player's movement, including muscle imbalances are described in the theoretical part. A general division of sports injuries and a description of the most common injuries at floorball is a part of theory, as well as their prevention, registration, and treatment. In addition to contact with another person, glasses, shoes, the surface, the age of the player and, in the case of goalkeepers, knee protectors can influence injuries at this indoor sport. Further the method of educating coaches in the Czech Republic and the content of a seminar on compensation, which is presented to coaches at trainings, is also described there. The practical part is focused on the collection of injury rate data from paper and electronic records from matches in the seasons from 2014/2015 to 2018/2019. These results are compared with respect to the presence of a physiotherapist, the player's age, the surface in the halls, the phase of the season and the occurrence of an...
The impact of a training on a children floorball player's level of motor skills
Čermáková, Eliška ; Urbářová, Eliška (advisor) ; Levínská, Kateřina (referee)
The popularity of floorball has been growing significantly. Floorball, as any other sport, is associated with certain health risks. Not only acute injuries but also chronic injuries have been connected with practicing sports. There is high risk of development of muscle imbalance, cumulative trauma disorders and chronic overuse, that negatively influence motor development of child. The aim of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the influence of corrective exercise on motor functions of young floorball players. Methodology: Two top Czech floorball teams of young boys has participated in the research. The observed group was composed of 79 players (Group A - 40 players, Group B - 39 players) aged 11 and 12 (the average age of 12,1 ± 0,6 SD). Short version of motor funciton test BOT-2 has been used to examine participants. Additional anamnestic data were used to run detailed analysis of factors influencing the test results. Results: The players of Tatran Střešovice and FbS Bohemians scored average percentiles of 63,45 ± 26,1 SD and 65,5 ± 27,8 SD respectively. That implies no impact of corrective exercise on results of motor funciton test (p = 0,74).However, the corrective exercise has decreased the risk of injury (p = 0,0183). The athletes playing for the team for more than 3 years have significantly...

Kottová, Natálie ; Reckziegelová, Petra (advisor) ; Křížková, Štěpánka (referee)
Title: Case report of patient after tibial osteosynthesis Objective: The aim of this bachelor's theis is to write up a case report of patient after ostehosynthesis of the left tibia during my four-week practical training in Hospital Kladno. The implementation of specific physioterapeutic therapy was based on petting familiar with theoretical background for this diagnosis. Abstract: The osteosynthesis of tibia is an invasiv and surgical solution of posttraumatical fracture of the tibia and this status requires rehabilitative care. After work with the patient and based on my theoretical knowledge of this subjekt, I found out that the biggest issue was gate limitation and therefore the therapy was focused on improving this issue. As this is a case study, it is not possible to make any conclusion from suggested therapy and the process as well as the results cannot be generalized. Nevertheless this thesis includes information based on in the theoretical, as well as in the practical part. The theoretical part in the first portion of this thesis analyzes basic aspects of the theoretical knowledge of this diagnosis as anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics including characterization and classification of fractures and their solutions. The specialised practial part writes up case report of one patient after...

Malá, Mariana ; Vorálek, Rostislav (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Monitoring the number of injuries in volleyball specializations and their prevention Objectives: The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to monitor, which player specialization is most burdened by the number of injuries and what prevention they use. . Methods: To obtain the necessary data, the method of expert finding in the form of a questionnaire was used. Hypotheses were established, the obtained data were processed into graphs and the results were determined. Then the results were compared with hypotheses and with foreign and Czech literature. . Results: I have found that the most affected position by injuries is middle blocker. The highest incidence of acute injuries is in the area of fingers and ankles. Players most often have chronic problems with their knees and shoulders. In terms of prevention, I found that volleyball players most often use regeneration in the form of other sports activities and that the length of their initial warm-up does not correspond to the theoretical basis. Keywords: volleyball, prevention, injury, regeneration, load, warm-up

Results: The condition of the patient after his rehabilitation programme showed no significant improvement. Reduced range of movement in his knee, which was the main problem improved, but insufficiently. Conclusion: The excercise routine was the key factor in the rehabilitation of the patient. The condition of the patient didn't get significantly better and it is possible that his...
Creating and verifying specialized strength exercises program for knee ligaments revitalize in women floorball players
POLÍVKOVÁ, Jitka
The aim of this paper was to create and verify specialized strength exercises program for knee ligaments revitalize in women floorball players. Three woman players who had knee ligaments problems were tested in casuistic study. Segmental analysis, measuring of lower limb power were performed and lower limb circumference measurements were done. Subsequently the four-month exercise program was started and at the end of this program all tests were repeated and tests results were compared. As far as proband no. 1 is concerned the body fat percentage and muscle mass of measured body segments were decreased, power of her injured lower limb was not rised and differences between her lower limbs circumferences were not decreased. As for proband no. 2 the body fat percentage was also decreased, muscle mass and power of the injured limb were increased, but differences between limbs circumferences were not decreased. For proband no. 3 we performed only output segmental analysis and Wingate test, so we could compare only lower limbs circumferences which were not decreased. The results of this study were affected by low attendance of proband no. 1 and strength exercises program could be verified in the future with larger group of players with knee ligaments problems.

Physiotherapeutic Techniques for Patients with Achilles Tendon Rupture with Possibility of Using Balance Aids
JIRÁSKOVÁ, Helena
This bachelor thesis deals with physiotherapeutic techniques in Achilles tendon rupture patients with possibility of using balance aids. My personal interest in these problems lead me to select this topic. There is increasing offer of leisure activity connected with increasing injuries of locomotive organs. Rupture of Achilles tendon is one of them and concerns both top sportsmen and those doing sports in leisure time. The preceding degenerative alteration is a frequent cause of the rupture. My thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is a knowledge summary from different disciplines related to this topic. The rupture of Achilles tendon is described in a proper chapter from various aspects etiopathogenesis, mechanism of origin, symptoms, diagnostics and treatment. In the part called therapeutic rehabilitation I described physiotherapeutic methods and concepts I used in therapy. There are two case interpretations of Achilles tendon rupture in the practical part. Investigation was performed using a qualitative form of the initial and final examinations. Based on the initial examination of patients both short-term and longterm rehabilitation plans were prepared with selected physiotherapeutic methods. The goal of my thesis was to evaluate the influence of injury on the locomotive organ and gait patttern. Based on results (comparison of initial a final examinations) the long-term rehabilitation plan was suggested with a participation of balance aids. Physiotherapy shows to be a very contributive by means of the used methods as the tested parameters improved. Soresness in heel and scarf decreased, movement in talar joint to dorsal and plantar flexions improved as well as the muscle strength of m. triceps surae. The values of anthropometry changed. The therapy had a smaller effect on the gait pattern. This thesis can serve to education of students and physiotherapy assistants, but also to patients and public.
