IP Address Activity Monitoring

OpenStreetMap contributor activity in the Czech Republic
Vaidiš, Martin ; Moudrý, Vítězslav (advisor) ; Komárek, Jan (referee)
Today on the internet, the amount of User generated content (UGC) is increasing as fast as never before. One of its very well usable representatives are Volunteered geographic informations (VGI), which were recently gathering a lot of interest. This applies especially on the most succesfull project based on collaborative mapping - OpenStreetMaps (OSM). Beside the brief introduction of VGI and its possibilities of use, the literature research part of this work takes a closer look at OSM, its structure and its comunity of more than two and a half millions members. The paper also presents ways to get information about the activity of contributors, which is then applied it the analytical part of the work. That is mainly focused on active users in the Czech Republic and its neighbours - Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Austria. By examining data of one year, it was found, among other facts, that the number of contributors in Czech Republic is increasing much more slowly than in the community as a whole. Also, the ratio of the most active members in Czech Republic is significantly lower than usual. The results also showed, that the number of edits made to the OSM database by an average Czech contributor is significantly greater than by others, which were inclueded in this reaserch. At the same time, the importance and potential causes of these anomalies are discussed, and finally, it is proposed how the results may be used for future research.

Standards of professional competence of providers HR and preventive services in nightlife environment
Saberžanovová, Petra Chawa ; Šťastná, Lenka (advisor) ; Janíková, Barbara (referee)
The nightlife environment is a place where young people frequently come into contact with the drug, compared with the general population there is significantly higher prevalence of current use and experiment with illegal drugs in particular. This environment is poorly covered by preventive and harm reduction services for recreational drug users, in addition they cannot be financed under the standard grant procedure because there are no standards to allow their certification. The aim of the thesis is to create standards of professional competence of service providers in the nightlife environment. The technique used is a theoretical analysis of the available resources, and expert assessment of the draft proposed standards. As a source for analysis were used scientific publications, existing guidelines and critical assessment of experience from the implementation of services within the project Safer Party. The output of work is standards proposal. Further, the particular issue of position of these programs in system of drug services and testing of synthetic drugs are discussed.

MongoDB as a Datastore for Google App Engine SDK
Heller, Stanislav ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Volf, Tomáš (advisor)
In this thesis, there are discussed use-cases of NoSQL database MongoDB implemented as a datastore for user data, which is stored by Datastore stubs in Google App Engine SDK. Existing stubs are not very well optimized for higher load; they significantly slow down application development and testing if there is a need to store larger data sets in these storages. The analysis is focused on features of MongoDB, Google App Engine NoSQL Datastore and interfaces for data manipulation in SDK - Datastore Service Stub API. As a result, there was designed and implemented new datastore stub, which is supposed to solve problems of existing stubs. New stub uses MongoDB as a database layer for storing testing data and it is fully integrated into Google App Engine SDK.

The analysis of CzechTrade agency on important foreign markets
Hendrychová, Darina ; Plchová, Božena (advisor) ; Hanzlíková, Helena (referee)
The theme of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of one of the pro-export policy of the Czech Republic,CzechTrade agency on potentially very attractive markets for Czech exporters. For this propose will be used BRIC countries. CzechTrade is a very important part of indirect export promotion assistance of the state and therefore I believe that a detailed analysis of its activities and results of operations could contribute to an even greater response from users of the services offered and even more widespread among the business community. Furthermore, I believe that for his eighteen-year history in the Czech Republic reached this agency really significant advances in the field of export promotion assistance and significantly contributed to the increase of total Czech exports also increase the competitiveness of the Czech Republic as such, hence the implementation of a government-issued Export Strategy 2012 - by 2020.

LABORARTORY BRNO
Pospíšil, Tomáš ; Nový, Vítězslav (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
The object of the proposal is a gallery of modern and new media art together with a community centre, which serves as a platform for creating projects in borderland between science and art. The form of the two separately standing buildings is significantly influenced by their surroundings. The modern barrier of the street Koliště is enhanced by blind concrete facades of the designed buildings. The unity with Cejl indicates reclusion, rawness and sense of community, especially significant is the parterre which is shaped as two atria with different levels of intimacy. The dominant feature of the project is a superelevated golden cube, which conceals the main space of the gallery. It is situated behind the wall of buildings and it looks down at the city centre, which is possible thanks to its height. The remaining space is located in lower level and it is less opulent, as it stands back to the street on one side and completely opens itself into atriums through glassed-in walls on the other side. The goal of the project was to extract and put into shape specific aspects of the place and to create a user-friendly environment.

Question and Answer Classifier for closed domain Interactive Question Answering
Dinh, Le Thanh ; Schlesinger, Pavel (referee) ; Lopatková, Markéta (advisor)
Nowadays natural language processing has made big progress thanks to the application of statistical approaches and to the large amount of data available to train the systems. These progresses are pushed by the several evaluation campaigns. Thanks to them systems are compared and progress measured. These evaluations are mostly based on data sets artificially developed by the organizers of such evaluation campaigns. In our work we show that though useful these data sets are biased and there is the need of developing data generated in a more natural setting by real users. We consider as case studies the classification of questions. In particular we look at the classification of questions types needed in Question Answering systems, and the classification of follow up questions into topic continuation and topic shift needed in Interactive Question Answering. We evaluate classifiers first on TREC data and than on a corpus of real user's data. In both cases the performance of the classifiers drops significantly showing the need of working on more users centered systems. The results also show that the classifiers could be better fine tuned taking into account the new challenges real users data launch to NLP systems. We leave this for future research.
