Hospodářský cyklus a plodnost: Vliv nezaměstnanosti na míru porodnosti
Tománková, Ivana ; Lahvička, Jiří (advisor) ; Bartoň, Petr (referee)
This paper investigates how aggregate fertility responds to business cycle fluctuations and attempts to quantify this effect. The results of a first differences regression analysis on a 2003 to 2010 panel data sample of 31 member states of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development indicate procyclical fertility behavior over the business cycle. Ceteris paribus, a one percentage point increase in the general unemployment rate decreases the crude birth rate by 0.054. Tertiary educational attainment of the labor force, the average wage, the female-to-male wage ratio and the marriage and divorce rates are all positively related to fertility, while the employment rate of women exerts a fertility-depressing effect.

Women of the group UB 12 in the context of contemporary Czech culture
Štroblová, Kateřina ; Hoftichová, Petra (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
The era of the years 1948 - 1968 in Czechoslovakia was full of historical reversions and events. Also sociocultural scene passed in this period through important changes. From the repressions of the fifties through "the golden sixties" to the "normalisation" of the seventies; all in the shadow of communistic totality. Beside the official art under the dictate of socialist realism the antinomie movements occured here; connecting at prewar modem and avantgarde at the beginning. After enforcing the abandoning of the interdict of art groups, the artists began to associate themselves to different groups, based on friendship or collective artistic opinions. One ofthese groups was UB 12, founded in 1959. The artists ofthe group were of different age; beside of friendship the admiration for French culture and art and also the "poetics of everyday life" was the link between some of them. The group broke after the year 1968. Although the group wasn't united in artistic manners and didn't have the collective manifesto (which often led to its evaluation as average or inexpressive ), it assumed important place in the Czech art. Many of its members (like Václav Boštík, Stanislav Kolíbal, Adriena Šimotová) are considered as ones of the most outstanding artistic personalities of the Czech art of the second half of201 h...

Horák, Pavel ; Kuklík, Jan (referee) ; Čechurová, Jana (advisor)
Bohumil Laušman (born August 30th, 1903) was a member of the Social Democratic Party. He was elected member of the National Assembly for the Pardubice region after ten years in regional politics. At the age of thirty-one he became the youngest Member of Parliament. He organised the foundation of the second parliament formation after the Munich events within the system of limited democracy, the National Labour Party. Not only did he show courage, he also showed sense for reality, when he was regulating some left-wing radicals in the weak party. He participated actively in the resistance after the establishment of the protectorate. In his resistance, he promoted collaboration across the political spectrum. That is why the selfconfident Laušman entered the exile with the idea that the left-wing party should have a moral right to determine political direction of exile institutions, which were forming at that time. His obvious left-wing tendency and non-constructive behaviour are possible to be seen after the failure of his political formation of Czechoslovakia's resistance movement in Paris and London. He travelled to the USSR in the middle of the year 1942 to get acquainted with political ideas of the representatives of the Czechoslovak resistance residing there, possibly to get their political support. During...

This data set is stored in a multidimenzional raster format NetCDF, which is in the work presented in detail. This way of storing data for geographical analysis are supported by desktop GIS software - ESRI ArcGIS, and to work with NetCDF data E-Obs in it's module ArcMap is developed a set of separate functions (toolbox). With the use of these instruments was from E-Obs dataset extracted several time series, related to the reference subareas.
