The final thesis is focused on a project of a load bearing structure of a aircraft maintenance hangar that has a rectangular ground plan 60,0x120,0 m and includes suspended mobile hoist of loading capacity 5,0t. The object is situated in the airport area of Ostrava Mošnov. The task provides two versions of design. The first version consists of eleven traverse joining beams witch are distanced twelve meters from each other. The second version consists of thirteen traverse joining beams witch are distanced ten meters from each other. The thesis focuses on the load pressure of the steel construction, the main emphasis being placed on the single structural components and assembling components. The calculation meet the standards of ČSN EN.

Econometric analysis of the economy in game World of Warcraft

This thesis analyses the impact of real exchange rate and the official exchange ratio of fiat currencies and in-game golds on the price level in the game World of Warcraft. The work also includes a brief summary of the mechanisms of the in-game economy. The analysis is based on cointegration test and Granger causality test. Individual estimations are model based on the VAR and VEC models theory. The conclusions of this study are made for specific randomly selected pairs of servers with different populations. These results are not easily generalized for the entire regions, but they offer insight into the possible factors affecting the price level in each virtual economy. The results show that the price level on the American server Aegwynn affects the exchange rates of fiat and game currencies as well as that game currency exchange rate in the European region is sensitive to changes in exchange rates of the euro and the yuan. All calculations in this work were implemented in Eviews 8 software.

Strategic Management

The thesis deals with strategic management of selected company. Its goal is to design a strategy based on outputs of designed analysis. The thesis consist of two parts, theoretical and practical.
The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the theme of the thesis. Specifically, the concepts of strategy and strategic management, hierarchy of management and hierarchy of strategies in the company, strategic thinking, competitive advantage and process of creating a business strategy. The findings from this chapter are used in the practical part.
In the practical part there is characterized the selected company, after that there are made analyses of internal and external environment, and based on their outputs a SWOT analysis. Furthermore, there are also analyzed stakeholders. At the conclusion of the thesis, the findings obtained from the partial analyzes are used to design two versions of business strategy. One of them is chosen after assessing the better one.

The effect of the use of sports celebrities as the reference group on the buying preferences of the young generation in the Prague region

Title: The effect of the use of sports celebrities as the reference group on the buying preferences of the young generation in the Prague region Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to determine through marketing research whether and what effect has the use of sports celebrities in marketing communication of companies as a reference group on the buying preferences of the young generation, so-called Generation Y, in the Prague region. Methods: The thesis used a questionnaire survey and subsequent focus groups. For the creation of the questionnaire is used as a basis the US version of the original questionnaire of the authors BUSH, MARTIN, BUSH (2004). Firstly the questionnaire undergoes a process of transcultural transfer, in which is utilized a modified direct translation and confirmatory factor analysis. This survey includes a sample of 416 respondents who are students of Prague secondary schools and universities. Focus groups are conducted with four groups which counts a total of 41 respondents. Results: The research results show that the use of sports celebrities in marketing communication has no demonstrable effect on the word-of-mouth communication and the switching and complaining behaviour for Generation Y. The spread of moisture from sources of Mondi SCP and their impact on the microclimate after the project ECO PLUS - Installation of a new paper machine PM19

The report summarizes the results of the assessment of the impact of changes in humidity and heat emissions from sources of Mondi SCP for selected climatic characteristics associated with the expansion of production at the new paper machine PS19A. The assessment is based on a comparison of impacts to the existing system resources, including an increase in pulp production (Project 2000), and extended system of resources associated with the operation of PS19A. The results were obtained by applying a mathematical model CT-PLUME/MONDI_R. The calculations were performed for the winter part of the years 2011 to 2014 and included an assessment of the impact of point and diffuse sources on the climatic characteristics of the model area.

This diploma thesis Business plan: Flats for rent to foreign tourists shows the reader the solution of business plan and project management in the real world. Theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the basic structure of a business plan, financial part of this diploma thesis and shortly describes the legal issues of rent the flat in the Czech Republic. Everything is applied in the practical part of this thesis, where the project is described, after that analysis of the inner and outer environment are made. The next chapter describes in detail the conditions for the implementation of marketing strategy. The last chapter of this thesis is devoted to financial plan, in which are calculated few scenarios of the business idea and possible risks of this project. The processing of the business plan is focused on practical application and is designed as instructions on how to start a business in this subject.

Use of Bond Analysis during Estimating Process of Exchange Rates of Selected Securities

The diploma thesis uses theoretical knowledge from the literature sources. The diploma thesis characterizes capital market and the securities which are active on the capital market. The main theoretical part of diploma thesis is about bonds.
The practical part of diploma thesis is to analyse and compare the state bond, the bank bond and the corporate bond. All of chosen bonds are active on the Czech capital market.
The analyses of the state bond, the bank bond and the corporate bond are provides by calculating of the intrinsic value (the present value) of the bonds, of the profitability of the bonds and of the duration of the bonds. The analyses consists also from the comparing the liquidity of the bonds and their risk. The diploma thesis includes also a global fundamental analyze.
The final part of diploma thesis is comparing of the results of the analyses of the bonds and also includes the advice for the potential investor which bond is better for investing.
