Cross-border cooperation as one of the factors of development

The beginning of the work describes problems of the border regions in general. It outlines the opportunities for development of these areas and mentions possibilities that are offered by European Union within the framework of economic and social cohesion. It also briefly mentions the Financial Mechanism of EEA and Norway. Although, the list is not exhaustive, it gives a picture of what options the regions have. Another part of the work is solely dedicated to cross-border cooperation in the Czech-Saxon border area in light of European subsidies. It compares the previous and the current period in terms of objectives, implementation structures and last year also in terms of drawdown. It refers to what potential the Czech-Saxon border area has and -- based on questionnaire survey - tries to determine how the representatives of municipalities in Czech-Saxon border area perceive the cooperation and where they see the major problems.

Barnaby's songs in the French lessons

Tato práce se zaměřuje na využití písně v hodinách cizího jazyka a konkrétně si klade za cíl dokázat vhodnost využití písní francouzského zpěváka Bénabara v hodinách francouzského jazyka. Za účelem splnění daného cíle jsme postupovali následovně, od teorie k praxi. Nejprve jsme za pomocí rozličných argumentů dokázali, proč má píseň v hodinách cizího jazyka své nezpochybnitelné místo. Naše argumenty jsme podpořili myšlenkami didaktických teorií druhé poloviny 20. století. Zvláštní pozornost jsme věnovali teoriím tzv. komunikačního přístupu a multikulturní pedagogiky, které vyzdvihují přednosti využití autentických materiálů v hodinách cizího jazyka, tedy i písně. Poté jsme se již konkrétně zaměřili na Bénabarovy písně. Na několika stránkách jsme přiblížili život a dílo tohoto mladého francouzského umělce a vyzdvihli charakteristiky jeho písní, které nám dovolují domnívat se, že představují vhodný prostředek výuky. V praktické části jsme navrhli možné způsoby využití vybraných písní Bénabara. Ke každé písni jsme vytvořili metodický list pro učitele doplněný pracovním listem pro žáka. Metodický list informuje o cílech, kterých lze prací s písní dosáhnout, i o podmínkách, které je třeba zajistit pro úspěšnou realizaci. Vybraná předložková skupina jako polyfunkční prostředek vyjádření syntaktických funkcí a sémantických významů (předložka za s akuzativem substantiv)

We selected a prepositional group consisting of the preposition za and of a substantive in an accusative form as an example to deal with the task of distinguishing between different adverbial syntactical functions expressed by a morphologically homonymous form. First, we demonstrated the multifunctionality of the analysed form on some motivation examples and summed up the description of the form in the most substantial syntaxes of Czech language and in other related works. We realised that the typology of relevant adverbials is inconsistent in many points. Secondly, we acquired a data set of 1591 occurrences of the selected form from the Prague Dependency Trcebank and we used 548 of them for our detailed analysis. We compared our observations with the information collected from the related works and we described eleven adverbial types with different meanings presented by the form za + accusative. Providing as accurate definitions as possible, we made an effort to eliminate existing inconsistency in the adverbial typology. We suggested establishing new adverbial types in some cases - adverbial of representation, adverbial of countervalue - or to separate a new subtype - adverbial of compromise. The Issue of Alcohol Dependence in Adolescents

Researches focused on the issues of alcohol addiction performed in the Czech Republic show that the number of alcohol addicts is higher every year and alcoholism has become a serious public health problem. There are more and more addicts every year, which is except others backed by the words that MUDr. Petr Popov, senior consultant of the Addiction Treatment Department of the General Faculty Hospital in Prague, said to the Právo daily on 10 March 2010: ?We used to have about 300 thousand alcohol addicts. Now there are between 600 and 700 thousand. There are twice as many men as women, but women have been gaining on men?. As an article in the Mladá Fronta Dnes of 21 February 2012 says, the number of young alcohol consumers is increasing, while about a fifth of 16 year olds admit drinking five or more glasses at least three times a month. This results from 2011 research quoted in the above article. My thesis dealing with the issues of alcohol addiction in teenagers wants to map the situation among teenagers of České Budějovice region and their knowledge of the impacts of excessive alcohol consumption on their personal and family lives, social lives and relations. The theoretical part deals with the problems of the process and occurrence of alcohol addiction in general and with the social and health consequences of excessive alcohol consumption, with the factors influencing teenagers to consumption of alcohol and other drugs and prevention in the field of addiction focused on teenagers. In the research part I particularly focus on socioeconomic background of young respondents, personal experience with alcohol and marginally on the other addictive substances. I also focus on mapping the knowledge of the consequences of alcohol consumption, influence of environment and of free time activities. I applied quantitative research, in the form of a questionnaire. My research shows that most of teenagers are aware of the consequences of alcohol consumption or abuse, but they do not limit alcohol consumption in their lives and they actually increase its consumption as they are growing older. More systematic application of training seminars focused on more consistent care about personal and social development and better orientation of free time activities can definitely contribute to prevention of alcohol abuse, of addiction development among teenagers, to further improvement of their knowledge and skills used for alcohol consumption reduction and consequent addiction. Better legislation measures in the field of punishing young users of alcohol and drugs would undoubtedly contribute as well.

Nursing care about patient with external fixator

The name of this bachelor thesis is: Nursing care of patients with the external fixator. The external fixator is a metal construction above the surface of the skin that connects implants introduced into a bone. The purpose of external fixation is mainly the stabilisation of fractures. The thesis has two main parts: the theoretical and the practical parts. The theoretical part contains basic information on the anatomy of bones, fractures and the therapy of fractures. Further, it deals with the history of external fixation, nursing and rehabilitation care of patients with the external fixator. The practical part includes a research investigation. We set three objectives and posed three research questions within the scope of the investigation. The objective of the thesis was to find out the specifics of nursing care of patients with the external fixator, whether nurses have information about care of patients with the external fixator and how patients perceive the external fixator. We posed the following research questions: What are the specifics of nursing care of patients with the external fixator? Do nurses have information about the care of patients with the external fixator? What problems do patients with the external fixator deal with? The research investigation was conducted in the qualitative method. The research set consisted of the total of 14 respondents - 7 patients and 7 nurses working in the traumatology, orthopaedics and surgery departments. Information was obtained by means of semi-structured interviews and processed into case studies. For reasons of clarity, some data were put into tables. The results formed a basis on which our questions were answered. The specifics of nursing care of patients with the external fixator include the aseptic re-bandaging and additional assistance with care of oneself. Nurses have information about the care of patients with the external fixator, even though that the number of patients with external fixation is in most departments where this research investigation was conducted, rather low. The most serious problems that patients have to deal with are those of comfort. The research investigation forms a framework in which the standard of nursing care of patients with the external fixator was made that surveys the course of the nursing care. I have compiled an information brochure for patients that contains the basic information concerning the therapeutic regime.

The Bachelor Thesis Proposal and evaluation of educational ecological games with elements of inquiry-based learning is focused on educational games with ecological themes and with application of inquiry-based learning. General information about the educational issues is processed through a literature review. Selected topics of biological ecology were summed and then educational games were developed of these topics Participants will gain knowledge of these games on the operation of some general ecological patterns related to trophic cascades, food webs and the principle of Competitive Exclusion. Ischemia-reperfusion injury in lungs after transplantation and the role of radical oxygen species

Keywords: Lung Tx, EVLP, NHBD, IR injury, ROS, hypercapnia, gender differences This dissertation thesis deals with a very topical issue of the lack of donor organs for lung transplants. As with other organs, the number of patients on waiting lists in terminal stages of their diseases is also constantly rising but there is not an adequate increase in donor organs. We focused our experimental work on the development of research concerning the solution which is most successful in a long-term perspective, i.e. organ transplants from non- heart-beating donors (NHBDs), in an ex vivo lung transplant protocol (EVLP) on an animal model (Wistar rats). This is a method which is clinically established worldwide (in the Czech Republic only experimentally) and is constantly subject to further research. Based on earlier studies, we focused the first experimental part of this work on the potential protective effect of hypercapnic ventilation on ischemia-reperfusion (IR) lung injury in EVLP. The study proved that the hypercapnic ventilation has a protective effect on the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in IR lung injury, but only when used in the period of reperfusion. The aim of the thesis is based on statistical methods to predict the evolution of the share price of company Philip Morris CR, Inc. and subsequent determining the period of investment return, which was made during the reporting period for companies trading on the Prague Stock Exchange.
The author first defines the position of the capital market, defines used tools within the market and divides the capital market into type of securities business and into the type of the opportunities to participate in the market and into the type of organized character. For the analyze shares are identified market participants and are listed investment tools. Finally are formulated types of exchanges, clarified ITS functions and author defines The Public Market in the Czech Republic
In the subsequent part of the thesis is executed fundamental and technical analysis, forecast of the shares of Philip Morris and calculating return of investment using macroeconomic ratios, indicators of sectoral analysis, the dividend discount model, profitable models, trend indicators and oscillators, multiple linear regression and profitability investments.
